No need to worry. All MIUI roms have higher battery drain. If you are worried so much about the battery then you shouldnt be flashing these roms . Revert back to stock rom or any other custom rom which gives a decent battery life. Check the development thread. U'l find many.

i flashed cm7.2 rc5.5 directly over gingerbread 2.3.4
it seems smooth and stuff but many apps fc that didnt happen in gb
the ddtk3 seems to be very stable and stuff
so which one is better? im not THAT much into customizability so cm isnt really a must
which one will give better battery back up and stability?
performance of the 2.3.4 was enough more or less enough for me
thanks
Eu prefer DDKT3 (2.3.6). Este stabil si rapid.
DDKT3 Very Stable and Smooth
Or u can try this..flash cm7 rc5.5 over ddkt3..cm is the best customized rom n runs smooth on our phones..pretty stable as well
Oh I also tried the new cm7.2 rc0 by vish and that was very smooth too but the problem is that they keep getting updated very frequently and getting my data deleted after every install is tiresome. And also ddtk3 didn't seem that smooth on my phone
Even after rooting it using rajrocks deoxed thing it's quite slow and laggy. Maybe because cm is just faster or what I dont know. Help!

Cm 7 rc0 by vish is the best bcz its made from source..may be u shud reinstall cm..it doesn't happen to me

look, if dont want sett all time new update etc etc, just put ddkt3, root it, u can also put deodexed update from raj, but not necessary, and put v6 supercharger ad leave phone alone. u should get 2 days battery life .

In my opinion, ics rom made for our phone is very slow. cm7 is the fastest. Best rom for gaming will be eclair and froyo. If you wanna play games on roms with open fimg drivers, many games will not work because it has some issues with it. You will have to use cf3d in some cases which is highly frustrating. So stay on cm7 if u dont play games much.
Yeah but cm7 camera is crap

In my opinion to directly answer your question
Kyorarom Serenity has the latest updates and a bit more features
Kisadworx for a bit more performance (no lag at least when scrolling through apps)
If you use alternative launcher go for Kyorarom Serenity
Mpics V2 is relly fast and stable.
Now im testing AOKP and its great and has a lot of features and with the new Build (build 3 realeasd today) you can change the Themes like CM7
AOKP
AOKP by Rubensollie is by far the fastest and with most functionalities.
Though while flashing an ICS Rom, you have to realize that expecting stability and speed as Cyanogenmod or being Lagfree as stockRom, is not worth.
best answer is try them and see which one suits you
the one thats out by icsforg3 is gud ....

You can try the new value pack (xxle4) but it's laggy or you can install a custom rom based on 2.3.6 there are on the development section they are very fast and bugfree
Sent from my GT-I9003 using XDA
Uhm, if you really don't want trouble AT ALL, and want the most stable thing ever on earth without the risk of any issue, stick to stock, if anything happens then the service center will help you.
If you don't mind the risk and possible small bugs, go to the development section, and chose one you like.
But most custom GB roms are actually faster than stock..
Mod of xxle4 is new so it's not cook yet. Just try Poseidon rom based of xxkpq

MIUI 10.5 is almost a daily driver. Didnt have any issues and it looks super cool.
poseidon's rom is good for regular activities
try flash value pack...
I used KPQ for long time, very stable. Now using AOKP. It's really nice and even though video recording does not work, i wouldn't go back to GB. Battery life is good too.

Where can I get MIUI 10.5 rom for gt i9003???
Just stay with stock DDLF2 for stable and best battery efficient ROM. Launcher is a bit laggy but fine.
Deodex it and flash " Jelly Bread " theme for DDLF2 which is simillar to JB.
Look at this.

best rom
ya there is a rom gamerz rom,no problem, best quality.
i am using stock kpq now .
i have tried jelly bean , ics , and kitkat available for gt i9003. but i found that all of them are not stable versions. And also if you are ready to take risk i will opt you kitkat which i found more stable than all other costom rom that i have used. but when you use kitkat goole apps will be limited and also there is a problem of hanging your system will . i say its better you to stick with stock rom :good:

Hi, I'm new to this device as a friend gave it to me. I've read a lot about flashing, stock and custom roms but I can't see a stable custom rom. As far as I've understood ICS and up roms are still not stable enough, so I may go for a GB rom but don't know what.
BTW if I go to a stock rom is there a way to maintain CWM or would I have to flash it again after flashing stock?
Best & stable Gingerbread rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1440284
Follow the instructions carefully.
Good luck!

Probably this is a best solution for this moment I'm using this rom. Easy to install and easy to use. I'ts smooth quick and solid on my SG I9003 SCL
Thanks for your recommendations but any of that roms have worked 'cause I'm having this problem. I've installed Bam's Custom Kernel and 4ext convertor script and I'm able to get /data working, so then I flash any of that custom roms but I'm stuck again on bootloops.
this one also very good

GB ROM: The Frankenstein Mod is very good(no bugs and a lot of bloatware removed). I used it for many months and then switched to Alpha 5.
Jelly Bean: Dhiru's Alpha 5
The best of all roms for the SL cleaner faster and 4.2.2!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2299301&page=82
Try the new 4.2.2 ROM from master Dirhu with Kernel 3.0
It has some few bugs at the moment but it is working very very smoothly (better than a sock one). My phone is like a new one with this ROM.
It comes with Cyanogenmod 10.1
