I am using smartbeat supremacy v 3.1 on inspire 4g when I try to use voice search or voice to text it tells me audio problem. Please help.

Well, beside of poor battery performance on Desire S. I can't find the voice dial function. Does anyone know how to use voice dial with Desire S ?

I just switched back from thundershed to sense because I couldn't get voice to text to work well in a moving car or other place with noisy background.
It was suggested that some other keyboard might help. Is it true that the voice to text function is affected by the keyboard? I thought it was a native android process only activated by the keyboard? Does each keyboard have its own voice to text algorithm?
In sense I use the same keyboard and voice to text works fine in my car. I thought I was using swiftkeyx but I am actually using smart keyboard.
I think its the rom. Ive only had good voice 2 text with sense or desensed roms, not aosp. You can try an aftermarket voice recog app from market if you really want aosp.

From what I can see those apps only work with their own sms app and i use google.voice for sms.
I also use v to t in emails.

I'm running Liquid Gingerbread 3.2 and LeanKernel 6.1.0 and voice to text is working fine for me. Did you try flashing another kernel.
Most keyboards don't have their own voice to text. Some might but none that I know of.
I'm using the same kernel as you are. It's best for bluetooth which i also need. Can you talk to text in a moving car?
I have done some searching and haven't found any results so thought I would put it to the masses...
I am looking for a stock theme dialer without the visual voice mail button as I don't have that service.
I was able to find one when running MHX GB superlite 3.1 that only required to be flashed in cwm but haven't been able to find one for the ULCE2 leak.
If anyone has come across one or is able to modify the current dialer let me know
I have included a screenshot of what I am hoping to find.

+1000 Internets if someone can let that vvm button ask me for a default program, so I could say chose between att vvm or my personal favorite, Google voice.
