Hi All,
I'm running CM7. I was thinking of updating my ROM to this one

I have a HTC Sensation (not HTC Sensation XE). I was wondering if the following steps would work for me
Steps to install:
1. Full wipe
2. Install the ROM file (HyperNonSense ICS v4.zip) through recovery
3. Boot the ROM
4. When booted, just reboot and go back into recovery
5. Flash the 2nd file (HNS_ICS_Step2.zip)
6. Reboot and now all themeing/setiings/statusbar will be OK.

I ask because CM7 is on Android 2.3.7 whereas this ROM is on 4.0.3.

[Q] How to downgrade from ICS for Sensation XE

Hi Guys,
Need some help on downgrading my ICS on my sensation XE to GB.
What are the the things that i must do in order to do that?

1: Backup your current system if it's working
2: Install a proper firmware version compatible with your system and GB

about hboot

recently, i got an HTC Sensation 4g (GIFT) running ICS 4.0.3.
I tried to run a custom ROM. However, i am not sure where to start. There are lots of different guides.
here is some info:
HTC Sensation 4G T-Mobile
ICS 4.0.3
H-Boot: 1.24.0000 S-ON

1. Go S-OFF
2. flash a recovery
3. wipe
4. flash the rom

i am stuck at the supersu part .
- Unlock bootloader - YES
- Install CWM Recovery - YES
- flash SuperSU.zip - this is where i am stuck.
I copied SuperSU-v0.88.zip to sd card. Reboot to ClockworkMod Recovery v5.8.0.9. Go to install zip from sdcard. when i click on the SuperSU-v0.88.zip it gives me an error. Installation Aborted (bad). I tried downloading from 4 different sites. still no luck yet.
UPDATE::::::::::::::
found to fix it. I tried another sd-card. Re-flashed it again. Everything went smooth.

install a custom kernel with the official ICS rom

May i know that how to install a custom kernel with the official ICS rom of htc sensation? Is it possible?
I try to install SENSE Bricked-Kernel-3.0 Sensation (pyramid) using CWM recovery.
But after i installing, i select reboot. Then the screen pop out "Android is upgrading", then it reset to default kernel? What i miss?
Newbie here Hard to find any guide through internet.

[Q] Custom rom wants to root?

I want to install jellyfirebean rom on my desire s. its unlocked and i installed 4ext recovery. but i didn't root. This rom needs to root? Here:

so your desire s is s-on unlock.
the steps are
1. full wipe except sd card
2. flash rom
3. flash gapps
4. optional - flash beats and fix permission (u dont have to do this unless you want to,i usually just skip this,my mp3 are low in quality and my headphones are cheap)
5. reboot into fastboot - flash boot.img
6. reboot phone

edit : do make a nandroid backup just incase u wish to go back to the old rom.
rmb to backup your sms,contact,apps,games,data,etc

Every rom has built in kernel (boot.img) no need to worry. Just follow instructions above.
