Oooohhh... I like how clean that is. Question, though, what is that icon that reads "Cleaner?"

its a task killer icon built into the launcher though i'd say its not as agressive as others but no hang ups on the latest version of the launcher. also forgot to mention this but it has the option to change your lockscreen aswell (doesn't rotate in landscape).
I've been using it for a while, there was recently an update for version 2.3, go check it out

So what's faster? This or LauncherPro? Also, which has the smallest memory footprint?
Try Nemus Launcher if you're looking for a launcher with light memory usage and smoothness and it's a pretty simple launcher to adjust to. The only thing you might dislike is lack of support for scrollable widgets. 360Launcher on the other hand is more eye candy than anything and only seems to work smoothly on more high end devices and I wouldn't recommend anyone with a low end device to use it, but it is packed with some pretty awesome features that made it more than just a gorgeous launcher. I stuck with it for everything it can do and it gets updated pretty often, within days and not weeks or months.
Is sexy gonna put this on my backup sidekick to see how i like it.
i like this laucher, its fast and fancy but still needs alot more themes and tweaks

could this replace those popular launchers out there, like launcher pro, plus and adw , etc
give it a try

Remember is still in beta stage 2.
Visit http://www.mappn.com/index.php for more info (im not the developer)
aHome has been around for a while now, and it's always a slower software then the other launchers..
yea i notice that too but i just try this version of ahome and even though is still in beta a runs pretty smooth on the evo compare to other ahome versions.
its seems this version is heading for android phones with 2.0 and higher devices.
I'll give it a shot, why not? Downloading...
Quick update:: Just a real quick first hands on of this version of aHome, and must say.. not bad. Compared to past versions. It's actually quite smooth. WIsh there were more options, but not a big deal. Also wish the app drawer was a bit smoother, but I am keeping in mind its still a beta.

Yeah its not bad at all. I'll keep my launcher pro for now, as you said some things are a little less fluid then lp, but still a beta yes.
it's faster because the last time anyone used aHome was on a g1
Someone has leaked the Dell Stage Launcher and widgets! Requires 2.2 and AOSP or Sense.
Try it out!

Looks really cool though , i'll try & report !!
I really like it I just want the home widget to work with cyanogenmod 6.1 rc
Sent from my overclocked Cyanogenmod htc evolution 4g sucka
I really like it too, but it's a bit laggy on the Nexus one. Tried it on my cousin's captivate and it's REALLY smooth, except for the drawer. Hopefully Dell improves on this, as this is just a leak/beta/alpha or something.
am I the only one who hopes google adds the unifying boxes around the app icons to make the UI look more unified? They could go with a full 4 cornered box as opposed to a rounded rectangle...but I think it looks spiffy both here and on Samsungs TouchPiss.

works perfectle with cyanogenmod 6.1 RC1 on my nexus
but still prefer ADW launcher because its smoother
This looks like it might be fun to play with. Ill give it a shot.

Just tried it on my N1. The twitter part of the social widget works but the Facebook part doesn't. It keeps saying username/password invalid. Plus the email widget won't show email streams even after adding an account.
FYI - for all those out there running into the same scenarios. If anyone can help with resolving these issues please give me a "heads up".
Thx...
Has anyone seen this (Android) launcher before?

mm...it looks like android 3.0 from a tablet. But I don't now yet what kind of launcher it is.
It's supposed to be an Android 2.2 device and I highly doubt that launcher was developed exclusively for it:
Could it simply be a custom launcher from Asia which hasn't made it's way here?
I actually thought we had lots of choice already, apart from the manufacturers launcher, we've got Launcher Pro, Launcher EX, plus SPB 3D Shell which is pretty good.
Looks like a custom launcher for a tablet whit 3.0

I am slowly starting to believe that because I can't find any info about it anywhere. On the other hand it's REALLY unusal, usually they use a "well known" launcher, MAYBE use a slightly different theme but this thing looks like nothing I've seen before.
Could this be some sort of custom rom for the zPad?
Yep... This one looks definitely like tablet
it is called 3d launcher and it isnt very good, cant edit quite allot of it, tried it from modaco a few months ago and went straight back to adw.
it's same like my tablet (opad p10 ), but i 'm using android 3.0 now , you can try the rom for vega
Can I use it for Android 2.2
This launcher is very interesting.
My phone has Android 2.2. Thus do you know the launcher works on the version?
Guys,
Here is a new launcher - LAUNCHER 8.
This is a windows phone 8 style launcher which is just perfect. It is unlike launcher 7(which consumes more ram and battery)
Really this is a very good launcher. You will fell in love with it. I just wanted to share this, cause first i also thought that this will be just another wp style launcher which will work very badly on our low end fit. But after installing this launcher,i was shocked and amazed by its smoothness and appearance.
So guys plz try it,you will not regret.

RE: Launcher8
thnx for sharing but, i dont think you should share an app that is having problems running on G Fit, otherwise, looks cool =)
I know that. But its working properly on my fit with no problems.Thats why i shared.
My goto launcher for this phone is TSF. Having used it on previous phones, I was disappointed with the stock launcher, looking too drab and granted, this isn't Maze Alpha specific but I feel a launcher can and does compliment any phone. For the MA, it's the perfect addon/theme/app/mod.
It looks great
It functions flawlessly
Has great features
My setup is to remove the clouds, make the clock a bit smaller, remove the floating button and change all effects to random. I am split on whether to grid (not sure it's possible) or leave the icon placement free.
But is there a better launcher ? I have tried many over time but none compare to TSF. I didn't realise until a few days ago there are official addons for the TSF launcher from the same people who make it too.

Microsoft Launch works better followed by Nova Launcher. I like the level of customization and performance they both provided.
Hi PJA, if you take a look at this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/maze-alpha/development/original-rom-t3720714
You see I had issues with MS launcher, that still isnt resolved.
Oh, okay! There are issues with Microsoft Launch, notwithstanding, it is still a better Launcher among many others I have tried. I am rocking it on Maze Alpha presently.
When i installed it, my long press for recent tasks stopped working. I have since factory reset my phone twice and it still isnt working.
You can try the latest Microsoft Launcher - many of the bugs and issues have been fixed..
I use the lawnchair launcher:
https://github.com/LawnchairLauncher/Lawnchair/tree/alpha
Use the Version from GITHUB not the one from the PlayStore.
It is really a very nice launcher with Google New News Feed.
Runs perfect on the Maze Alpha X.
Best regards,
Kai
