I'm looking for a cover that isn't too bulky but does a decent job of protecting the phone. Any suggestions?
I ordered this one, http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004Y2HUJO/ref=aw_d_iv_wireless?is=l&qid=1306963020&sr=8-48
I'll let you know how it is when I get the case.

I purchased the white version of this. My wife got the plad version.
Both have already began peeling the rubber like coating.
And it trapped an enormous amount of dust under the case.
When I took it off my phone got dust particles in the smallest crevices imaginable.
I would rate them a 1 out of 10

Go search for "g2x tpu" at Amazon and buy one of the 4-5 dollar ones. You wont regret it, its one of the best cases ive ever had.
This is in the wrong section BTW

Good day. I'm looking into screen protectors for the Infuse. Any recommendations?

I really like the Zagg invisible shield. Some people whine about the orange peel effect, but you cant even feel it. Sure, it adds some minor friction but only if you are pressing down hard, which you shouldnt be doing anyways. The phone can register light touches.
I think it works better than other protectors when it comes to scratch protection because its thicker and actually prevents scratches, where your average thin film of plastic just keeps dust away

I agree. Zagg Invisible Shield all the way. Accept no substitutes!

I'm rocking the ivisor AG. I got mine att store, maybe available at bestbuys and such. The price is $24.99 for just one protector but its well worth it. This particular protector is 100% anti-glare and anti-fingerprint and its removable and washable. So technically this one screen protector should out last your contract, providing you're not careless with your phone. Highly recommened.

Same here. Only thing is that to me it does take away "some" from the quality of the screen. but thats to be expected with the level of protection. by quality I mean the "crispness" (drawing blank on exact word) But would still recommend

Same here. I bought my infuse in early June, the chick at the store put it on for me, I first took it off about 3 weeks later and man...did my screen pop with color. It may take away from the crispness but its wayyy better than the screen protector on my iphone, felt like a projection tv

i would recommend the ivisor ag from moshi. i sell these in my store all day. they're 100% bubble free so anyone can remove and reapply at any time and there will still be absolutely no bubbles plus you can wash it what???? so sick...
the good thing about the invisible shield from zagg @ best buy (or where ever) is that is life time warranty but have you seen the process of that??? you have to send the screen protector back to them and pay for another one then they refund you later on. can you say ridiculous!!!
I bought screen protectors from Amazon.com 20 cents each... , Excellent, Very nice premium quality.
Ivisor bar none. Best screen protector I have ever had. I have washed it several times with soap an water works perfectly.

the shipping killed my order
I was really close to buying one but the $8 shipping killed it for me. For $30 there has to be a better solution. Also didn't help their sale was the fact that I already have a great case (ballistic) and have a 2A (max) usb car adapter.

well $27.94 to be exact =) i'll admit it did take it from an awesome deal to a really realy great deal. i had looked at these in the tmobile store and they were asking 59.99 i believe. At first i decided against the extra bulk and weight of it. The blaze is a small and light phone, and this case pretty much makes it not a "small and light phone" lol. 8mm thickness doesnt sound like much, but in reality it doubles the phone thickness and weight.
peronally, with the gorilla glass on the phones these days and the phone insurance from tmobile, i usually dont bother with cases, escpecially when they tend not to even include a belt clip or kickstand, but with the power outages from hurricane sandy recently, i had a change of opinion. for 27 dollars, even if i dont use it on my phone regularly, its akin to any other emergency supply one might want to have available in their household in case of emergencies.
just my somewhat hands-on review and my associated humble opinion of the product.
I just got one of these for my blaze, now i can go a full day without charging it! i did notice though that it gets kind of hot when charging the phone off of the powerskin.
Just ordered mine on Ebay. Does anyone know if you have to charge the stock battery separately, or you just plug it in and it charges both?
Thanks.

This phone doesn't have gorilla glass and is prone to scratching. A few posters here have been unfortunate to have put scratches on their phones.
Investing in a good case and screen protector is something I would recommend. If you have this case all you would need is a good screen protector.

It was good during the hurricane as a backup. For $20 quality is OK. If I paid more I would have returned it. Its a rubber case that fits over the top and shifts around. I thought it would have been a hard case or shell

Does anyone carry their Atrix 2 without a case? I have the Otterbox, and I do like it, but it bring so much bulk to it and makes it hard to do something as simple as putting it in my pocket etc...I've been going back and forth.
I don't have any case for my atrix simply cause i can't find one and the otterbox one will cost me around 50$
I'd keep the case on it. Better safe and bulky than sorry and broken.
I have the defender series otterbox and its saved my ass several times.

I use an extended battery, so it doesn't have a case. When I had/have the regular battery in, I use a Body Glove.
I ran an otter box commuter for a long time. After a year and many many drops (I work on a dock), the silicone is tearing and loosening. The plastic has cracked in a couple places. I still swear by them tho. I ran over my ATRIX 1 w the forklift. Visibly it looked fine but the digitizer was toast. Even the glass wasn't broken. Anyways. Long story short I love em. I stopped using a case tho once I went extended batt. If you're gonna rock the box, get one on eBay. Pay about half price.

Usу now my A2 without case, but this looks great.
Its very exepnsive to order somehing from amazon 4 me (live in Ukraine).
Try to find it in local internet stores.
Thank you anyway!
I use a white Ottebox Communter case for 6 months and planed to buy a defender case
My boyfriend used to keep the otterbox case on his A2, he ended up taking it off because of the bulk too... He's been fine without it for about a year now. Still looks new... I think he dropped it once. Haha.
90% of the time my A2 is in the Otterbox case I picked up at the $5 AT&T sale during...last summer? But since I do have a lapdock and the vehicle dock (and am going to be experimenting with a desk dock shortly) ... the case comes off. Thankfully, it's a pretty easy on and off, and I feel like the phone is very safe/protected when it is in the case.
To our Ukrainian friend...your best bet for cases may be something like eBay UK or eBay RU. Good luck!
I have used my atrix without a case for a while through now with a dinged up bezel I regret my choice to carry it naked.

I'm so upset I wanted to share my sob story. I have had my G3 for 13 days now (pre-ordered and picked up on launch day) and I just cracked the screen. Only about one third of the screen is responsive so the device is almost useless now.
I put a Spigen Slim Armor case on it before even walking out of Best Buy with it so it has been "protected" from day one. Spigen's slogan for the G3 Slim Armor is "Absolute Drop Protection", but that's apparently not true here. They advertise that the corners have an "air cushion", but it fell on the corner. I bent over and it fell out of my shirt pocket literally 2 feet above the floor.
LG can't give me a repair estimate without sending it in. The guy on the LG Chat said probably $150 or so, but there's no guarantee on that amount. I've seen replacement glass on Amazon for $56.99 without the LCD screen and then Repairs Universe has the glass/LCD combo only. They said that it's near impossible to replace just the glass without the LCD and not mess it up. That combo costs $175.
Does anyone have any guidance or know how much it might cost through LG? Should I even attempt to repair it myself? Any advice would be great. I'll apologize in advance if I don't reply to posts right away. I'll be having trouble using the G3 at all. I'm going to get a sim card for my backup phone tomorrow and use that in the meantime.
I've seen in the past that lg has been fair on pricing. But never give an upfront cost. I'd just send mine in. Hate to hear that happened
Thanks for the reply. I may just send it in and eat the repair cost. I'm just disappointed in the whole situation.

I thought about that, but it would cost roughly the same for LG to fix it. That would save me the worry of attempting it myself and scrying it up even more. Although it can't be too hard.

Thanks for the second recommendation on ZAGG. I remember a few years ago avoiding ZAGG because their thick screen protectors had a bad orange peel effect. I had a Spigen slim armor on my note 3 and I dropped it from about 5 ft a few times and it never hurt the phone. The case has some marks, but then again I always use tempered glass screen protectors. I think it was a fluke that your phone broke from that unless it landed in its face and something hit the screen. Good luck getting it fixed.
