[App] Honeycomb Launcher PLUS

Hello,
We are making another update for Honeycomb Launcher. As many of you may know, it suddenly disappeared from the Android Market. But you can thanks Google for that... Anyways, we are going to upload it again because Google didnt like ICS not HCL.
In version V1.7.0.0 the launcher became alot smoother and a whole lot less FC's occured since we rebuilt the launcher. But now we want to make another update and we want to add more features/add ons. Now we are making a standard version and a PLUS version. I know some of you may not like this, but dont worry! HCL standard will remain the same and nothing will be taken out. HCL Plus (+) will have more to it such as add ons. But we are not sure what you all want!
We are wondering what "you" want in it! Such as pre installed apps, more wallpapers, and tweaks...
What do you want us to add? If you want your wallpaper to be in the launcher, just post it here and we will include it with your name so it shows as yours

Love the most recent version....
Most important thing is working "running apps"
After that:
Smoother home screen previews (I don't like the white)
Different transitions (I used go launcher for a long time because the the cube).
Love something different and unique like spb shell or Regina launcher.
I'm used to opening apps drawer on the bottom of the screen....its hard to reach my thumb to the top
Pinch previews
Unique Widgets?
Any good dark 3d wallpapers.
Ability to pin an app to running apps.
If I think of anything else ill let you know.

I like it, using a qHD device. The honeycomb digiatal clock is cut off at the date. Is that common?

Ya, but easy fix...
Just long click it then let go. Now drag the resizing handels around to resize.

not stable on galaxy S...always got fc.
i cant delete the icon on home.please moved the bin to the middle...the icon is not arrange correctly.and please improve the setting.
if you need the beta tester on galaxy S im willing to be one...

[ROM] DianXin Rom [Beta] [Port] [GB 2.3.7] [5/30/12]

DXROM (Dian Xin rom) is another Chinese ROM (similar to MIUI). I got bored and figured I would port it over to the Shift. My phone however isn't working anymore so I wasn't able to fix it 100% (check for issues below).

Looks like a flex cable. Keyboard works fine but the touchscreen only works if I open the keyboard slightly at an angle - really hard to get it working lol.

That sucks dude, we need you to have a Shift! Maybe I'll "lose" mine and send it to you . Anyway, ROM looks pretty cool, I'll give a try later when I can download.

I agree, why get an Android phone, only to make it look like an iPhone. What a shame

I dont see how any of them besides joyos are trying to be IOS? Because the default themes use grey gradients?

it's not the iphone look most people like it is the smoothness and customization of everyting and the sms app dialer etc.. i don't use the stock laucher so it's not iphoney at all..

My guess is that people who use these roms like IOS, but because of their carriers limited phone selection, or their economic status, cannot afford to buy a crapple device, therefore get a cheaper android phone and do their best to make it look like IOS, but yeah, to each their own.

Don't forget the iphone looking icons and a lot of them don't have app drawers.

It's using the kernel from 7.2 but a lot of the libs/ect are from Cyclonic.

What is the different between the two ?
And which one is more stable & have a better battery life for the HTC ONE S ?
And in MIUI v4 ICS Official Sense Based Will I gget the stock app for the camera?

Sense based is better for now! you have the stock camera app plus the AOSP modifications like themes on sense! very good battery life anyway

IMO, for now stick with the sense based. Lind has done an amazing job one the AOSP based MIUI but since it is based on CM9 and CM still have some issues on the ONE S, those issues apply also to Lind's port.
The Sense based version of MIUI retains the Stock camera app and the Sense Gallery. It's really stable, has awesome battery life and you can flash custom sense kernels.

ive been running the AOSP based one for about a week now and love it.
no problems at all with it. stacks of free ram with all my apps loaded back onto it and the battery is far better than any other roms i've tried

To me the sense based is perfect. It has the customization from AOSP and the awesome sense camera and is bugless (i think)

Think i'll give the sense based one a go later and report back

im not really sure. i was playing games for a while and texting quite alot but not sure of the time.
im always on and off my phone throughout the day (screen always at full brightness) and it lasts all day, no problems

i dont like to dig up old topics, but since this was the most recent i got out from search i will ask here:
what do you guys prefer at this time? im on aokp cm10 rom at the moment but looking for a change.
do both roms have the same features ? i cant decide on any one of these

I like sense based for the camera. However I can't get Wi-Fi to work so I'm not using it anymore. Good luck.

Even there are a bunch of other ROMs here at xda, i finally back at MIUI ICS Sense based.
It's just working without any problems, i love the features it has and gives me very good battery life.

Skin looks great...it is not skinning the battery icon, and signal bars though...is that to be part of it?

Let me start by complimenting for your great job.
I love the whole skin. It well thought and realised. Having said that, a few little things bother me.
Maybe its meant to be like that, and maybe its just not possible to incorporate them in a apk skin.
In the 4x4 weather widget, the 4 day forecast is not skinned.
It would be nice to have some statusbar icons for your skin to match.
And, as a last suggestion, sth i have never seen beeing done until now, maybe its time to skin the navigation bar as well.
Forgive my ignorance if my remarks seem stupid, i told you, i have no experience at this.
I will keep testing this skin for a few days, and if i have more, i will let you know.

those aren't controlled by the skin. I have a flash zip for them. if all goes good I'll make one for the sensation as well.

Oh yeah and the 7 is supposed to be blue. The theme is called se7en so I made that the only number that has color.

Please use RUU 3.33 as base. All mods here are based on old 3.32 base.

The nav bar is another thing that can't be edited without the unreleased vts.
The final one that I put on the market has a few updates in it. The pressed hight lights in the quick settings glow now. Not just a solid color.

Can someone post screen shots so I can see what signal bars your phone uses?

As I've just got a new phone, my DS isn't doing much right now. I'm not a fan of Sense either, but I'll join in testing if you need.

I would've loved to test this, but having a 2month old baby makes it a little difficult for me to get to my pc, in case I need to get a logcat.

I would be very interested in helping test this, I have heaps of time at the moment and am running out of ROMs to flash to fill that free time. I was never a fan of sense 3.x, but I really like sense 4.x.
My phone is s-off, running the latest testing build of 4ext recovery, hboot eng 7.00.

I didn't like sense when I got the phone, too laggy. But I have found that fallout was a nice sense rom.

Hi torxx! Thanks for supporting the Desire S with ViperRom! I'm currently using mytouch 4g slide as my primary development device but would love to use this with my good old Desire S for a daily rom.
And by the way if you're interested do you still accept developers in your group? If possible I would like to support development of this ROM on Desire S. Right now I don't have any projects with my Desire S but is currently providing unofficial patches and fixes with the virtuous infinity on the mytouch 4g slide forum so would really love to work again with my other device.
