Hi!
I would like to edit android roms and maybe develope my own ROM, so is there somewhere any tutorial or guide for that. I used search but didn't find anything. Thanks.

Developing custom roms?

Hey guys I posted something bout this but no one answered I'm looking for a developer that cpuld show me what tools I need to be able to create a custom rom for the g2x because I want to share my creativity and mabye learn a few things so can anyone tell me what tools I need or have a tutorial thanks

hello,
i just have a mobile and new to android.
my mobile have this software :
2.3.4
kernel ver. 2.6.32.9
software ver. lg-l95g-v10c_final
its not have arabic lang.
So i want to update to another soft.

its seems that may help but i dont know from where to start and how
plz if there is a post to start update and what i have to do ,also is that post belong to my mobile??

You need to install clockwork mod recovery and install the zip linked in the post through the recovery. Don't forget to wipe first

Need help for getting ics

Hey guys
My friend has a galaxy fit and she wants to install ics on her phone and she asked me to do it. I am a galaxy r user and familiar with rooting and stuff. I checked out the forum but i am not sure what works best here.
So i request you if someone could direct me to the best working ICS rom here? And also to a thread that guides ms to install custom recovery on this device.

There's no stable ics for galaxy fit yet..
camera and few more stuff doesn't work.
AOKP 4 is currently the smoothest one. wait for few days for aokp 5
Follow this guide for everything you need for your(her) fit..

Help installing a ROM?

First of all, I am a noob when it comes to Android in general. So please forgive me if I posted in the wrong section of the forum or I didn't give enough information. now we got that out of the way...
Hello, I recently picked up the Pantech Burst from AT&T. It's a nice phone that's running Android Version 2.3.5. I rooted it within two weeks of getting it.
Because I rooted it, I want to now install a custom ROM. I've tried to follow some tutorials, but none of them seemed to help me. Each one I looked at told me to download ROM Manager and use the Clockworkflash Mod. When I tried to use it, it asked me to confirm my device on the list. However, my device wasn't on the list. I couldn't seem to find anything here, either. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1487576
Is there anyway to do this without using this specific tool? Are there any alternatives?
A few more questions..
How do I know which ROM I can use on my phone?
Does it only matter which Android Version i'm using, and not the specific device?
Can somebody please introduce me to some good ROMs?
