Need to go back to 2.1 EPE54B build

Im using cyanogen 6 RC2 and tried also RC1 and have major battery draining issues ive tried everything
At this point anyone know how I go back to the stock 2.1 EPE54B build (ATT 3G bands)?
Thanks for any assistance
your phone is rooted so all you need to do is look for a 2.1 Rom from your phone forum and then flash that Rom. This should take you back to 2.1
Also if you did a nandroid backup before you upgraded to 2.2 then you can boot into recovery and do a nanadroid restore to take you back to 2.1.
If you do not have a nanadroid back up then that is why we always advise to do a nanadroid backup before flashing any Roms....

I use titanium is that ok? Also do I need to flash the radio back to the older one or can I keep the froyo one?
EPE54B update zip should be ok from here right? Also if I do need to flash back the radio can I also use the files from here?

Ok titanium is ok, but before you flash back to 2.1 I would recommend a nandroid. A nandroid back up would restore your entire system/os just,in case u need to restore your system.
About the radio: you do not need to flash back the radio, this is not required.
Now you can use any of the stock 2.1 rom of your choice from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=744605
What I would have not ks this:
1.Titanium back up
2. Nandriod back
3.wipe data, factory reset, etc
4. Flash 2.1 rom
Reboot and u are back to 2.1 stock
Remember do not flash back the radio

Sorry for all the questions but I know with CM you need to also install google add ons for the market and maps and such. Is that also the case with this? Or since they are stock they automatically come with it?
NP. Anything that's stock will be included in the rom. It may not be the latest version but you will have an option to update once you lunch the market.
Also u,are doing a titanium backup so anything that's missing you can get back. Once you flash back u,can, check,to see if you have those apps, if u don't then just install and run titanium backup. You can run a restore operation to get all missing apps +data.

Thanks. Too bad I can't find the manual stock 2.2 in order to install it and try. On 2.1 I would get the Ota update request but it would fail saying invalid signature. Think it's cause of my recovery image.
Went to CM V5.0.8 and havnt had an issue since so there is a bug somewhere in 6 since a few other people are having similar issues as well

[Q] Question about Sensation

Hi everyone.I have HTC Sensation 2.3.4 with Android Revolution HD and i want to upgrade on 4.0.What should i do ?Because on the menu i dont have anywhere an update option like when it was stock.
if you want to upgrade to the stock ICS, you have to flash back a stock rom and update it through that. But If you're already rooted and already flashed a custom rom on it, why dont you find a 4.0 ICS rom and flash that?
Actually i have no idea.I hardly rooted alone through the steps from here(xda). Now about ICS,i have no idea.To be honnest i dont know what ICS means,so i dont know what to search.
ICS is 4.0. So did you root the phone or someone else? Do you know if they made a backup of your rom before you installed infected? Do you know if you have recovery installed?
I did it,with the help of this forum. Its about 3 months i did.If i remember well,no,i didnt backup the rom,but i remember something recovery instal.
Well if you have recovery, install your new rom from there. Follow the link below if you need instructions.

Thank you very much.Very kind.
no problem

custom recowery = stock rom.

custom rom installed on my device ... To return to Roman stock, stock rom before you install it necessary to go back recowery.? loading custom roms recoweryde stock? How?thks...
If you backed up your stock rom with your custom recovery then you can restore it as long as you have the correct firmware installed (gb vs. ics).
If you did not back up your stock rom then you can flash it via a PG58IMG and keep your custom recovery.
Heck, mike1986 even made stock ics flashables for custom recoveries...
You NEED a stock recovery and stock rom to perform OTA's...
I'm going to piggy back on this thread. Anyone have the stock recoveries available? I'm going to sell this phone soon and I know if I sell it with a custom recovery it's going to be a headache for someone.

[Q] Backup not starting

My htc desire s is htcdev unlocked.
I installed the fallout ics rom after rooting the phone. But before i had made a backup using CWM rcovery. when i had flashed the fallout rom i also flashed boot.img file [which came with the rom] separately as it did not boot without it. Now when i try to restore my backup all goes well but the phone does not start. htc logo comes and then after 5 seconds or so it turns off and recovery boots. I thought that this is a boot.img error. so i also flashed the boot.img file present in backup using adb. But still the same result. I cant use unstable builds as it is my daily phone so i would like to go back to the original htc 3.0 stock rom. Rooted preferably. Any ideas how i can do it. I cant find any stock flashable zip sense 3.0 and android 2.3.5 rom which was released last year. If anyone could upload it for me i would be very grateful of help out with my backup. I know its long but please help. Im stuck..
This thread has the flashable zip of the latest rooted stock ROM. I don't think the link in the first post works, but there is a 4shared mirror later in the thread.

Question :)

Hey guys, dont know if this is a silly question. I have an HTC one s (S3 model) and I was thinking about to root my phone and install a custom rom. If i am unhappy with the results and wish to go back to my stock rom can i do that?
Also if yes, is there a way to kind of save my current rom and reinstall it again if needed?
Thanks guys !
Once you are rooted and flash a custom recovery you can backup your current rom using the recovery. With that you could go back to using the stock rom if you did not like the new one you flashed. There are many roms out there though so don't get discouraged if the first one you try isn't what you were hoping for. There are always more out there to try including many based on the stock rom.
