InfernoSlotsFree - Android Apps and Games

This is my free version of InfernoSlots that I've recently created and released to the android market. The main reson for bringing it to XDA is for feedback and input.
Due to the size limit for XDA I can't upload the apk direct to this thread. The game can be found on the android market or through my dropbox link. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12834035/InfernoSlotsFree.apk
In no way I'm asking people to buy the full version. I would just like some honest feedback.

eBay App APK

Can someone please post the APK for the new official eBay app I cant find it in my market
Well, I can't post links since I'm a "new member," otherwise I'd help you out... but I can tell you if you go to androidcommunity . com and add /official-ebay-app-20100217 to the end, that should take you there.
I can't find it either which is highly annoying, searching for ebay on the Market just comes up with all the third-party apps. Just got my Desire the other day on Orange if that makes any difference.
Does anyone have the APK?
I second the above, being a Aussie I have no access through the official means of getting the eBay application. Can anyone provide a .apk for everyone outside US?
The eBay is only available for the US market (.com) at the moment. Same issue with the Amazon app
Hi does that mean that if I got hold of the apk I could use it to access my .co.uk account or that it is only available on the US market (or even both)?
Would really appreciate it if someone from US would upload it so I can test.
here it goes, enjoy: http://bit.ly/dqyfYO
Thx a lot!!!
Thanks for posting the app!
Seems to be working fine for HTC Desire, 2.1 stock in Norway
Thanks heaps for putting this up, been chasing it for a while
Thanks for that one mate! You rock.
If you are looking for a good eBay app that has support for lots of Country's why not try out "Pkt Auctions eBay" you can find it on the market place
Ebay browser launcher
you could also try googling "ebay_mobile_30519.apk" which is a browser launcher
I have uploaded the last version of official ebay application on:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HZ1P3YSA
enjoy it.

Nice, really nice! Thx..
Afraid of apk files
I'm sorry but it's not dangerous to install such content from an unknown source?
I also want to install this application but it's scares me that the apk file have been manipulated.
Especially software related to buying and selling.
What is the original size of this software when downloading it through the market?
How to make sure that the software is safe?
is the antivirus that we can find on the market can be used effectively for finding viruses or spyware in apk files?
sorry for my english..
Does anyone has the latest version please? thank you
can someone upload this to hotfile?
thanks,
you guys just need to download the market enabler from the market..
then fake the SIM to Verizon, and your market will look totally different....
btw.. i'm from malaysia....

[APP] My first app on Android Market (NumberFun)

Greetings,
I've just published my first app on the market. So I'm trying to get a little exposure
NumberFun is a brain excercise using basic math equations. Here is a link to my blog which has a screen shot and instructions in the app's introduction post.
http://jrdevapps.blogspot.com
It's on the market for $0.99
Back in mid development stage, I posted a question about how to get debugging to work with the ViewSonic GTablet I bought using Eclipse for development. Got a lot of good tips and help, but unfortunately never was able to debug on it.
But alas, I did get the app developed and test on several devices. Works great!
Anyway, I would greatly appreciate any takers
Thanks very much in advance.
I think that your first app should be free...
Hmmmm...
That wasn't quite the response I was looking for.
But thanks for giving me a peek anyway.
You may be right, but I couldn't see putting this out there for free with the amount of time I put into it. There was quite a learning curve (unfamiliar development environment, SDK, never had a device before this, etc).
I agree, you would probably expect a first app to be something quite simple and under the above conditions, maybe not put together very well. But, if I do say so myself, I think I did an excellent job for a first try. At least no testing has had any force closings ...and I've tested the h... out of it.
Anyway, I appreciate the input.
I agree, at least for a time being. Since it is your first app you are most likely looking for feedback on what you did well, what not so well, and what to change so your next app is infinitely better right out of the box. You are more likely to get that feedback if your app is accessible. I'm not saying this because I want your app free, just trying to be helpful
Ok...I AM new to this, and maybe I should have considered that. I'm afraid I can't undo it now.
But don't let the fact of it being my first one scare you away. It really does work well.
Thanks for the advice.
Maybe you can publish a "lite" version with lesser features so that your users can get a feel of the game. I believe it might also lead to more people buying the paid version. Just a suggestion
Sent from my GT-I5801 using XDA App
You may be on to something. But, that would at the very least be a challenge to find a way to take functionality out of it.
Let me think on it
OK...It's now free on the market
I've listened to the replies about making the first app a free one. Also, Further testing with other people have given me ideas on better functionality. Consequently, I've put in several improvements and just published the free version (NumberFun Lite).
The original NumberFun has been upgraded with those improvements PLUS more!
So feel free to give it a try. If you like it, please give some feedback on the Android Market.
Thanks to all for your replies.
Has anyone tried this??
I'm just wondering if anyone from this forum has given the game a try.
I appreciated the responses I got when I first started this thread. Bitter tasting advice was given out as I was not prepared to modify the app for a free version.
But, I heeded what was being said and came out with a free version as well as a better paid version.
So now they're out there. Yes there have been 50 to 100 downloads of the free version...but I'm not getting ANY feedback besides one comment from a co-worker
I'm only asking that if you have tried NumberFun Lite, to please leave some feedback (either here or on the Android Market). And If you haven't...Why not
Not a bad game, but better graphics and sound effects would be nice
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
I thinks that I will try it in my HTC desire.
Thanks for your great work.
Hey enragedpaza,
Thank you for checking it out. The feedback is priceless!
Yes, better graphics is one area I'm now exploring. I've never used OpenGl before and I'm purging through tutorials on this.
Again...your input is greatly appreciated.
tanks vey much
very tanx much!!!!!:good::good:

[UPDATED 11-13][INFO] [1035+ APPS] Ultimate List of Tablet Apps - Updated regularly

If you guys like the site, please hit the Google Plus one button the top left corner of the site so I know
Tablified.com - [tab * li * fied] -verb. 1. apps that have been specifically made for Android tablets.
Well, after days of working on the site, its finally here. It's not perfect, but I think android tablet owner are going to enjoy this.
One of the biggest flaws with the Android Market is that there really isn't a dedicated section for tablet apps. Phone apps get thrown in the pile with tablet apps and its just impossible to find tablet SPECIFIC apps.
Many developers say their apps are "optimized" for tablets which, at first sounds great. But sadly, most of the time the app is just adjusted to fit better on a larger screen without adding any new features or tablet specific UI elements.
This is where Tablified.com comes in. Each app is tested to insure that it really is a tablet specific app. While I want to give credit to XDA and the Xoomforums for providing me with a list of apps, I found out that many of those apps aren't really tablet specific. There are currently over 50 apps on the site and more added every day. If you have an app, please use the "Submit an app" link on the site and let me know what the app is; if it meets the requirement, I'll add it to the list.
Tablified.com does NOT allow you to purchase the app. I simply links back to the Android market for you to complete the transaction. What I do is list up as many apps as I can find, after testing each one of course. I am very critical about which apps go up because I want users to only see tablet SPECIFIC apps-that's why games are currently not available. Until I see the same version of "Burn the rope" that's available on the iPad for Android tablets, you won't find it on my list-this goes for many other games.
We have a couple of people working on the site and are recruiting people to help. If you know how to use wordpress and would like to join the team, then please PM me. I apologize if there are any errors on the site. I did my best. If there are any errors, please leave a comment on the app and I will fix it ASAP.
We have big plans coming soon. Can't same much now, but I think its something to look forward to. Sorry for making this so long, but I hope everyone enjoys the site. Ads are there to help pay for the hosting-sorry, no ad-free version
Cool Site.. I love what you are doing with it. I'll be sure to keep this page in mind when browsing. Maybe set up an RSS feed when a new app is added so I can see it on Pulse.
MOTO XOOM.

Maybe I'm missing it, but a top downloaded section would be nice, maybe a top downloaded for the week, most popular list, etc. Or exporting the ratings from the market and displaying that.

thanks for your feedback. the only way that i can do a "top downloaded section" would be if people start voting on the site. this is accomplished by simply rating it using the stars icons . if you guys dont rate then i cant display the top rated app/game etc. I had a section for that kinda stuff but because the vote count was low and it didnt look pretty so it didnt seem worthwhile to keep it. so once you guys start voting then i can make a place for it. this is only the first month of the site being released so maybe next month ill put it in. in the mean time, you can scoll to the bottom on the homepage to see the most viewed app.
as for the rating, i dont think theres a way to do that. but each app has a widget at the bottom of the page that has the market link as well as the rating it received on the Android Market. if you guys like the app, simply rate it by pressing the stars just like you would on the official market.
please keep the suggestions coming.
WOW!!! Thanks s for creating this very cool site!
However, I miss "Locus""
Altough bookmarked your site!
Cheers

Although Lotus looks ok on tablets, its not a tablet specific nor tablet optimized app. You can find more detail about the requirements on the FAQ section.

Can't find any decent gallery app, anyone seen any with super fancy effects similar to the honeycomb Youtube app?
Its not tablets its Honeycomb
I was excited when I saw a posting about this thread until I actually went to the site. It really isn't a site listing apps designed for the larger, landscape real estate of a tablet but actually a site listing apps that are fully integrated for Android 3.0+ (Honeycomb) instead. There are plenty of tablets that run Android 2.1, 2.2 or 2.3 like the one I'm typing on right now. I would appreciate apps that are designed for a tablet as much as the nearest Xoom user.
Quite the disappointment :-(

Best icon packs

I Know there's TONS out there so we should just get a good collection of what we think is best.
Add links if possible!
-Around full
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...+pack&pcampaignid=APPU_ApKQU7_BO4mNyATn14CQDA
-Vibe

HTC ONE M8?
Thread closed.
If you link to something that is paid, or upload something that is paid on XDA. there must be a free version hosted on XDA as well.
The android full has an android lite version which is acceptable, but I can see any free version for Vibe. Also uploading the packs here would be against our warez policy.
Many thanks,
Ghost
