[Q] miui thread closed?

I haven't been in the loop for a few weeks but why is the thread closed, I read a few of the newer pages but didn't see a reason to close. Will it be back?

Yeah the infuses xda section is falling apart to be honest. I think that the moderator needs to completely wipe the Infuses section except for ROMS, modems, and other development tools. We need a fresh start at development. Does anyone elese agree? Or am I just ranting?

This exactly. Some idiots that complained a lot, meanwhile the devs mother was in the hospital and he was helping out, which he clearly stated in thread. Some people just don't have any patience or understanding...

I completely agree. We need to send JordanElliott a big thank you card and see if we can get this ball rolling again. He's only been off the MIUI thread for 2 days and everyone is lost.

The infuse is falling apart, our development is ruined. We do have a few great devs, but not enough that can truly make this a good phone. New ports are coming everyday, but seems like people running the aosp roms (not me lol) seem to just want updates and updates only. Not to go hating on people, but please, please be nice and lets make this change!

It would be nice but I don't really see anything changing, too many new and better phones, it just seems the devs get bored quick and jump to the next best thing. Can't really blame them but it would be nice if the infuse could spake some more interest.

Man I just spent 1hr finding out how to port. I give it to the Devs boy its time consuming.
Which I had the time to cook in the kitchen.

If any of you decide to take a crack at it let me know. I will gladly be a test dummy.

Dude you should do it. Maybe you could just release it every 2 weeks or so and then if anyone gives you any bull or something then just ignore them. I Understand how jordan got mad and there were people giving him crap, but shutting it down is like killing off a lot of people who loved it lol (I never tried it). I think there should be a main post stickied saying read this, and saying how if there is any bull, it will not be tolerated and you will be ignored. Someone should seriously do that haha!

There needs to be a weekly or even monthly port and no comments. If you have questions GO TO THE Q AND A SECTION! That way we can still get our sweet sweet rom and the douche bags can go flame else where.

I think more of us would step in to help after seeing what happened last time. That being said, the age for getting smartphones is getting lower and lower. There are a lot of little ****s on xda now, so the devs have to have a bit thicker skin IMO.

Not to be rude man but under g2x there are categories general/development/q&a/ and last but not least "theme and apps" the "theme" part should be a good clue.

Just going to the development section, there are plenty of roms on the first three pages with the info you are looking for. Maybe reading is not your strong point but it would serve you well to RESEARCH before trying to be an asshole.

Some people won't ever read the rules. Get over it and act like a decent human being.
Instead of crying about it, politely help them out an explain to them how it's much better for them if hey search. That'll do more then acting like a brat.

Acually i have searched and have seen the nice size change log on the cm10, so i know they are working on it. And i posted this in general because i was hopeing for discussion not a answer, if u bothered to read my post u would of noticed i said for opinions. And i am not looking to email the dev because i am sure they are busy enough as it is. There was a nice topic about it in the cm9 section when they fist announced cm10 but it has become quit lately.

I like your answer but lets get back to the topic on hand. I agree with what was stated earlier, that it should come out in around a week my rasoning is not only the huge changelog on cm10 that is available to read but also cm9 has gone from nightly's to weekly's. Though the last one was alittle more than a week. And than look how stable the unofficial roms are getting. Anyone else agree if so why? Thats what I want to hear is why u believe maybe u just have a hunch or looking at some of the stuff i mentioned.

While it may an "other jb rom" vincom's CM10 superlite will show you exactly what the cm10 nightly will be like (minus some of the extraneous fluss - not that there's much of that on cyanogen roms).
To be truthful, cm10 is more of an incremental improvement but it's heading the right way...

Haha well I definitely agree with A2 related/off topic. Works for me. I was thinking about something where we can all just literally talk. About whatever we want. Only because, sadly, I spend 60% of my day on XDA, and I like when there's something to talk about or someone to help. But PM's work for some of that so Its all good really. But all this ^^ is the A2 community. If that makes any sense Lol. Its 3 in the afternoon and I'm just waking up.

yeah, xda has officially replaced tv series as my break time.. havent seen a single episode of Dexter or any other series this season :crying:
