Display UK post codes in waypoints list - iGo Primo - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Hy smart guys and everybody else!
Please help me to achieve this:
I use to search UK addresses by postcodes. When I enter more postcodes for my route, in order to make a delivery route with many stops, I need to display the UK post codes in my way-points list like this in Primo 1.1
37 The Highlands, HA8 5HD
or better
HA8 5HD, 37 The Highlands
Right now, if I search a UK address using the post code, I get only the address in my way-point list and the post code is not displayed, so I can't track them as I wish.
I need to track the route by postcodes, not by addresses (see the picture attached), so I really need this feature, please help me with this.
I know there must be some *.ini file that must be modified, but I don't know which one to edit and what code to add.
Cheers mates! I'm looking forward for a quick answer from a very smart guy, I know you are some on this forum.
p.s. By the way, I have bought some "Penguins"

need help with very small program for myself.. plz help

im trying to get a very very small program runnint, however im very lost when it comes to programming windows mobile device, i have a database online, and i want a small dialog box to show up on my wm device and alow me to type something in , then it search the online database.. and return the information, or even just take me to where the online listing is, that's all no bells or whistles.. could someone help me with this please?
i have even added a search feature to my database, soo i just basically want this little program to relay text to that search feature, then take me to it.. so i don't have to go to all these links and whatnot
Well,
it is quite hard to advice you anything without actually knowing about the file structure / database format. Maybe the easiest way would be to simply set up a search option online as a WAP2.0 page - if you don't want others to access this section, simply password protect it.
If you really have a need to generate the 'search string' offline (which I just can't understand since you want to be taken to your DB online) then simply use something which generates the search string for you.
For example you could have a "results.php" online which simply needs the search terms 'attached' in order to list you all relevant records. Now, the question remains how the database is structured. If you have 2 fields in your database, containing firstname and lastname, then it would be simple. You would need only something that adds your search terms to the string and then navigates to your server. For example you search for SMITH as lastname, it would have to transfer the string as followed:
www.mysite.com/results.php?lastname=smith
For sure your results.php needs to be programmed first!
However,
this has nothing to do with your device, you better join a programmer forum - in this case I would suggest you look for web development forums since this can be done entirely on the server side!

Adding cities to HTC Weather

I want to add more cities to the HTC weather in Touch viva. Therefore i edited the files HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml with the city info. When i replace this file in the \Windows\ , the city names show up, but the info is not getting updated?
Please help me. what could be wrong?
same problem with Fuze
I did the same thing using the recommended Weather Database Editor, but new weather info wouldn't post.
Please advise.
Drjim : are you getting the new cities in your list first? I simply edited the HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml and put it back into the \Windows directory.
Is there anything extra to be done??
follow-up on weather
Yes, I get the new cities in my list. I didn't know there was a "first" and second step. I just changed the city code using this template: NAM|US\CA\GREENBRAE (where I live) in Weather Editor.
I don't know anything about editing as you indicate. Can you clarify? Where do I do this edit and how?
Maybe we can figure this out together.
weather probems
I have the same issue with my city. The weather app sends a requests to an international version of the accuweather.com website. If that site supports your city you can get weather info for your city. I have not yet been able to get the weather app working. Hope some of the senior members on this site are able to help you.
Regards.
Take a look at my thread on the elf forum. There's a detailed break down of steps involved. It should lead you in the right direction. The instructions are for adding a city in Kazakhstan.....make sure you get the corresponding code for your city from the accu weather website. And you should be good to go.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=451001
good info, but more questions
I will try your method for changing and see how it works.
What if I want to add several new cities. Please explain.
Thanks.
You can add as many cities as you want provided it shows up on the accuweather website. You need to code for every city which you will find from the website. You pick this up from the url once you have navigated to the page that shows the forceast for that city. Ex:
http://www.accuweather.com/world-index-forecast.asp?partner=accuweather&traveler=0&loccode=EUR|SE|SW015|STOCKHOLM
That's the code for Stockholm, Sweden. Likewise, pull up the code of the city you'd like to add and enter it into the HH_0409_Weathercities.xml file along with the other info. Make sue you leave all the other lines of code intact while doing so.
drjim : Is the problem solved now? I was able to finally get the additional cities working. Thanks to N2A' s post.
But the method i followed was somewhat different. I was not able to locate the "HTCHome.dll" file in \Windows in my HTC Touch Viva. Therefore as mentioned in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2780103, i had to edit
the Manila2D.exe file from the \Windows and along with the update of HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml i was finally
able to get weather updates for my city.
This forum is great!!

Solution: reveal / show unknown / withheld caller's phone number

Please read all of the following -
I have set-up a service that will reveal the phone number of any prank caller / someone who withholds their phone number.
It does cost me to do this so obviously I can't reveal how it works (against the community posting rules here)
I am and this service is UK based and perfectly legal (obviously!)
At the moment, a google search will reveal that nobody else can do this anywhere.....
WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR...
I am looking for 5-10 volunteers to test the service and give feedback - Ideally regular contributors/members who have been on this site for a while
Please note that I won't be able to reply to everyone!
It won't cost you anything other than maybe 1 inclusive minute!
HOW THE TEST WILL WORK...
You must be UK based
You simply use any phone to ring a unique UK based number that I will give you - making sure you withhold your number. I will contact you with the actual number you called from.
This is classed as a standard UK based mobile number and will only come out of your free minutes. If you have any doubts, it's simple - move on, I'm not here to con anyone, and I know that I am a new user etc... but follow your instincts - if in doubt...move on!
IF YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER...
Send me a private message, a quick note about who you are and to confirm that you are UK based! I will forward you the details you need. At the moment, the service takes a number of hours to work - eventually this will be instant. I won't be able to respond to everyone!
WHY AM I POSTING HERE...
Because I was sick of nobody being able to tell me who was pranking me with a private / withheld number - in the end I had to change my phone number. I scoured the web - and there wasn't a solution - so I created one.
Like I said, the testing part is free - and I can't reveal how it works because it does cost me to reveal a withheld / private number and rules here prevent me from charging people for a service
SO...
If you meet the criteria above, and want to test the service and provide some feedback in this thread, please contact me.
Otherwise, I welcome any other constructive comments and I will attempt to respond! - don't ask me how it works - read above to see why!
hi how can I get this so I know who is calling me with held. interested in knowing
Ho how can u assist you to know who is calling with eld
