Hi, I have Razodroid 1.0 on 2.3.4....I want to know if it possible to flash razodroid 3.0 directly over it without updating to 2.3.6
Yes you can flash v3 directly over v1 with baseband 2.3.4. But do wipe data before flashing v3. And its better if you flash it on 2.3.6. Why dont you have v2.3.6?
Press THANKS if i helped you
Thanks for the quick reply.....I changed to razodroid 1.0 and was pretty happy with it so i din't bother to change to 2.3.6....but now i wanna try out the new ui on 3.0..btw is 2.3.6 better in anyway? i read reviews saying it was not good...IS it advisable to change to 2.3.6 before flashing?
Yes 2.3.6 is better. If u want to upgrade to 2.3.6 then download DDKT3 firmware not DDKT1. . Razodroid v3 will give u better performance on DDKT3 2.3.6 than 2.3.4. Happy flashing
Press THANKS if i helped you
By the way I have DDKQ5......I should still be able to change to 2.3.6 right? One last thing all my games can be backed up and retrieved using Titanium Back up pro right?
Yes u can flash DDKT3 on DDKQ5. And do a batch backup of all your apps.
Press THANKS if i helped you
My opinion, ddkq5 is better than ddkt3 (not in looks though)...
And I flashed v3 on kq5, so no problem with that...

Isn't kpq as a base before proceed to Poseidon rom? I already flash Poseidon rom with kpu but when u dial *#1234#, the baseband is unknown
Sent from my GT-I9003 using XDA
Yes its based on XXKPQ but i tired it with KPU before coz i read that its better w/ KPU.
EDIT- but if you encountered some bugs repeat the method til XXKPQ then flash poseidon.

Because standard rom is clubbed with lots of applications which are useless and not only take your space but ram too.....most of the custom roms are stripped version and available only after rooting...which will help you to get 'administrative' rights as in case of windows PC.
so you can even decide initial start up !!!!
the design of the stock rom makes me flash it again..

I do it just for a change and to try out different features and looks, that custom ROMs provide. JMHO
Is der a way to go back to gingerbread rom from jellybean?
Plz mention the steps if any
U can flash stock based custom roms (like Razodroid) via CWM recovery.
However, to go back to Official Stock Gingerbread, u need pc & odin.exe along with that firmware file. For galaxy fit, the latest f/w is 2.3.6 DDKT3 & it's one package.
Hope this helps...!!!

I think if u want to go back to gingerbread from jellybean I recommended u to take back the stock rom..
because it fresh I think and it stock so can't be overclocked like the other custom rom
u can flash it via odin if u want to flash it to stock rom

hi guys.
I have problems when installing certain custom ROMS using CWM acording to the Baseband used.
Don't Know why, but when I wanted to install VURRUT KPU again (i had done it several times) Screen keeps on the first image of SAMSUNG SCL I9003 and nothing happens.
I tried to use another custom ROM based on LF2, and when I install it via CWM, it does the same thing, the only difference is that the phone reboots and comes back again to the same SAMSUNG screen.
My phone is galaxy SCL I9003L but i've never had problems installing those ROMs.. It's very strange.
Please if someone could explain me if there is a reason why it's happening this, tell me, i'm a bit scared, using Stock FROYO I9003LUBKB1.
Thanks
Because your'e still in FROYO. Upgrade it first to gingerbread. See my post. General Guide for noobies.

Oh so ur phone is i9003L!
I think u can try the qwerty Rom, as far as I remember once LoSco (rom dev) told that his rom can also be used for Argentine version of SL i.e; Galaxy SL i9003L.
To confirm, just ask in that thread once then go for flashing it if he says yes.
Hope this helps u.
