mm...it looks like android 3.0 from a tablet. But I don't now yet what kind of launcher it is.

It's supposed to be an Android 2.2 device and I highly doubt that launcher was developed exclusively for it:

Could it simply be a custom launcher from Asia which hasn't made it's way here?
I actually thought we had lots of choice already, apart from the manufacturers launcher, we've got Launcher Pro, Launcher EX, plus SPB 3D Shell which is pretty good.

Looks like a custom launcher for a tablet whit 3.0

I am slowly starting to believe that because I can't find any info about it anywhere. On the other hand it's REALLY unusal, usually they use a "well known" launcher, MAYBE use a slightly different theme but this thing looks like nothing I've seen before.

Could this be some sort of custom rom for the zPad?

Yep... This one looks definitely like tablet

it is called 3d launcher and it isnt very good, cant edit quite allot of it, tried it from modaco a few months ago and went straight back to adw.

it's same like my tablet (opad p10 ), but i 'm using android 3.0 now , you can try the rom for vega

Can I use it for Android 2.2
This launcher is very interesting.
My phone has Android 2.2. Thus do you know the launcher works on the version?

Remember is still in beta stage 2.
Visit http://www.mappn.com/index.php for more info (im not the developer)
aHome has been around for a while now, and it's always a slower software then the other launchers..
yea i notice that too but i just try this version of ahome and even though is still in beta a runs pretty smooth on the evo compare to other ahome versions.
its seems this version is heading for android phones with 2.0 and higher devices.
I'll give it a shot, why not? Downloading...
Quick update:: Just a real quick first hands on of this version of aHome, and must say.. not bad. Compared to past versions. It's actually quite smooth. WIsh there were more options, but not a big deal. Also wish the app drawer was a bit smoother, but I am keeping in mind its still a beta.

Yeah its not bad at all. I'll keep my launcher pro for now, as you said some things are a little less fluid then lp, but still a beta yes.
it's faster because the last time anyone used aHome was on a g1

Anyone tried this on G1 running 2.2 ROM?
Yes I did try it on CM6. Runs perfectly, kinda fast (compared to TouchWiz), but I hate it's LDPI graphics :S Or it is just me who sees only smudged stuff around? And pixelly too.

Hi, im new to the captivate and i just flashed the serendipity rom onto my phone, and it's awesome, im going to try out some other roms and i was wondering what you guys would suggest, also, how do i make my lock screen like this, cause it's awesome. and i had it on my xperia, sooo awesome.
also this dialer
MOD EDIT: Removing nude pictures
the only ROM's that support that double lockscreen (that I know of) is cyanogenmod (or any heavily modified AOSP I suppose). and the rest of that theme looks like it was designed for an AOSP-style ROM as well.

Isn't there an app that gives you that lockscreen...WidgetLocker or something?
Yes widget locker is what you are looking for. It is in the market
Thanks you guys, this is a great alternative, how ever built into the rom it runs much smoother. For now ill run widget locker, there doesn't appear to be a cyanogen rom yet that has everything working. so il wait

360 launcher 2.2.1

Oooohhh... I like how clean that is. Question, though, what is that icon that reads "Cleaner?"

its a task killer icon built into the launcher though i'd say its not as agressive as others but no hang ups on the latest version of the launcher. also forgot to mention this but it has the option to change your lockscreen aswell (doesn't rotate in landscape).
I've been using it for a while, there was recently an update for version 2.3, go check it out

So what's faster? This or LauncherPro? Also, which has the smallest memory footprint?
Try Nemus Launcher if you're looking for a launcher with light memory usage and smoothness and it's a pretty simple launcher to adjust to. The only thing you might dislike is lack of support for scrollable widgets. 360Launcher on the other hand is more eye candy than anything and only seems to work smoothly on more high end devices and I wouldn't recommend anyone with a low end device to use it, but it is packed with some pretty awesome features that made it more than just a gorgeous launcher. I stuck with it for everything it can do and it gets updated pretty often, within days and not weeks or months.
Is sexy gonna put this on my backup sidekick to see how i like it.
i like this laucher, its fast and fancy but still needs alot more themes and tweaks

Are there downsides of flashing stock android?

I don't like the UI of the mate 8 plus I'd like to use xposed, are there any downsides of flashing stock android on the device?
I'm mostly concerned with battery life.
Where did you find stock Android? Please provide the link

Maybe I was too optimistic, I thought you could flash it on any device but apparently not No mate 8 for me then...
how long have you been using Android phones to think that? Lol

Nice home screen, what kind of widgets are there? Android weather on top? I'm still waiting for my mate 8 while using my non rooted battery eating Xperia Z5 dual sim ?
using minima pro for live wallpapers, nova launcher with marshmallow system icons (huawei stock is meh) and to bring back the app drawer (huawei doesnt have one), deleted skin folder contents in /data to get rid of the huawei stock icon backgrounds. as for the widgets (from top to bottom):
Weather & Clock Widget
DroidStats
BetterBatteryStats
Greenify Hibernation Shortcut (although not really needed, since Huawei´s system management is already pretty aggressive)
Nova Launcher customized Dock and Folders
