[Q] Ask about flash rom

now my phone is 7408 (i cancel update before it up to 7720)
1. how can i update to 7720 with unlock without flash new rom
and

First question: What device do you have?
Second question: By "with unlock" do you just mean Chevron unlock, official Dev unlock, or Interop unlock? The instructions for the first and third are device-specific, but flashing an official ROM will always remove them. For the second, just unlock your phone again using the WP7 device registration tool.
As for unlocking a locked phone that is already on Mango (and that you don't want to roll back), there are a few options for dev unlock:
Buy a marketplace dev account from MS ($100).
Get a free marketplace dev account through DreamSpark (intended for students).
Put a CustClear.provxml file in the \Windows\ folder (must be done prior to upgrading), upgrade to Mango *WITHOUT* the latest HTC update (if you flash a ROM instead of upgrading in place, that file will be removed), and run Connection Setup.
Wait "a few weeks" until ChevronWP7 Labs is available, and pay the $9 for them to unlock your phone.
Note that if your phone is an HTC phone, as it seems, you need to be very wary of the latest HTC update or you won't be able to Interop-unlock at all, and the unofficial ways to Dev-unlock will mostly stop working. Don't install that update until you're fully unlocked. Even then, you'll lose access to the filesystem and registry DLLs.

[Q] Pls help, need interop unlock for my HTC Titan preload Mango

Guys, i'm new here just wanna figure out some points so i need expert like you guys able to help me (sorry to post in this forums as i'm new and not allowed to post in dev forums)
I'm in Thailand buying 1st windowsphone HTC Titan (should be UK release). I'm done chevron unlock for few weeks now, but cant find any benefit from it until now (i cant sideload any app)
1. How actually i can sideload app that has no needed interop unlock capabilities (what i need to install in my phone or desktop to sideload it) as i try some apps that said it needed no interop but it fails
2. How can i interop unlock my phone (my firmware is 7220)? as i see more difficualty than all of you guys, as i run my HTC connection and it's tell me that "the carrier is not existed in database......" so i think i cant use this way to interop my phone.
3. I wanna check out whether i fully unlocked by chevron or not? how can i know it is unlock? (the only app that i can sideload is Heatcliff's HTCINTEROPUNLOCK xap)
Please help i also dont understand MS in my country not support my language at all, may be because the piracy in my country is terribly high, but i'm not that kind of. I'm always support any developer that develop good applications for me and i'm also bought a lot of apps in my Iphone, Thinkpad tablet and my Blackberry. So thing for my HTC TITAN is that i just need it to support my language and Thai Keyboard, if it has to be charged i'll still willing. I like windowsphone now and want it to unleash it's full function for me

[Q] Hard Reset required for Chevron unlock?

Okay, I still haven't Chevron Unlocked and wanted to know if we have to do a hard reset BEFORE unlocking? Does the phone get reset when unlocking? Or does it remain as it was except for the fact that its now unlocked?
Also can the sideloading limit be removed? I have read several posts on removing the sideload limit but just wanted to know if anyone has actually done that themselves? And do we need a TOM XAP INSTALLER type program to install apps such as those which still have the DRM?

No , you dont have to reset at all to be Chevron Unlocked . Its super painless . Phone remains as it was , but unlocked .
Sideload limit can be removed , but it involves going a step further and Interop Unlocking the device . Chevron Unlock is still required for that . Interop Unlock is available on MOST devices , but not all . So that depends .
You dont NEED Toms XAP Installer or anything , but for convenience , I use Phone7Deployer . I like being able to simply double click a xap file to install it .

Additional question. Once it is developer unlocked, and the phone stays in its current condition, then one might want to backup the phone apps.
Is it possible to sideways retrieve xaps from the device if Marketplace apps were installed on the device?

You mean the XAPs and the app data stored n the phone? LIke the data about your game scores?
I doubt thats possible although i would like to do that myself.
And another question: I may sell my phone in the future, so i'll have to provide the buyer with the Chevron unlock code. Should i make a new Live account for buying the unlock code? because i dont want the buyer accesing my private email if i give him access to it for unlocking purposes

Unlocking HTC Radar WP7.5 Mango

I need to unlock my HTC Radar which is with WP 7.5 Mango OS version: 7.10.7740.16. I read a lot of posts and can not find solution. I wait till ChevronWP7 labs provide unlock tokens again. Yesterday I buy token follow the procedure and I receive message that my phone is unlocked. After that I try to use Tom XAP installer to install some Apps on my phone but it didn't work it says that my device is not unlocked. After that I try do deploy an Apps buy SDK tools: Application Deployment but again I receive an error that is listed here in the forums. I have to check if my device is unlocked or not but I am not quite sure how to do that. I start Windows Phone Developer Registration and it says that I am already registered and give me option to Unregistered is that mean I am with unlocked phone ? I want do deploy some apps to my phone please help. I read some treads here that says for my phone still not possible to unlock the phone because use driversv2 is this true or I just can not find the way to unlock my phone ? Also whit this ChevronWP7 unlocker how much apps I can deploy ?

You might have to interop unlock your phone. I'm just guessing her but it's worth a shot.

Actually I just installed with Tom XAP installer this app: BatteryStatus4.1.xap in the tread says devive unlock without interop I think this means that my device is unlocked but not interop ?
Please suggest me what can I do to install more apps. I need to install Bulgarian keyboard I try but it can not install the XAP file also I want to install wi fi and Bluetooth fast switches, I need navigation program too and I see Navigon that may be will work fine.

Interop unlock will only be needed for some homebrew apps. You should be able to install other apps without interop unlock.
I think second Gen phones like Radar cannot be interop unlocked as of now.

I dont know what interop-unlock means or what are the difference with dev unlocked. My device is locked. I would like to install applications like those I see here on the forums. One year ago, when I unlocked my device, pre-mango, I used Tom Xap Installer to do so.

Okay, then you need dev-unlock. There is only two ways for stock ROMs on the HTC phones and one of those is temporarily unavailable (that one being buying ChevronWP tokens that allow you to unlock; they are out of tokens from MS so unless you bought one you have to wait).
The other one is sign-up with MS App Hub and pay $99/yr unless you are a student (then you can get it for free but takes a little proof you are a student). This is the only way for a Mango Stock ROM.
Now, if your HTC Trophy is NOT Verizon, there are custom ROMs and methods to flash your phone with an unlocked custom ROM, but this wipes your phone and takes a little know-how.
This is a quick summary and there are many details on all of this in various threads (and many of them). But in summary, if you want to keep your Stock ROM/Phone, the only way right now is sign up for App Hub at MS or wait for ChevronWP Labs to get more tokens.

Is still one more way - downgrade your SPL and install RSPL/HSPL and install the fully unlocked costom ROM for your device.

3. Custom ROMs for Trophy: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=812 select one and install, when you get bored you can install other ROM from that forum chapter.
