Verizon Visual Voicemail - Verizon Droid Charge

I followed the directions to upgrade to the FP1 debloated ROM, but have lost visual voicemail in the process. It's not on the market and I can't find anywhere to download it that has a valid link. Can anyone help me?
EDIT:
For anyone else with this problem here's how I solved:
* CWM Flash Stock ROM
* Use Titanium Backup to backup VVM and the VVM Service (Don't forget to get the service as well).
* CWM Flash the ROM you are hoping to use that didn't include VVM initially.
* Use Titanium Backup to recover VVM and VVM Service.
Enjoy!

Glad you found the solution, but another may be go to Tweak 2.0, download the stock APKs that DW took out, download the empty CWM file, move the VVM apk in there and then flash in CWM

Can I get help with these files?

I need some info if someone has the time to help me. I am using Titanium Backup and it reports since I installed a new rom that the following files are no longer installed on my Droid and for some reason they are not backed up even though I backup regularly. Talkback.apk, Kickback.apk, Soundback.apk, System Updater 2.1 update 1.apk, and Alarm Clock 2.1 update 1.apk. It also showed that Sound Recorder was not installed but I was able to find, download and install that file just fine. I just need to find the others so I can download them. Can anyone point me to them or send them to me? Don't worry about the Titanium issue I just threw that in to let you know what was going on. Can someone please help me get t files. I have found no help anywhere else.

[APP] Fix for VVM on AOSP Roms

I have been trying to get VVM to work on an AOSP rom (Evervolv) and came across a fix that Duvalbmarley posted. I had to take one extra step to get it to work by sending the "[email protected]" message from the voice mail application. For those of you that want to try it, here is a step by step for what I did, similar to Marley's post... all credit to Marley!
1. Copy a VVM apk to your SD card. Make sure you use an apk and not a zip file from a Sense rom. I have attached the apk that I pulled from the zip file that worked for me.
2. Have a Sense rom and AOSP. I have been running both Myn and Evervolv so I have them both. You can either flash them fresh or install them from a nand backup.
3. Using the Sense rom, make sure your VVM is working. I think it's helpful to send yourself a message from another phone to confirm it's working.
4. Once verified, run a Titanium Backup of the voice mail application. Since VVM is pre-installed in most (all?) sense ROMs, Titanium Backup will only backup the data.
5. Either nand backup or flash your AOSP rom. Whichever you do, make sure you don't have a copy of VVM already installed.
6. Find VVM apk on your sd card and install it using a program like "File Manager" or "Astro" file manager.
7. Got to Titanium Backup and restore Voice Mail. It should give you the "restore data" only.
8. Open up VVM. If you didn't delete your test email, you should see it in your voice mail list.
9. (This step may not be necessary for everyone, but I had to do it.) In the VVM program menu, compose a short message (couple seconds) and in the "to" box type "[email protected]" and choose send.
10. Leave another voice mail for yourself from another phone and confirm that it works!
You will continue to get the "9016" text message, but you should be able to eliminate that by running an alternative messaging app like Handcent and blacklisting that number. Make sure you turn off notifications in the stock messaging app, or the 9016 will continue to show up.
Worked perfect on the latest CM7 nightly
Has anyone gotten sprint visual voicemail working without the titanium back up step? Can we get it working without re flashing a previous rom and backing up the vmm data then flashing again the cm7 rom? Thanks

I found that after you do it once it works for future rom updates if you don't wipe full.

Yea, it worked on cm6 as well... cm7 is a whole new ballgame.
work perfect !!! CM 7 RC1 Thanks!!!
Thanks for this, I missed this when I switched to Cyanogenmod from Sense. On CM 6.1.2 all I had to do was install it & it instantly grabbed my messages. I had data already backed up but didn't restore it. I'll thank you properly when I get on a computer.
Your welcome! Glad it worked!
Big thanks to you. worked on my CM7 wimax build 11.
thank you. Worked on CM7
thanks for the instructions!!! Now my voicemail work perfect in CM7 Build 8
I constantly get a data error message. It won't even allow me to send the activation message. It files it under the undelievered category.
this worked like a charm, thanks!!
I was having the mandatory update problem, and then getting a general failure. I suspect that when another update comes out, i may have to go through the process again. But I was reading another thread about needing the sprint installer apk to make the voicemail update work. I dont know. But mine works perfectly for now!

CM7 and Verizon VVM T-bolt

I was reading the CM7 thread and there was a post that said someone has VVM working on CM7 they just needed to use a older APK. Can that person or someone post the APK that works for them on CM7?
Thanks, I searched the entire 451 pages for anything to do with VVM.
taken from another thread using search
I got vvm working in cm7 by doing this:
1. nandroid my current build (uninstall vvm if you already have it installed)
2. flashed a stock rooted ruu stock 2.2 rom
3. verified vvm was working
4. install/download titanium backup
5. backed up vvm + data
6. restored my nanroid from step 1
7. restored vvm + data
8. volia

I was unable to verify that it worked as the RUU stock rom is not compatible with the MR2.5 radio update.. I'll see what happens in just a bit as I keep my fingers crossed during this restore of CM7 with the new backup app+data!

[Help] CM7 / Titanium Backup

Can someone please help me with flashing a new CM nightly, (I am on build 167), and what I want to do is:
1. Flash it, obviously
2. Backup my current apps and settings
3. After flashing it, restore those apps/settings
4. So that after flashing a new build, I have everything set up as though I just updated stuff, no wipe.
Can someone supply a step-by-step guide on this process? Thanks!

Its pretty easy, follow the instructions on the cyanogenmod forum for your device. Best way is through ROM Manager paid version. It'll let you download the latest CM7 nightly. Before flashing, use titanium backup to batch backup all user apps + data. No need to backup system data because you will not and should not restore system data after flashing to a new rom, it can lead to problems. Only restore user apps and their data.

[APP] App2zip [Make a flashable zip of all your apps and their data!]

Greetings!
**Standard Disclaimer applies here: If you screw up your device trying to follow the steps in this thread, it's not my fault. The second you unlocked your bootloader, you took full responsibility for what happens to your device.**
First, I want to thank SCDevs and xdaid for putting this app out and for continuing development and support. The original thread can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1561729
The app can also be downloaded for free in the Play Store here: http://goo.gl/Zmzmh
May I suggest that you support development of this app by buying the Donate version here: http://goo.gl/SVtyl
What does this app do? This app will make a flashable update.zip of all your apps and their data, /including system apps if you so choose, for you to flash after you complete a full wipe and flash a new rom.
While it is understood that Titanium backup can restore all your apps and data and take a relatively short amount of time to do its job, this app makes it a bit more convenient by allowing you to just flash a zip and be done with it.
Enjoy the app.
I found a bug with the restoration of 2 apps.
Chrome browser
Quickpic
Both apps had to be uninstalled and.reinstalled for them to function. Just a heads up.

The stock sense mms.apk? Idk I haven't tried that. Haven't used a pure stock sensation Rom since last July. I'm guessing no since stock is gb and sense 4.0 is ics. You can try it tho. If you want to save your messages just use.sms backup and restore in the Play Store. It's a free app and has always worked for me.
On a side note, I know the stock ics mms.apk DOES work on sense 4.0. I'm using it on OrDroid right now.
Hope that helped. Lmk if I didn't answer your question.

Wait a second... I get it. You can do the backup and restore from one messaging app to another, you just have to use sms backup and restore or a similar app.

Weird. Ok so the way around that is to grab the update-binary from a rom that doesn't use aroma installer (I used aokp when I tested this) and overwrite the one found in data/data/scdev-app2zip/files then make your backup zip. I know that will work.
