I have not heard of the "official" update for DHD yet. Either way, just root ur phone & you'll have a choice of several ICS ROMS & please from now on post questions like this in the Q&A threads & welcome to XDA

1) You should have not opened a new thread on a over and over discussed issue. Inspire 4G is not getting the ICS update but DHD it is. That is due to ATT update policy.
2) Questions are meant to be in the Q&A section of the forum.
Please read and search before you go opening a new thread that has been discussed many times. Those are the rules you agreed to when you signed up.

Desire S Q&A
For all of your questions relating to the HTC Desire S
To answer your question HTC said on their top secret internal boards they were blocking the update in Cambodia. Reason was, you don't know how to read the description beneath forums.
HTC's official post regarding the blocking of the update to Cambodia.
ok so i have an htc desire dropped it and got the screen cracked (still works) got me a brand new one both are unbranded, s-offed and root with cwm touch recovery. i try both bcm cm9 ics rom and sandvolds both are great. but for some reason the old desire never has problems while the new one has issues with the roms. both pvt4 stock h-boot same radio etc. why is this so? im ready to give up my old desire but cant do so because evrything force closes or freezes on my new desire. am i missing something?

First Welcome,
And I understand your question, but there really is no best ROM for your device or any other device it all comes down to the user. I suggest you do some homework, in reading thru you device forums and then read again. Not saying your not capable of understanding just reading and doing the homework before hand, will help you from bricking your device.
It is all up to you on what you chose for your device. My thought is read this guide before you start on your Flash, Thank You and thread closed.

Hey guys,
I have the latest official OTA Update for my HTC One S on Bell.
Version 1.84.666.9
Sense 4.0 instead of 4.1 tmobile version
Android 4.0.3
I do not have the possibility to change the Recent apps button.
I would like to stay on stock rom just to avoid flashing rom updates and deal with glitches.
Should I just wait it out for jellybean or should I change my CID to something else?
Help would be appreciated!
Thanks

What you should do is follow forum rules and post in the right section if you want your question answered. DEVELOPMENT FORUM IS NOT FOR Q&A. THAT'S WHAT THE Q&A SECTION IS FOR! (shocking i know )
Moved To Q&A
I really dont think any more needs to be said.
Realized it just after I posted it and I couldnt find my post anymore.
Sorry bout that!
Can delete this thread.. It's here twice!

1] What do you mean by ROOT?
2] Why should i root my HTC Desire S?
3] What do you mean by S-OFF and S-ON?
4] If i installed custom ROM, can i still re-use or revert it to the default ROM?
5] What ROM / HTC Sense Version / Android Version should i install in my HTC Desire S?
============
HTC Desire S info:
Android Version
2.3.5
HTC Sense Version
3.0
Model number
HTC Desire S S510e
Thanks a lot!
Looks like you need to read more and post less. All the info is out there, and Google is a good guide.
One general guideline, though: until you understand what things are and what they're good for, don't touch your phone.
READ all the guides/tutorials and you'll have your answers

If you don`t want to be a noob read more and ask less.
Go to Index thread. Close this. Thanks.
no permissions
I wanted to post a bug in the development section in the MIUIzero Rom thread. I guess i don't have enough posts or something like that. Could anybody give me the permissions or do I have to create 10 more or less useless posts elsewhere?
Well, you could try finding 10 useful things to say... Please... Or don't post in the dev section at all; that limit is there for a reason, not just to force you to make 10 useless posts...
