[Q] Hydrog3n ROM installing apps - General Questions and Answers

Hi
I flashed the Hydrog3n ROM today mainly for the customization tools for the status bar and drop down menu. It does look pretty good, however, since I am a NOOB I am struggling to install the google play market so I can install all my apps again. Anybody know how to do it and also, is it possible to install Titanium backup and restore apps + data rather than reinstalling everything from the market? I tried this once before but without any joy!
Any help would be gratefully received
Thanks..
P.S I also noticed it does not recognise my SD card, I am unable to see what is on the external SD from the root explorer on the ROM, even though there is data on it.

Here you go if its a gb rom -

I'm a noob, can you please explain how to install these apps? I have a Samsung galaxy s2, and i recently installed Hydrog3n. Thanks in advance.

Can I install my apps from my Samsung Captivate

I have installed CWM and TnT latest ROM installed Flash and gotten full market access. Is there a way to pull the apps from my Samsung Captivate running di11is ROM (Android 2.2.1 base). I have several games and other apps installed on it. I have backed it up using TiBu.
I was wondering if it was possible to copy them from my phone to my G Tablet?
You can try side-loading them. Backup your apps on Titanium Backup, put them on your microSD card, and transfer them to your G-Tablet.
Scott
no guarantee they will work tho
Yeah I figured that. I have done this using TiBu and some apps do work and some dont. Thanks for the advice.

[Q] Best way to start from "scratch" before flashing a new rom?

I'm on an OG Droid and am currently using CM7 RC4. I'm very happy with this rom, but I have been having issue after issue, no matter what rom I'm using.
I'd like to start fresh, clear my SD card, clear all app data, etc. and then reinstall my apps manually. I'm hoping that this will remove the possibility of something being corrupted or lingering on the card and affecting the current rom. So, I'm looking for suggestions on the best way to do this.
Also, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if they have been stable running GB on a Droid with CM7? I'm running LauncherPro, Lookout, Tasker and AlarmDroid, and they all seem to be fighting for memory and not able to work properly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
So far, I have:
Made Titanium backups
Made rom backups
Made a copy of my SD card
Erased SD card using the option under Settings...Storage
Copied the CM rom back to the SD card
Copied the clockworkmod directory back to the SD card
Also, I have a bunch of apps installed, and don't want them all reinstalled after I flash. Do I need to manually uninstall all of the apps I don't want upon boot, or is there an easier way to keep them from syncing?
I'm getting ready to flash the rom. I know I need to wipe data and wipe cache. What else?

[Q] HELP! Stock gingerbread 2.3.3 rooted no longer gets data connection

Hey guys,
I'm somewhat of a noob here but I'm having a problem. I've been using this rom on my G2x with no problems (more than the normal ones) for a few months. All of a sudden today, it restored all my preferences to default, made me go through the initial android set up screen, and I no longer have a data connection at all. It also deleted all my accounts (google, Facebook, etc). Upon restart each time, it keeps doing the same thing- deleting everything and resetting to default. All of my apps are still there and nothing seems wrong with them.
Also, I regularly make backups of my roms, but they are nowhere to be found (either with ROM manager or in recovery mode).
I haven't downloaded anything new recently and I don't think I did anything out of the ordinary.
Please help!! If I can't figure it out tonight or tomorrow I guess I'll have to reinstall the rom---which is fine, but I wonder if I'll get my data connection back...Do you guys think it'll work or should I figure out how to unroot my phone so I can send it back (don't really want to do this because I had problems rooting it originally).
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.
First, go to setting then privacy and disable the backup and restore settings. Then use a file manager to explore your internal and external SD cards to find the clockworkmod folder and see if there are any backups there. You might need to move them to the external SD card in order for the recovery to find them

[Q] Lost my phone! What apps can help me?

What apps besides plan b? can I use to help me recover?
and preferably wipe my sd card?
I was rooted
u can try wipe data
I assume you have android since you are rooted. Android lost from google play. It can be installed after you lost it and works great. There are lots of features like gps tracking, picture taking etc.

[HELP] 1+1 Bricked no Internal Storage & can´t restore backups or install roms

Hello guys,
I was trying Pure Nexus 7.0 with just a few common apps like poweramp, solid explorer, youtube, google keep, etc (no xposed or similar just root). After a reboot some apps that I use every day just totally disappear from app launcher or FC like poweramp and solid explorer.
So I decided to restore my previous backup (SlimSaber 6.0) but I start to get errors when trying to mount /system. Also I can´t access to my internal memory but I have fastboot working or seems so.
What can I do in order to restore my backup or just get my 1+1 back to life?
Thanks in advance.
