[Q] Dead display? - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

A few days ago we had a fire drill at work where we had to stand out in the cold wind for about an hour or so (took my tf101 with me in my usual over the shoulder bag). When we got back in to the building, I had some time while waiting for the computer to boot up so I pulled out my trusty old tablet and lo and behold - it seemed like it would not turn on. I let it sit for a couple of hours, thinking the cold had something to do with it, but no go.
I plugged in the charger and let the tablet charge for about 4 hours - still no go. I could not get anything displaying on the screen - even trying to get into CWM - still nothing on the display.
At home, I plugged it in via usb to the computer (thinking it might be a charger issue) but come the morning the display still would not come on.
I CAN adb into the tablet - and I have pushed the stock image / recovery back to the tablet (in case it was a ROM issue) and it seems to have made no difference at all (the computer does recognize the reboots of the tablet). I am thinking this is an actual hardware issue and I may need to RMA it for a fix.
Opinions?
Addition:
Pulled the device apart VERY carefully - found nothing that looked like it was unattached or broken

It's dead Jim.

OK, never had any auto resets, just had to manually restart often to cure various ills. Then yesterday it was stuck on the dimmest backlight setting. This morning picked it up from charging overnight and it's 100% dead. Switched batteries, plugged it into various computers and USB power sources. Dead.
Anyone brought a G2x back to life?
Have you tried a wall charger? If your battery discharges completely, like deader than dead, then sometimes you have to plug it into a wall charger and leave it there for several minutes before the phone will even show its connected to a charger.
I guess the real question to ask first is, what did you have it plugged in to? What kind of charger? Was it plugged into a surge protector?
It was plugged into the LG wall charger it came with overnight. I tried a iGo USB wall -> USB power supply and a USB port on my desktop windows PC.

It depends on how dead it is, if its a hardware defect of some sort then you're probably SOL. But, you don't have to be able to turn it on per se to use NVFlash, so if I were you I would try to see if you can get the device to be recognized using the APX drivers. If you can, then you might have a chance.
My G2x died after freaking up during one of the Davlik cache clears....
It originally would boot up and get stuck at "LG", but after a while it was completely unresponsive (not even a Boot Logo) and wouldn't even turn on. I thought it was fried. Luckily we have NVFlash that you can use without booting the phone up.
Take the battery out and press and hold the VOL keys, then plug it in. Your PC should "ping" letting you know something was connected. Then just reflash a recovery.
I did this a ton of times and it didn't work at first. I kept flashing stock then CWM, then stock, then CWM (different versions too). Eventually it displayed the LG logo and allowed me to boot into CWM where I flashed a new rom.
Been solid ever since.
I also read about this in the Asus Transformer forums (cause I just picked one up) and read about a guy experiencing the same thing.
Worth a shot. The NVFlash method will at least let you know if it is DEAD or just not working. If NVFlash doesn't connect then it is hosed. If NVFlash connects and accepts a new recovery, then something just got corrupted.
All good now! I unplugged, removed battery, let sit a while. Put the battery back in and it booted! Yet more strange behaviour from the G2x, but as usually I get it working again and stick with this phone.
But today I got a second from craigslist to play with alternate ROMs. Trying CM7.1 RC1 first, it's working pretty good on my Nook.

[Q] TF300t does not boot

Hi guys I have had my TF300 for about 9 months now, and it has been working well until a few days ago.
Right now, I can't get the tablet to boot up at all, apart from some minor things, there is no sign of life.
After looking around I have tried several solutions with no luck.
I have tried holding the power button for about 2 minutes.
Cold boot (holding both vol down and power for about 20 seconds)
Charging via the regular charger
Charging via a regular USB charger (for around 10 hours)
Charging via a computer
The few lifesigns I have seen from the tab is that the battery indicator on the sleep button, as well as the fact that windows detects the tablet when I connect it. When I connected it the first time after the crash, windows tried to install drivers for it but failed, now I only get the "device disconnection sound" and some other sound that I have never heard before about 20 seconds after I plug it in.
So, what could be the cause of this. A few days ago, I brought my tablet to school because I needed it for programming. My teacher wanted to take a look at it but failed to put it in the dock properly. It fell from about 10 cm which shouldn't cause any problems. However when we tried to use it with the dock, something was wrong. The tablet didn't detect the dock until we restarted it. So everything was fine.
The next day, I had the tablet in my bag, and my friend (not knowing about it being in there) droped my bag from about 20 cm. Again nothing that should be a problem. However, when I went to turn on the tablet a few hours later, it didn't start at all.
So, should droping it from 20cm realy make the tablet break?
Also, im running the latest official android version from ASUS. If any of you have any idea what may be wrong or how to solve it, I would be grateful.
Sounds like a loss of connection inside. The jolts prolly rattled something loose. If you feel comfortable, take it apart and take a synopsis.

Weird battery issue

Hey guys,
About a week ago I replaced my working tf300t with a nexus 7 (2013) and I was thinking of doing some sort of project with the tf300t so i took it apart and looked at every part (ofcourse i turned the service switch off to skip damaging the touch screen controller) when i reassembled everything and I plugged it in I got 2 blinking red lights! and it would not turn on! I then decided to open it up again and see if i switched the service switch back to on, which was on! I decided to run some tests, I unplugged the battery and plugged the tablet into the charger... and guess what it turned on! I unplugged the charger to look for other stuff and because I was so stressed I forgot to flip the damn service switch (this broke the touch screen controller :/)
My main issue/question now is; what is wrong with the battery? I don't need the touch screen for my project but i'm still wondering why the battery refuses to chrage! I checked the cables a billion times and I cannot manage to push the battery connector in even more so I guess it's correctly seated. Does anyone know what's wrong?

[Q] - ASUS ME302c screen issue

This is more of a "What happened" rather than a "How do I fix this".
Device: ASUS MeMOPAD FHD 10 (ME302C)
Went to school, played on the Internet on my tab for awhile before starting homework. After I was done I found I had some time and wanted to watch some netflix. Pulled out my tab and found it unresponsive. Could have been dead but I know I charged it last night.
Been messing with it trying to get it working (held the power button for 1-2 minutes, tried plugging it in, sacrificing a goat, tried plugging it into my laptop to try and see if I will still recognize a drive). I resolved to let it charge overnight before attempting to pop the case and pulling the battery. Just before I plugged it in again I caught a flickering of the ASUS power up screen. I thought I might be a loose wire or something in the case so I started tapping and jiggling the tab to see if I would come back, but nothing. I come back to google what had happened and randomly the tablet is working fine now.
Big Question: What the heck happened? Little Question: is there anything I can do about it?
Thanks to anyone who can bring me any insight.

G Flex 2 keeps shutting down

I recently dropped my phone on the ground and the glass is now broken. But it worked normally for about 14 days. Then suddenly one day at work it shut down on its own. After that I wasn't able to start it. No reaction for any of the buttons, nor their combinations. Even when I plugged the charger in, no sign of life. I thought it's over.
Then the next day, I plugged the charger in and the screen with 0% battery appeared. So I left it charging, but when I came back to it (20 minutes) it was dead again. Not even the diode indicating it is charging. Again no response for the buttons, nothing. So I tried to disassemble it, disconnected everything. Put it together and viola! The screen indicating 0% battery was there again. I left it like that for a while, and when it was charged a little, I tried to start it. It started and normally worked. At least it seemed to, but after a while (1 - 3 minutes) while I was using it, it went to the dead phone again.
So I discovered, that when I disconnect the battery for a while and then connect it again, I am able to boot the phone. I was even able to do factory reset. I thought I got it and that it was some software fault. However after like 5 minutes (it downloaded all apps, logged to my google account, looked all ok) the screen shut down again and again the phone played dead.
Now I have the phone booted, and charging (almost 100% now). But I guess when I start using it again, it will again go to the dead mode (since it did it everytime after I used it a little, no specific action done, totally random).
I guess it has to be related to the broken glass. Maybe some water or humidity got through it and the phone is trying to save itself from damage by going to the dead mode. It's weird because sometimes (like now) the phone is OK when not used, normally chraging and not shutting down (now it's ON for about 40 minutes), but if it shuts down, it takes about 3 or 4 battery disconnect and connect again, before it boots to the main screen. Sometimes it just dies before the screen, sometimes it dies when I try to plug the charger in, really no idea what causes it.
How should I diagnose it? USB debugging and check the log when using it and when it dies? Or has anyone experienced this too? Or could the battery be damaged? Or can I somewhere set the phone to prevent from selfkilling actions? Today I will try my main board in my friends G Flex 2, to see if it's the board, or something else.

Adding the error log from console
OK so it was probably mother board fault, so I had to buy a new phone It is like 3 months, and I just yesterday accidentally poured some water on it, so i destroyed another one. It is still in warranty but I guess with water damage there is no warranty. Anyone knows where to find all the water damage indicators? Or is it even possible to make it look like there was no water damage?
