I've been poking around the build.prop file and I've found this...
Code:
# system props for telephony modules
#
#device supports LTE
ro.config.lte=true
#device supports EHRPD
#ro.config.ehrpd=true
#device supports simultaneous 1x voice + LTE
this was not edited by me in anyway and I also have this..

The chipset in the One S is the MSM8260A while the One XL has the MSM8960. They have the same CPU logic, but the 8260 lacks the inbuilt LTE radio. So, while the chipset is almost the same, there is absolutely no LTE radio in the One S.

Hi,
I've been having issues with my mobile provider - there's been a sudden increase in loss of connectivity (i.e Emergency Calls Only showing) when I'm at home.
One of the suggestions they made was to try switching to 2G Network Only when I'm at home because the 2G frequency has a better chance of penetrating my house walls etc and mean I am less likely to miss calls.
Is this true?
I've set a Tasker script to switch to 2G only when I'm connected to my home wifi ssid.
This is the end result:

They've confirmed that should work but can you xda experts provide me with verification/more info?
I'm concerned with call quality too - will 2G make any difference to call quality?
Anyone please tell me how to root my HCL Me Tab Connect 3g 2.0
The tab works fine except that it does not have Google Play Store and that it does not connects properly to the 3G networks (I have tried different networks at diff times at diff places... )
The Tab mentions it has UMTS 2100 (3G bandwidth for India), however I did not find this in Engineering Mode *#*#3646633#*#* (Heres a snapshot)

hello people,
I have a very serious problem in my company where the signal of 3G / 4G does not work well, but that's okay because it has wifi, but 2G works perfectly, there set up a profile when I'm in the company switch to 2G network. Great, works perfectly, ai did a profile to go back to 4G when I leave the company, and has no option to 4G, just 2G / 4G, see in the image:

With this I can not automate the function back to the 3G I have to go and turn on the 4G again. Well that Cyanogen could see that.
Download Link - 4G Only Network Mode
This Simple and Light-weight App opens advanced network options where preferred network options like "4G only mode" can be set.
Advanced Statistics about the device's Radio can also be viewed/modified.

Similar functionality can be achieved by using a USSD code in some devices, this app opens the settings in manufacturer independent way.
There are similar apps available, which work on the USSD code and full of unnecessary Advertisements.
Note - Works only on Qualcomm based devices
This is strange, overnight my phone lost LTE bands. Now only supports 7, 38, 42, 46 and 48. It used to support 1,3 etc. Now only 5G works for me.

What I have tried:
Did a flash using Odin.
Tried the guide to enable bands for s22 etc that's available on XDA
Did crossflash using Odin (g996u, different carriers)
Tried changing sim card
But now only 5G works
Is this a hardware issue, if not how to fix? Helppp
Can anybody tell me where the 4G antenna is located?
