Just got a Galaxy s 4g..... Us Cellular....... - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

I been on the search on how to root my Galaxy s 4g from Us Cellular called the Aviator... (Brand New... Only been out for a week.)
The thing is that USCC is CDMA but their 4g network must be GSM. I don't know if this is a hybrid of CDMA and GSM together or what. (<------ Don't know if that is relevant but tossed it in.) Cant find much on the phone yet....
Anyway my question is the steps to root and flash the same as the T-Mobile sgs4g?
I have tried several different ways and all have been unsuccessful and nothing seemed to work. All that I tried were Software based rooting programs. Super One Click was the most recent and failed.

You need to check the model number under the battery and tell us what it says before we can give you proper advice.

Its the SCH-R930.....

We can't help you in this forum. This is for the SGH-T959V.

For future reference, it appears the name of the phone is Galaxy S Aviator (Samsung Stealth). Your phone is VERY new. Give it some time and you will likely find develpment for it before long.

Galaxy Note GT-N7000 internet access problems

Hi all, I bought about 3 weeks ago an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 international version that came from Germany. It came with Gingerbread and I updated to ICS and there was a ROM update too. I did this with Kies.
The problem is that when I insert my GSM chip from my carrier there's no internet access or it is very sluggish. It's not a problem with the carrier because the configuration is fine, plus the same GSM chip in a Samsung 5500 works fine with internet. Will reverting back to Gingerbread and previous ROM fix the issue or should I return the phone? Thanks for any feedback.
Have you tried to reprogram the phone with # something. I forgot the rest. I'll be right back, I'm going to look it up

If you are running verizon. go to phone and put in #228. Don't if you are with a different provider. That's the only method I can think of :\
Thanks megaghostgamer, looking forward to your suggestion
You're Welcome
Just to be sure, you are running verizon right?

[Completed] need help with galaxy s4 after towelroot

I'm new at rooting and searched and searched but couldn't find any answers for some questions I have. I apologize in advance as I know you guys get a million questions most of which are the same. I have an att galaxy s4 and I used towelroot to gain root. Afterwards I tried to install a custom recovery and tried both cwm and the other one (team win something or other) and both installed fine but neither would give me an option to backup anything up. Now when I try to boot into recovery it doesn't give me any options anymore it goes straight to the android logo and says downloading but nothing happens as I let it sit for a very long time and it does nothing. Then if I try and mess with any other buttons it says trying to install a custom Os can cause damage press volume down to cancel. Which I do because there isn't any other option... what am I doing wrong? Anyone with some help would be appreciated thanks in advance

6.0.1 Verizon S6 on T-Mobile?

Hey guys, so I recently found myself the owner of a Verizon S6 that my dad found on the bus when he was out near Delaware. I thought it would be an awesome addition and that I'd be able to use it on T-Mobile, I've done it before, why not on the S6? Well, for some reason unlike the Verizon S3 and S5 I've used with my T-Mobile Sim, the S6 has been very stubborn. I've tried researching online but have found mixed answers. From what I've read since the posts were kind've old, the S6 could easily be switched to T-Mobile when it was on Lollipop with a simple tweak of the APN settings. Since the marshmallow update was pretty recent, I've tried time and time again with all of T-Mobile's APN's and I simply cannot get it to work. Does anyone have any insight on this? Is it simply because its on 6.0.1?
Some info on what happens:
When I insert the SIM and power on, it simply says "This is not a Verizon Sim" with no service whatsoever and "Emergency Calls Only"
Any changing of the APN has no effect, switching between LTE/CDMA, LTE/GSM/UTMS, and GLOBAL does nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!

Are you rooted? If not how am I able to downgrade? Is it the usual ODIN method?
On MM no Root, I just put the Sim card in and added APN. Maybe the phone is blocked reported lost?

Is it possible for phones to go by different model names?

I tried looking everywhere but other than through Walmart site I can not find 'anything' relating to my phone.
The phone in question is the Alcatel Zip Lte model # A577VL.
Is there anyone that knows anything regard this? And in relating to rooting it is there a special method that is just invisible to my searching?

Not much information is out there in regards to your phone other than specs and what not.
However, you could attempt to root your phone using one click root apps : https://techonation.com/root-android-without-pc-computer/
Always remember to backup and follow the instructions to the point. If anything goes wrong, I am not responsible.
Enjoy!
I have this phone too, and one-tap roots don't work.
