I did a quick search and didn't find anything, everytime I plug my device into windows Firefox opens a tab for Motocast, a few seconds later it opens another 5 all to the same URL.

I recently Flashed GB and Valhalla. I can't seem to get the "Phone" icon on the home screen to show up to get to the dialer pad.
I have contacts - messaging - applications. Any fixes?
Is it in your app drawer? If it is, open the app drawer. Press on the menu key choose edit and drag the phone icon where u want it. Hit menu again then select "save". Let me know if it works.

No I don't see it in there.
Have you rebooted your phone? Maybe back everything up and do a factory data reset. That should fix it.

It's in there, unless you were unlucky enough to get a bad download.

Reset to factory and still nothing. Same 3 icons and it is still not in the app drawer

When I drag the phone option on the lock screen to open it..it just freezes, kills and reloads to the lock screen as well as the EDT slide function on the lock screen. The unlock slide works fine.
I would download the rom again and reflash

Fixed. Just re-downloaded the ROM and flashed it. Thanks!

Ish. Well now it just constantly resets and reloads itself ..the launcher.
Constant soft boots.

Bad download would give an error 6 in CWM.

not 100 percent accurate.. Depends on how there download program works or os depening n which one they are running some will actually make the whole archive granted its blank but all the files are there and it fills in the data as its downloaded even if it gets aborted prematurely it still thinks its complete when its not
Hello,
I recently noticed that the function where you drag left on a contact to message the contact is not working. If i drag right, it will call as it is suppose to, so it is just the messaging drag that isnt working. Now if I try it in the messaging screen, it will work fine. Anyone else experience this before? any suggestions?
Thanks,
what rom are you running?
this might be as simple as just pullin the battery out for about 10 seconds for a reset.

First off I hope this is the proper forum..
I'm running the latest version of CM7, and use the built in 'Car Home' app anytime I'm on the road.. The problem I'm having is that it takes several attempts to exit the app.. When it does my original home screen is slow to come back, and my calendar widgets need to be refreshed because they are all blank after exiting 'Car Home'. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything that can be done to fix it?
I've tried several other car apps but they all have speedometers and other things built in that I don't want or need.. I just really like how simple the CM7 app is..
Thanks..
Is your phone plugged in while you are in the car? I had a bad charger that would force my phone into car mode whenever I plugged it in.

A friend of mine had the same issue after using his Kindle charger on his phone.
Anyone else getting this?
Yes! I can confirm this! There is also a Google group for this. This seems to be caused by having a service enabled in settings under " usage help" eg tasker or talkback.

I am getting a similar behaviour to this. Running Drive on my Galaxy S4. If I open a Google Drive document via a link into the Google drive app it seems to start this behaviour. Basically, if I hover my finger near the screen or scroll then the phone vibrates. I can't find the 'Usage Help' service mentioned above. The only way I have found to stop the behaviour is to reboot the phone.
Any ideas?
I have always had stupid ads pop up on my phone every now and then. Didn't bother me much.
I did the upgrade the other day and now I'm getting these random pop ups, quite often. My phone will make a strange beep sound then vibrate. Then these pages pop up. I took screenshot of a couple & included them in here.
Are these real?? Should this be something I should be really concerned about?? How do I stop them??
I have a galaxy S6 verizon. It's stock everything. Never messed with this phone at all.
Those are completely fake, do not believe them. Just exit off the page. You can try clicking the 3 dots at the top, and checking "request desktop site" that might work to not have them show up, sometimes not though.

This, it also happens on PC so its not a virus. If need be just force close the browser. I hate click bait that just pops up this crud every time.
Go into Application Manager, scroll through the Downloaded section, and make sure there aren't any oddly named or suspicious apps installed. If you haven't installed anything then this shouldn't be a problem, but just as a precaution I would check
Download Samsung Brower and Samsung Browser ADBLOCK on Play store and be happy withot ads
Clear chrome's cache.
I've seen this multiple times before, and they even made my device vibrate really really loudly. Don't let this fool you, they are completely fake. Most of them won't let you exit out so you may have to mash the back button on your Galaxy S6, but that may take you a couple of pages back from where you left it. It's a complete hit-and-miss, but at least you'll get out of it.
