[APP][1.6+]Breath Health Tester: An innovative app testing your breathing rate - Android Apps and Games

[What is it?]
Can you imagine an app can test your breathing rate? Breath Health Tester appears! It can help users test the breathing rate, degree of evenness of breathing and also calculate the estimated heart rate.
[How does it work?]
The principle of this app is based on the air flow produced when breathing out. Users should keep the microphone closed to nose and then when breathing out, the air flow will reach to mic and make big sound. When breathing in, since there is no air flow out, the mic will receive little sound.
[How to use it?]
In order to reach to the accurate result, users should follow these steps. Step 1: before starting the app, find a silent place. Step 2: Keep the phone close to your nose, make sure the air flow can reach to the mic. Step 3: press start button, and begin to test. Since the respiratory rate may vary according to the different states such as running, sleeping, the standard we choose is the calm state. So be sure to keep calm before testing.
Hope you enjoy it!

[APP] SC2M - Bluetooth Proximity Alarm! Testers needed! [Poll added]

Hello everyone!
SC2M (Stay Close 2 Me) is an alarm app based on proximity using BT.
More info and screenshots can be found here.
Basically, this app fires an alarm when the selected BT device goes out of range.
This has many uses like preventing phone theft and monitoring another (your kid's, maybe)
BT device. The idea of this app came following an incidence in which I forgot my
phone at one of those security posts at the entrance of the mall. lucky for me the
lady behind me in line was honest enough to chase me and bring it back.
It's a good thing to have when you're out on a trip or in public places and afraid
to loose your phone.
It works on Android 2.0+ and requires your phone to be rooted. So, if you qualify
the requirements - give it a go! and leave feadback here. This version (attached) is
based on a trial valid for a week. Follow the link above for info on a special price
for XDA members.
Thanks!
Benny.
Added poll.
so how exactly does this work. will my bluetooth headset go off or what?
It works by monitoring the BT device you select. Once it goes out of range, an alarm will go off, notifying you that something's wrong. There's more info here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=958827
I need this for windows mobile. Anyone seen it?
Can you write an inverse version of this? So everybody in a large office building can install it, and a bluetooth based alarm goes off on your phone if you are within 5-10m distance of someone else in the building - allowing easy maintenance of social distancing, even around corners and through walls?

[APP] Ambitivity - an ambient noise machine

Ambitivity allows you to mix and match 15 high-quality ambient noises to create a relaxing background noise of your choice, and drown out any unwanted noises. It aids work, relaxation, and sleep, and can be highly effective if you allow it to be.
You can find it here: https:// play.google. com/store/apps/details?id=com.appsent.ambitivity (remove spaces)
I originally made this app for myself to aid in working on other apps, but I figured other people could use it, too. I'd be ecstatic if you gave it a try!
Thank you!
sounds good to me (literally....)
but, the settings are not coming up, no matter what I do or how I hold the phone/
is there a way to save a certain setup?
like the source combination & the loudness of each source?
other than that, not a bad start!

[APP][2.3+] Hypoxic

Hello, folks!
I'm developer of Hypoxic, an app to provide controlled breathing exercises with possibility to track and measure progress in doing exercises (with using a bluetooth heart monitor HxM™ Zephyr.).
You can download app here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lanius.kenoma.free
This app zeroed in on hypoxic training, which means adaptation to body's deprivation of adequate oxygen supply. The idea of hypoxic training comes from swimming where sportsmen simulate limiting oxygen intake for improving their performance. During hypoxic training body begins to adapt to the lower levels of oxygen by producing more red blood cells in order to use more of the oxygen from the air that you breathe in. It has positive consequences for state of health, physical performance and mood.
So, if you have questions, feedback, bug reports, feature requests, etc, please, feel free to post!

[APP][4.2+] Pace Control - new app for runners

Hello, everyone!
I would like to share the news about the new app called Pace Control. It is written for runners to help them improve their training and race times. I am quite active amateur runner (I regularly run 4-5 days a week) and I found it difficult to find the app meeting my expectations, I decided to write the app myself. I have run with it for almost a year (of course not the same version) and I believe it's time to share the app with other runners.
---
KNOW AND CONTROL YOUR PACE.
Would you like to improve the quality of your training and run exactly as fast as you should?
During a race do you think you run quite slow while in fact you start too fast and you are too tired later to finish in planned time?
Would you like to run with negative split strategy, but you find it too difficult to calculate and check split times?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you will probably be a happy Pace Control app user!
MAIN FEATURES:
Reliable pace information - pace calculation algorithm optimized to handle gps signal in a way which results in stable and reliable readings.
Finish time prediction - calculation of estimated finish time based on distance already achieved and current pace.
Shadow runner - tracking race progress vs a virtual runner running a race in a predefined time and with predefined strategy.
Negative split - improve your results by running with negative split strategy (start slower and gradually speed up).
Voice feedback - no need to look at your phone to get information, you will hear the messages read to you in your headphones.
Map - you can see the track you run on the map.
Save to GPX - tracks you run with the app can be saved to a gpx file, so they can be imported to external tools or sites for analysis.
APP HOMEPAGE: http://pacecontrol.pbksoft.com
USER MANUAL: http://pacecontrol.pbksoft.com/manual.html
GOOGLE PLAY: http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pbksoft.pacecontrol
FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/pacecontrolapp
TWITTER: https://twitter.com/pacecontrolapp
Support for miles added!
Version 1.3 with map is available. Try it!
There is a version 1.4 available. Why don't you download it?
Pace Control app has just achieved 1000 downloads!
Version 1.5 is out!
Change list:
• improvements of voice feedback
- you can decide whether to hear standard messages or more informal but shorter ones.
- when some other app is playing music when a voice feedback message is to be played, Pace Control can ask the app to either lower volume or pause the playback completely.
- possibility to decide whether to hear extended message after each kilometer/mile.
- support for Australian English voice.
• some minor changes
Version 1.6 is already available. You can now export your workouts to external running services (Endomondo is the first one supported). The app also has a German translation.
Can you make the app ding with two separate notes for fast pace/slow pace with a user setting for how far off pace the dings happen?
E.g. App Settings:
Above Pace Ding
woahh.mp3 (user selectable)
Above Pace Cutoff
5 seconds (user selectable)
Below Pace Ding:
fireundermyass.mp3 (user selectable)
Below Pace Cutoff:
10 seconds (user selectable)

Thanks for your suggestion. It took a while to respond, but I was working very hard on adding the workout history and now (should be releasing in the nearest days) history export/import.
Could you, please, help me understand better how you want to use the feature you proposed? I always run with voice feedback turned on, so I usually don't have problems with correcting my pace, because I receive messages every 200 meters (or 1/8 mile). The feature would bring benefit in case you are off the desired pace very much - in this case you would probably receive a "ding" sooner. Do I understand correctly?
Hello, runners!
Pace Control is still alive. Version 1.8 with remote race functionality is ready for beta testing. Remote race lets you run a race against another runner who can be far far away from you. You run at the same time and you both have real-time feedback, so you know how fast the opponent runs. Learn more about remote race at http://pacecontrol.pbksoft.com/remote-race.html.
To become a beta tester, please, register at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.pbksoft.pacecontrol. Send all your bug reports, requests, feedback etc. to [email protected].
Notes:
1. Beta version may contain bugs (this is why we test it, to find these bugs right?). We advise not to start experimenting with beta version right before you plan to use the app during some important running event.
2. But don't be afraid too much! We believe that you will find the remote race so enjoyable that it is worth to take a risk and try that beta!
3. Remote race requires sending information about the progress of your run to the server so that your opponent can access this information. Your location is not sent to the server, only the information about how fast you run is stored there (as well as some basic information about the race). App's privacy policy available on our web page will be updated accordingly to reflect this when beta test is finished.
good
try it and good!
Remote race is considered stable and is available in regular version of Pace Control to be downloaded from Google Play. Try it, it's worth it.
You can read more at: http://pacecontrol.pbksoft.com/remote-race.html
Version 1.9.0 which presents more detailed stats about workouts is available. Anyone interested in trying this version and sharing thoughts?
You can try 1.9.2. Even more stats and an option to prevent accidental clicks during workout are available.
In the meantime I released 1.9.3 with GDPR compliance (affects users from European Economic Area) and I started working on adding charts to workout summary screen. I hope you will enjoy these changes.
Merry Xmas to all users!
In the meantime I just want to let you know that Pace Control 1.9.4 has very nice graphs. Why don't you try it?
And, of course, I strongly recommend to try remote race functionality which gives you a lot of fun and I have not found anything similar in any other app. To learn more, please, read: https://pacecontrol.pbksoft.com/remote-race.html
Anyone from Greece here? Greek translation added!
Looks well, new version is good
Thanks.

Hi y'all, here what I have for you guys to have a try.
This app utilized the fundamental hardware features of a mobile phone, offer users an alternative way to diagnose, or understand them. If you’re just simply bored, this free app can kill some time for you.
It’s very easy to understand and use, with 11 mini games for diagnosis. What you need is to play, then get the report and have some fun.
List of featured diagnostic games:
Touchscreen - drag, drag, and drag, overcome obstacles, send the 'rabbit' out of the tunnel, if you succeed----I am pretty sure the touch function is fine, but if you fail, well maybe the task itself can be challenging isn't it?
Display - it's for pixels, though you're just too busy reading and remembering those numbers, but it's always good to finish successfully:fingers-crossed:
Speaker - time to practice the listening skill, guess who made that sound! LOL
Microphone - there's a fish, who responded to your voice, I'll leave the rest for you to explore
Cameras - can this one be a 'avatar' creator? :victory:
Flashlight - tap to charge power, get full power to turn-on the flashlight
Vibrator - beating drum, follow the rhythm, feel it?
Volume keys - well, to be honest, this one beats me. If you have any idea making it into an actual game, tell me--- ya right, you could just say let's do 'volumn changing'
Gyroscope - it's the maze, see how fast you can get out. the effects will be improved after update using collision engine. so please bear with me for the edge overlap
Accelerometer - this one beats me too, frankly speaking soda bottle is my best guess so far, looking forward to hear your ideas
Proximity sensor - let's do 'throw and catch', but you need to 'hit' the little creature, and catch the ball that tossed to you. but how to catch? Why not go'n find out :silly:
This is the hyperlink for play store to install the 'Diagnostic Game'
you can also reach to the facebook homepage to share your opinions:
https://www.facebook.com/Diagnostic-Game-457981131199555/posts/
Please let me know if you spot any bugs or unwanted behavior, or would like me to optimize this app!
Cheers!
Guys, how do you think about this concept? There're definitely areas of improvement, no matter from tool or gameplay perspective, do u think this idea make sense?
To me, this Diagnostic game is more about a PoC---proof of concept for such style of tool-----you can also call it a game or featured game, with a different purpose.
One more thing, the new version is under developing, to enhance gameplay and make it more comfortable playing, reduce the complexity... ok I'll shut up
Hi Guys, we've launched a small event, please participate the survey and win yourself a small reward
Hi Guys, any suggestion is appreciated. We will offer award for participants
1: 3 for the novel concept but the mini games are not attractive to me
2: No crash
3: Suggest you to provide more feedback for users' operation. For example, while shaking the bottle, I have to stop frequently to check the status
