-Edit-
From the FAQ from Photojojo
Will these lenses fit on my phone?
Sure! These lenses really work with most phones. If the area around your camera lens is relatively flat, and you can stick the little metal ring to it, our new camera phone lenses will work on your phone, no problem!

What about my iPhone 3G/S? The back is kind of curved - will the lenses still work?
The lenses will work with the iPhone 3G/S - but not perfectly. The curve of the phone will cause the edge of the fisheye and wide angle lens to be seen in your photos. The macro lens won't have this issue. You can easily crop the edge of the lens out of your photos with your favorite photo-editing program! Photoshop app, ftw.
quoted this because of the curve question

Can I use these lenses with a case on my phone?
You totally can! As long as the case is tight against the phone it should be fine. Thicker cases may cause slight light leaks but it'll still work!

What is the size of that little ring? How many of them do I get?
The diameters of the ring are 13.06mm (outer) and 9.38mm (inner). If your phone's lens has a smaller diameter, it'll work great! Each lens comes with two iPhone 4/4S rings and two all-other-phone-compatible rings

Thanks Alot!
I will order this, if it wont work, my sister will get a gift for her Iphone
It won't work
Seriously, it won't
It probably will fit. From what I can make out it comes with an adhesive metal ring which fits over the hole for your camera. The lenses are magnetic so attach to the ring. As long as the adhesive ring fits it should be fine. I'm going to buy my girlfriend one for her sgs2 next week and will report back on whether or not it also fits the Sensation.
"Top grade aluminium"... held on by a magnet? I smell a rat.
Also, reguardless of the fact that you won't actually be using the phone to make a call whilst the lens is attached, I am curious to know the effect sticking magnets and large lumps of metal to your phone has on your signal strength.
This arrived yesterday so I thought I'd update. The piece that attaches to the phone is a small metal ring with an adhesive back. Although it fits the sgs2 much better than the Sensation, it still certainly fits the Sensation really well and doesn't feel like it would easily come off. The package came with around 7 of the metal adhesive rings so it's not a problem if one does happen to fall off. The magnets on the lenses are very strong - I think they may even be rare earth magnets - so they attach to the ring really well and feel quite sturdy when they're on. I didn't have much time to check the quality of the lenses but the macro seemed fantastic and the fish eye quite good.

I've been looking at these myself and wasn't sure how well they would fit the curvature on the camera. After your quick review I think i'll them a go.
Thanks

Unfortunately my girlfriend has the fisheye lens out with her so this is all I can do for now. Hope this helps
i thought only the iThings get this kinda gizmos, waiting for other pictures to see the quality. how does the Auto focus on sensation work with these lenses?
i like em fish eye and macro lenses.!
I've seen the iThing versions and look plasticky - these look way better since its made of metal alloy - hows the signal / radio / wifi? is it affected in anyway?
i just searched on ebay and ordered some of these from a different seller for slightly cheaper - they appear to be the same thing.
i'll post back when i get them and try to get some pics up.

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy a tempered glass protector for the lens of the S6. The camera lens sticks out quite a bit, and I have my phone in my pocket with keys and other objects.
On past phones such as the Note 2 and 3, the glass has always been scratched, to the point on my Note 3 where it hindered the sensor.
I bought the full body and it came with a full camera lens and hole cover. All the other full body kits leave the hole uncovered.

Yea it's plastic.
Dude you aren't going to find anyone who will manufacture such a small piece of glass, they can barely create a good fitting one for the front screen.

I was just asking because I know that in the past, Niilkin used to make glass covers for the camera for the OnePlus One, and for the Note line.

Dude you don't know that and shouldn't try to discourage him. Maybe a local glass shop might be able to make you a small piece.
Not quite glass but a aluminum might be a solution.

Is the skin any good? Is it just to stop the phone getting scuffed?
These look interesting! I like the idea and adds even more customization
Although Dbrand does have skins where you can select the camera lens with your skin
I am researching a protective cover for the lens glass cover. I just had to pay $65 for a new cover, and was told at the store that this cover is very prone to breakage in the Galaxy S6. They replace them all the time. Anyone know of a clear protective cover for this?

Just bought one. We'll see how it turns out. $0.99 isn't too much to lose if it sucks.
Sorry i'd post pics of it on the phone but I don't own an S6 anymore. Mine was a tiny metal ring around the camera lens. I felt safe enough to use the phone without a case with it on. The only thing is you gotta align the protector properly or it might block the camera.

Let us know how it goes. The only issue I can see happening is it impacting picture quality / focus / etc, but I'm sure it has been at least slightly tested before they made it

I doubt it. You could just get a cheap $1 screen protector for any old phone from ebay (not an anti-glare one) and cut it to fit, however you risk losing some functionality of the heart sensor if it is obstructed.
Alright. Finally got the thing in the mail. I use the Ringke slim case and the Nillkin glass screen protector, and I am very happy with the look and feel of the coverage and protection. Adding this thing on was a bit of a disappointment, Without the case, it is like wearing a ten gallon hat on your knee. Painfully obvious. It sticks out and leaves a gap between it and the phone. With the case on, it isn't so bad. It stays beneath the lens protecting "bump" of the case and it doesn't interfere with photos. I have ttached pics with and without the case to illustrate my thoughts on it.

Without case
Hey guys and gals,
I know there is a select group of people out there that like waterproof cases. Well i am one of them.
I did the whole sign up and wait (im)patiently for the lifeproof cases to release, ordered one the second day and when it came i realized i hated it. Thats where Dog & Bone comes in they gave away one of their cases on facebook and I won it. Ive had it for about 2 weeks and love it.
Heres a link: https://www.dogandbonecases.com/pro...uit-samsung-galaxy-s6-waterproof-rugged-case/
Heres my experience thus far:
The case is excellent, it feels great in the hand and the back being rubber coated helps a lot. There is no raised camera hump so it lays perfectly flat. It seems they used a thinner material over the home button than lifeproof did (it feels thinner and my fingerprint works more often). Dog & Bane claims its water proof, dust proof, snow proof, and shock proof.
I live in Atlanta so ive only been able to test out water, dust and shock proofs.
Waterproof- Ive done a few water tests on it just to be 100% sure it worked. no issues whatsoever. I take it in the shower just for gits and shiggles. Just gotta make sure the charge and head phone ports are closed all the way.
Dustproof- i work in a bakery and i rock climb, so im around flour and chalk consistently. At the end of the day i just rinse off the case and its good to go.
Shockproof- like i said i work in a bakery and rock climb i drop my phone all the time no problems.
Snowproof- Haha maybe ill get back to you guys this winter... maybe.
Also sound quality is excellent with this case. definitely puts lifeproof to shame.
That should be good for now.
Any questions? Just ask ill try and respond to the best of my ability.
pictures mate pictures....

the back is completely flat. no camera hump. it does have a rubbery texture so it wont slide around.
I was skeptical of how the sound quality would be before I got it but now that I have it I'm glad I got one. Since I work in a bakery there's always machines turned on and with the lifeproof I basically said forget listening to music. This case howerver has amazing quality. It's really loud.
i would however say stay away from the white verzion of this case it gets dirty really easy.

Thanks man. I just realized how absurd my question sounded. This case is waterproof, right? If yes, then the camera lens recessed or not won't matter because there is a waterproof barrier. Correct? Thanks.

I got mine today. Black one
I am comparing it to lifeproof fre which i previously had
Ups:
1. Awesome sound quality compared to lifeproof. Ring tone and voice can be heard loud and clear.
2. Quality of the case is on per with lifeproof.
3. Slim profile and nice grip
4. Waterproofing works.
5. buttons are responsive and clicky.
6. The camera and heart rate sensor are protected by glass
7. The back is flat with patterns.
Downs:
1. The screen protector feels like plastic ?! They advertise it as glass but it really feels like plastic and attracts dirt/lint. It even has a small rainbow effect. !!!!! Screen has a dotted appearance ?! You can see them in above picture also.
2. the audio port cover of mine is heard to open.
Verdict: I am gonna keep this and use it as my daily driver. Sound quality is awesome compared to muffled lifeproof. I am disappointed by the screen protector as it feels like plastic ( may be it is plastic ??) which is advertised as glass. This case does everything lifeproof does with awesome sound quality. So yeah I would recommend this.

I have not come across this case or company, but my initial impression is this case is pretty hardcore. I myself am a technician out in the field looking for a more ruggedized case. The only things that sticks out to me that I wouldn't like are the branding and the screws. If you don't ever plan on switching this case out then it's fine, but for me personally I like to switch out cases depending on occasion and I wouldn't want to carry this bulky thing for a night on the town. For people who like to switch you have to take into consideration not to lose the screws. The price seems appropriate, but with as heavy duty as this case is I'm surprised they didn't make it waterproof.
I had an iblason armourbox on my old phone (nexus 5) and it was full body like the love mei but all just clipped over itself together but I can't find anything else similar yet for the Z5. I like the look of this love mei case but it looks like it could be annoying for some reason
Sent from my Xperia z5 by Tapatalk
Looking at the photo there's no way to access the fingerprint scanner
I don't use it. It annoys me not being able to just double tap notifications to go into them
Sent from my Xperia z5 by Tapatalk
I personally had one of these for my Z3, I really don't recommend it, to me it's too heavy, yeah sure it looks like it's bulletproof, but having owning one, I could not live with it on a day to day basis

This is what I was worried about with it

I' planning on getting one for summertime adventures at the lake / river, but I also wouldn't use it on a daily basis, just when I want to be extra sure that it's sufficiently waterproof, perhaps beyond sony's official suggested use.
I used one on my Z2 (sent it back, due to front glass being loose, and didn't order another since it didn't really suit me). Here's pros and cons, at least for me. You might not mind them.
Pros:
-ROCK SOLID build quality. All (real) metal, with (real) front glass screen protector. There's multiple layers to the case, and I felt like a freaking bullet could hit it.
-Very reasonable price
-Lanyard hole
-Really gorgeous finish, paintjob is top-notch and feels great (I had the red one)
Cons:
-RIDICULOUSLY heavy, though this might not bother you. This took the weight of my Z2 from 163g to 393g.
-A lot bulkier than the photos make it look. This fits into almost no pockets without awkwardly pushing it with force into and out of them.
-If for whatever reason you want to take it off, you need the screwdriver, and when you have it, it takes a good almost-minute or so to take it on or off.
-No fingerprint scanner (at least in your case)
-It's not waterproof, so if submerged or put under a tap, water easily gets in, and sits against the glass screen protector, meaning you have to take the case off, wipe the glass and put it back on.
Honestly, I'm sure you don't care about 90% of these, and just want a solid, rugged, affordable case. In that case (pun intended ;3), grab it. They're really well made and should protect against anything.

Don't for that, it actually removes the waterproofing ability. Water easily gets in the case, and sits against the phone, which can actually damage the phone if left for long enough. Also, it sits against the glass front panel of the case, and presses the screen, meaning you have to take the case off with the damn screwdriver and dry it.
Lol thanks. I'm thinking maybe a case mate tough with tempered glass front may be a better option

Oh, really? good to know. That's super annoying. I bought a cheaper case for my galaxy note 2 http://goo.gl/lLD9yU and it works like a charm! I took my phone swimming this last summer and in the river and all over the place. It was awesome. I just don't like the galaxy lineup because they don't have a dedicated camera button, which really helps when trying to film or photograph underwater. (I'm also annoyed that their current lineup doesn't have a micro SD card slot anymore.) One time, It even fell off of my arm band and had fallen like 16 feet before I noticed. I had to dive down after it. I'm glad I got the white one. If I had gotten a darker color, I'd never have seen it as it was falling. anyway, the upshot is, I recovered my phone and water never got into the case. I really hope this cheap, knock-off manufacturer will also make cases for the z5 because I'm exceedingly happy with the one for my note 2.
Love Mei case
I had Love Mei case for z2 that was stolen few weeks ago. Getting new phone by 1 Dec,
Ordered case for Z5 on 1 Nov from love mei website direct. Stupid enough to pay extra for speedy delivery and order is still processing after 20 days. not even sent from them with a tracking number.
Not responding to emails. $49 in the water
I have this case now and it was cool at first but now its annoying. It's heavy, my fingers barely could drag down the status bars in both landscape and portrait mouse and dust build in the cut out for the front camera lens and sensor. I'm going to the devil bumper case soon. But it did protect you phone well (even tho I really never dropped it) but it'll protect your 700 dollar investment.
Edit:
Just realized that it covers the notification light
And the dust that piles up inside is ridiculous.
I have this and it is heavy not waterproof and the camera button does not work properly you can turn on the camera but you can't take pictures but other than that it provides a good protection but there are better ones out there
The case isn't that bad. Today it's my fifth day using it and it does its job. The first two days it made my z5 look like a phablet but I got used to the look and the feel (I have some big hands so there are no problems with touching any of the screen corners with the thumb :good. It has 3 layers: a metal plate on the back, some rubber too and the protective glass on the front (you get 6 screws for the front and other 2 just in case+2 screwdrivers). The rubber buttons press like there is no case on them. Unfortunately the case is too protective so it covers the fingerprint scanner. Overall, the case does its thing and it's a bestbuy if you don't mind losing the fingerprint scanner and having a solid look
Anyone not using a case notice the ring that houses the camera lens is really easily scratched? I never set my phone down on anything but my laminate desk at work, or wood surfaces and keep it in a pocket by itself, but the ring that the phone rests on is all scuffed and scratched and is losing its black paint. The lens is totally fine, and I honestly don't care because I'm jumping in a few months for an 820 phone but wanted to know if anyone noticed this happening to their phone.

Not bad, but being just a ring skin on the bezel of the lens, how well does it stay on without peeling off?
I was thinking of getting a skin and cutting it to fit the lens and under the battery cover to help keep it down and attached to the phone.

Mine has stayed just fine. It was the corners of the rails that wanted to come unstuck for me.
Happened to my V10 from T-Mobile

Anyone not using a case notice the ring that houses the camera lens is really easily scratched? I never set my phone down on anything but my laminate desk at work, or wood surfaces and keep it in a pocket by itself, but the ring that the phone rests on is all scuffed and scratched and is losing its black paint. The lens is totally fine, and I honestly don't care because I'm jumping in a few months for an 820 phone but wanted to know if anyone noticed this happening to their phone.

Same thing happened to me have not dropped it what so ever. Have occasionally had it in a case and in my pocket with nothing but lynt. I just noticed a scratch on the ring around camera lens today after I left from work have not set phone on anything except kitchen countertops. Called my carrier and immediately requested a replacement should get it in a few days. Man I'm a little disappointed this is supposed to be the military built phone not even my Note 4 scratched this easily especially around the camera. This can cause some real problems in the long run for this one.
Applied clear nail polish to the ring. All is well...
All these threads make me paranoid.... No problems with my soon the be 3 week old V10. Usually it's in my front pocket or resting on it's back in a case which keeps the camera raised high enough that it never touches. Depending on the situation it will sometimes go into a proper sized neoprene pouch. Hoping that Seidio comes out with a case holster combo...

Awesome idea.
Stuff like this freakin drives me insane. Mine has alot of marks on it. It's really a poor and cheap design. TBH with this and the peeling/chipping Duraskin and apparently the not more than ordinary screen and phone durability reported in some of these other threads makes me kinda just wish I had waited and got the G5. :banghead:

Maybe if enough of us request, they'll stock up. I've requested side rails, camera rings and lenses.

Have you done this? Are they a precise fit or do you have to make them fit? This actually looks like a good idea....

I haven't done it myself. The ring around the camera lens is 16.5mm but you can trim the washer down.
For a lot less money you can buy a sheet of round gold foil stickers and make disposable lens caps.

As we all know, the camera lense is not the strongest one around and it needs a cover or protector of some kind. I'm wondering if there is such a thing available anywhere, or any other alternatives on how to protect the lens? Thanks!
right on time. http://www.4tified.com/devices-1/
mine didnt come with one though.. i ordered/received mine like 3 weeks ago? not a big deal since my camera bezel scratches arent too noticeable.
oh and that military green does look badass.

Looks great but I'm having trouble sorting out exactly what this "Camera lens bezel skin" does. This covers the lens bezel. Is the idea that it keep the round back circle around the lens (the bezel) from scratching or does it also offer some protection to the camera lens itself? Thanks.
Im guessing the area around the camera glass. A lot of people have been noticing how easy it is forbthat area to get scuffed up. But i would think this would also help a little with the actual camera lens from getting scratched since the skin would prob lift it off any flat surface a little.

That sounds right, thanks.
But this doesn't cover the lens (only the bezel), which is what the OP was asking about. Are there any products out there that protect the lens.

Yeah lol. I just re-read the op. I guess I had it in my mind the outter bezel is what he was referring to since I've seen more people complain about that area.
Only thing I've seen is this. The reason lens protection is so hard to come by is because it can obscure pictures. Especially anything with an adhesive back (like the one i linked). The residue can cause images to look "hazy" especially in low light situations.
My lens glass has cracked on both my G4 and my V10 and I blame the poor design of having it protrude from the rest of the back. It should have been the opposite. Unfortunately this causes very ugly light streaks in dim settings when taking a picture. The only thing I've found to remedy this by buying a replacement which was surprisingly cheap. $10. However, the auto-focus and macro capabilities never seem to be the same afterwards. Sigh.

I replaced my lens and don't have any issues with auto focus or macros. I did before the replacement but not after.
My glass lens protector and a few spares.

Hello,
I am just about to order an H961N from Ebay and since my main priority for it will be it's camera, I intend to protect it using a PDair leather Flip Case.
http://www.pdair.com/index.php/lg-v10-flip-wallet-case.html
As you will see this case fully protects the rear of the camera but still allows it to be used in a hurry when required.
Having used one of these on my Nokia N8 for the last 5 years (yes really!), I know it is both well made and effective. My N8 still looks like new and takes good photos
albeit not now up to V10 standards.

Someone mentioned the poor quality and the size of the protector(too small).

I can't find anything about the poor quality, being too small is not about quality, the buyer just got the protector from the wrong seller, I got 2 set from two different seller, one being too small, I think the seller just wanted to sell them and sold it as a V10, the second set is the correct size, fit's exactly within the size of the V10 lens.
have anyone tried this one? a little expensive i guess http://www.amazon.com/Martin-Fields-Overlay-Screen-Protector/dp/B0198T4AA4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1463978276&sr=8-1&keywords=lg+v10+camera+protector
Just get an Obliq case. It's very functional, looks super cool and is just high enough to protect the bezel without obstructing the camera function
eh, it looks like it would have no real protction. i dropped my gs5 and broke the glass that covered the lense. i would love to have some kind of extra glass screen to go over it.
