You can find talk.apk in this forum, just use google or search. I was download from this forum, but i forgot the link
You can try flashing fkz using rsd lite to get back to original 2.3.5 rom then ota update to 2.3.6

App won't update or install.

OK, well I have searched and cannot find a solution for my problem. Long story short bought a phone on craigslist, it had a version of ICS on it, Unknown on the version.
Problem: Phone will not download any new apps, or update any apps. When I click download and install.
It will pop up say downloading status bar, then immediately says download is unsuccessful and the status bar goes away.
Goal would to be to have my apps install and update correctly.
Flashed it to stock gingerbread version off this site. Under the software for skyrocket.
I have cleared cache on phone and restarted several times with no success.
Settings apps market clear cache and all that jazz

That link is to a thread with stock GB (2.3.5 and 2.3.6) as well as ICS 4.0.3 firmware (Odin tar links and CWM flashable zip links). Read through it... lots of good info.

Thanks for your help.

Your going to want to do some research, if you upgrade via fxz I believe you have no safe way to get back to GB....
However...
If you upgrade to leak 1 via jimbridgmans method there is a safe way to get back....
After deciding which method to use, install atrix bootstrap and pick your ROM... I say bootstrap cause its the most supported...
Good luck and enjoy....

If your phone is not from AT&T, and you install the upgrade that Pzyduck upload, you won't be able to downgrade to GB.

Roll back to stock GB from stock ICS OTA updated. tested MB865 Asia retail.

I update mi atrix 2 thru OTA toICS ICS.
AND now I have 100% succesfully downgraded frm ICS 2
GB without breaking the handset.
Step to roll back to GB
1. Backup your Data.
2. Download RSDlite 5.6 or latest from link given below
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1348587
3. Download stock rom from below link.
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/edison/list.php
4. I am from India. I use Asia retail version. zip files startin wth 5 s GB nd startin wth 6 s ICS.
select Ur ROM wise.
5. go 2 youtube search 4 "How to Flash Atrix 2 to
stock using RSDlite" ths show how 2 flash.
6. U ar done. thts it.
TESTED INDIAN ROM. ONLY FOE MB865. DONT USE OR ME865.
Good to see you took the risk! good one bro!
life!
Last time i did that and i end up with hard brick Atrix2 :crying:

download and install BMM from gplay and hv a look at the dev section.....
First warning: don't flash 2.3 fxz or any other fxz not for AT&T or you'll have a brick
Now we just care about BMM, don't install other recoveries
If you are on 4.0.4 official, just go to PS and install BMM (Boot Menu Manager), usage is around

If your phone is not at n t then u can flash any other fxz except at n t fxz..India version is SEARET..u can find the link in the atrix firmware thread

Be careful of what version of FXZ you flash if your phone has previously update to ICS you may brick your phone, search the forums for the correct version, but if i were you would stick to flash stock ICS with RSD to be in the safe side.
Got d file from droid developera site....... Ty all
