does anyone know how to take a screenshot in temple run?? - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

every app i have tried does not work with temple run, does anyone know how to do it???

DDMS will most likely work. You'll need to install the android SDK:
http://developer.android.com/guide/developing/debugging/ddms.html

This app/program will take screenshots when at your pc. It also has some other useful functions.

anything that i can use my phone?? like hold the power button and have the ability to take a screen shot?? im using VB ROM

most of what I found probably wont work. You might try screenshot it tho it has a function that will take a picture if you yell at your phone iirc.

You might try Screenshot UX

I usually use 'Shoot Me', but it kills a lot of RAM. Not sure it can run in parallel to Temple Run.
P.S - Don't you want to capture a movie of the run?

[app] [sms notification] keylights

Notice * all credit goes to TheJza over at sdx
This was an app my wife used on her moment to flash the lights across the bottom. I could have sworn that I tried it when i first bought my evo and it didn't work. Well I tried again today and tada!
The reason behind needing it is that I can't see the led from across the room even with the wimax notifier. Now it gets my attention.
I have not tested the affect on battery yet. Or what roms it works with. Im on evokings shift need for speed rom now and it works. Please test and feedback.

I think the links there are bad but read up on it if you like.

The apk is here.
I just tested it on my wifes shift rooted with a stock rom and it works. sooo thats
2.3.3 shift rom on the evo (Evokings need for speed and misfits speedy)
2.1 shift rom on the shift
CM7 on the Shift
Evervolv on The Shift
CM7 evo but I couldn't clear them. They keep blinking
Fresh 3.5 (closest thing to stock on my SD)
Unable to install on cm7. I'm sure it needs updated to gb

I don't think its gingerbread related. The shift rom is 2.3.3. Try sending yourself a text but make sure you have the screen off or the box checked for screen on. Also cup your hands around the keys if its bright out as they are not bright. I have mine set to flash and thought it didn't work just now. Also have mine set to timeout after 1 hour.
I just tried it out on misfits speedy odex rom and it works ... thx for this!

Cool, thanks. Let me know what comes up. What seems to be a problem, what seems to be broken, how the GUI looks.
if anyone knows how to disable the power saver feature, so that your screen and keyboard don't get all dark once you hit 15 or 10% battery, and also so that you can still use your camera at 10% battery, I think it would be cool. not sure if this power saver annoys other people or not, lol, but there were ROMs for the Epic 4G that had this tweak, but I never found out how it was done.
Your skype version doesn't work properly. The advance features crash the app. Also just a sidenote the skype is for gingerbread not froyo so that's probably why

It's good for your first rom I've had a few androids now and for not being a heavy developer it is good. yeah, same here, constant force close loop, with only about 2 or 3 seconds to try and do anything in-between force closes.
Thanks for the feedback guys! From now on, I'm going to leave this ROM but I may come back to it in the future for whatever reason. For now on, please use the latest version of GenericGinger, which at the time of this post is 3.4 BETA. Thanks!

Stability and battery

Lol I feel dumb asking this since I've been around here for awhile but I'm getting a new phone and my mom is gonna use mine. I really wish people would understand to see how a rom preforms you need to use it for more than a couple hours. Hell even a couple of days. The first day will be spent with the user messing with it to figure out all the settings. Once you are back to normal and not looking for all the new features the battery will stabilize and start lasting longer.

You may have a valid point, but thelgow said nothing about battery life being the reason for going back to vahalla final. I try ROMs for only a couple hours at a time regularly. I switch back simply because I prefer the look and feel of what I was already using. Once I find one that looks and feels better to me, then I'll give it an extended run and see how it works in my situation.

I understand this. There have been so many posts from people that post this kind of thing that is not helpful, off-topic, and honestly is rude its getting frustrating. You can not get a real feel of how the roms perform in a couple hours. I guarantee you that. There might be a setting that you over looked in your initial scan of the features. Even tho people claim you dont have to give the rom break in time. You do have to give YOURSELF break in time on the rom. Battery life, setting for themes, tweaks like notification toggles, and other things are all dependent on the person using the phone. If you flash a rom install your most used apps and never look into cutomizing the phone phone you will probably get longer battery. But if you are looking for a theme for the theme engine and a launcher theme you will have less battery. Plus if you are swapping themes several times at some point you need to reboot the phone for certain things to change properly.
TL;DR? A couple hours tinkering with a rom is not long enough to make a decision. Plain and simple.
