arabic support in 2.10.401.9 - HTC Desire S

can anyone help me install arabic support for the sms stock app...
I am on stock deodexed rom (rooted of course) 2.3.5 (2.10.401.9)
it can read the arabic letters, but they are not connected
thanx

I think you should use another build. This one is for Europe. There is another one one for Asia that supports Arabic if I remember correctly. Look for it in Adidas thread in index.

And if you're on deodexed ROM and you really want the support in your particular ROM, look for madmack's script (originally posted in Galaxy S section, AFAIK) that integrates the support into framework. Google it, I believe you'll find it. It works for any deodexed Gingerbread/Froyo/Eclair ROM.

Thanks a lot guys.. I am going to try this

Problem is framework i think
Could any developper help us to add parts of sense 3 : lockscreen, weather, sms, email, ... to this rom because i need full arabic support (browser, gmail, email, fb, maps...)
Sent from my HTC Desire S using XDA App
@luca2006, you will need to boot your rom at least once after flashing to finish the setup wizard, just skip through it, then you are good to reboot into recovery and flash the sense 3 parts. That's how it works for me
I tried many times but i have not succeed ...

Can I use Arabic RUU ShooterU as base for King Cobra ICS?

If anyone from the king cobra team is about to read this, I have one simple question: can I flash the latest KC ICS rom with 3.28.415.2 firmware as base (arab ruu shooteru official ota ics) instead the one recommended in the KC thread?
I will probably s-off my evo soon but until then i would like to use a fully operational ics rom with beats support because I can't live without music...
Thx in advance, hope to have an answer to my question soon...

C.R.A.M.D

I came up with the idea of creating a Custom Roms and Mods Database, C.R.A.M.D for short.
I wanted to get some input into this first before i start pilling on hours and hours of work.
My idea is to create a central Link directory for all Custom roms and mods thats are available.
I was hoping to create a simple website that allows you to select your device then your version of android and then your branch of rom.
Does anybody think this is worth doing?
I eventually hope to have a central database for all custom roms and mods that are available. With approval of the developers of the roms and mods.
Please vote Yes or No so i can get an idea if this is worth doing or not.
I personnaly think it would be handy and would save hours of searching to find that one mod that you used to have on your old device.
Didn't you just describe XDA?
Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2
No i didn't even come close to discribing XDA, but i can see where the confusion is coming from.
Let me elaborate a bit more so you understand what i mean.
My idea is not to create a place for users to develop, because we don't need to. XDA has takken care of that for us.
What is want to do is create an easy to search directory for all custom roms and mods on XDA
As i know myself from expiriance that trying to find something using the search function can lead you to the wierdest things. And i know i don't want to spend hours searching.
What i want to do is (to put it simply):
Android Device: Generic
Gingerbread: 2.3
Rom 1: www.linktoxdathreadhere.com
available mods for Rom 1: www.linktoxdamodshere.com
Rom 2: www.linktoxdathreadhere
available mods for Rom 2: www.linktoxdamodshere.com
available mods for Rom 2: www.linktoxdamodshere.com
ICS: 4.0
Rom 1: www.linktoxdathreadhere.com
available mods for Rom 1: www.linktoxdamodshere.com
Rom 2: www.linktoxdathreadhere
available mods for Rom 2: www.linktoxdamodshere.com
available mods for Rom 2: www.linktoxdamodshere.com
So my idea is a tool to help speed up the process of seaching for Roms and Mods and then being directed to XDA to then discuss and download.
See C.R.A.M.D as the central directory that holds all numbers and addresses. Not anything like XDA just a telephone so people can look there devices up and see within a minute what all is available.
But this would make it earsier on the flashaholics out there, The ones who want to flash every rom and mod available without having to search and search to find that one mod they can't seem to find anymore
This seems like a good idea, searching the whole of xda takes time. I will vote yes.

You usually find this idea in almost all the xda developers phones forums as sticky threads. Almost all the forums I know have a sticky thread in the development section with an index of ROMs and mods.

Quick question regarding HTC Sensations...

Sorry for being a complete noob but I recently converted to Android. :3 Are all these ROMs, mods and themes compatible with every single HTC Sensation? I have a Z710A and am really confused about this..
Yes however you have to Have proper firmware for ics roms.. also there are certain ways to flash the roms according to weather you are s off or s on. And of course you must be rooted. In my opinion it's much easier done if rooted and s off. To explain all this it's much easier if you read the guides then you can understand a bit better. Hope this helps. As for the mods yes there compatible with sensation however some are dependant on which rom your running. Such as a sense rom, or a jelly bean rom. They will state in the title which rom they are compatible with.
