Try swapping in cards bavk to stock and flash the kernel again! And u must have a zip file so that recovery can recognize it!!

Isn't miui based on cm? You could also push it via adb to /emmc

Check the rom for recovery thread in dev section. It will flash you back to gb 2.3.3 OTA
I have bricked my phone multiple times and that method always saves my phone.

U should place the zip file in the root of sd card don't place it in any folder, when u enter recovery mode press update from sd card then u can see the zip file just press that it will take few min then reboot the phone..after rooting make sure to have nandroid backup of ur device for future use..

Make sure your sd card is formatted to Fat32. You'll lose the ability to transfer >4gb files.

Just download "GooManager" from the Play Store. Press your menu button and select "Install Open Recovery Script" and the latest TWRP will install.

OK. Did you format your SD card / partition your SD card anytime? Try to backup your SD card and then format your SD card once again and copy the zip back from the PC to SD and try flashing
