why is all my settings resetting? My screen timeout keeps going back to 15 seconds when i put it at 2 minutes. My camera settings keep resetting also. The shortcuts always get deleted and my picture settings keep resetting.

i have a Galaxy S 4g and cant find my laptop AdHoc wirless SSID, the phone just keep searching but cant find the AdHoc ESSID
my laptop OS is widnows 7 and my galaxy is in GB

This thread isn't in phone development and this thread is located in general discussion/questions and answers.so I can ask any question I want because its in question and answer also its in general discussion so some people would love to discuss some stuff.

The general section actually means general discussion of phones, not just any random thing you feel like talking about.
The oldest thread is probably some post by an admin outlining the rules of xda when it first started, or a post talking about what the site is for and what he wanted it to become.

The dev section is no place for questions. Also there is no best ROM for a individual user, so the question is subjective based on individual needs. Please take some time and read the posts in the dev section, that way you can make your own mind up which is best for your individual needs.

I discovered Android and obviously I do stupid things
Following mishandling, my tablet is blocked.
I wanted to install and test other "ROM" (as one can install an OS on a PC) but my tablet is not happy: p
Currently it normally lit but the WiFi and the touchscreen does not work.
It is well recognized by my PC but I can not validate the connection to the tablet (hs touch screen).
So I want a "ROM" compatible and the way to install it.
