I got a gt-p6210 want to change it in gt-i9100 for more apps in the market?
Thanks

Recommend root explorer simply choose open in text editor, remove your product and replace, save and exit. Root explorer will save the original as a back up.
There are also apps market just for editing build.prop.
You will have to reboot for change to take effect.
Thanks! Now playing modern combat 3 and works fine!

Wow, didn't even think to do that.
Several apps i had on my other tablet would show up in the market.

Original thread
Features
-It does not include the Samsung widgets
-It does work on Froyo and Eclair... I'm running it on the DamageControl Rom
-1 to 7 homescreens
-Application Dock
-App drawer is iphone like style
I would recommend you download the app "Home Switcher" from the market, if you didn't already... Makes it very easy to switch between home replacement apps, and set as default.
Download
TO ADD APPS TO THE DOCK, open up the all the applications by pressing the applications tab, then press menu, then press edit, and drag your apps to the dock as you wish.
Heres some pictures
nice contribution. thanks
This is one of the many reasons I love android! Something on another android device you want? Wait a few days and it shall be so!

You are using the built-in application installer most likely, try something like Apkatcher and try installing it again.
Can't get it apkatcher just shows black screen with cancel button

working perfect and uses less memory than stock htc launcher
Im running the current ota update stock and loaded this launcher perfectly ( allow install of third party apps under settings, used apollo file manager). All you need is the samsung widgets plus the 4g toggle ( look in other posts) and you have the epic without a keyboard. Thank you for the option. Love android. PS apple i have reception no matter how i hold my big a$$ phone.
Can someone send me the file...won't let me download

It did that for me as well, I had to download with a computer, then transfer the files to the phone. For some reason when I downloaded directly with the EVO, the file kept getting cut off at 13kb. The file is like 1.5mb
Can someone who's downloaded this and installed it successfully please upload the. apk to RapidShare or something? The problem is that download link lists the file at 1.4mb but when you actually download it the file only ends up being 13kb or something. I believe there is something wrong with that particular download link/site. Thanks
EDIT: posted this before I saw the post above. Sorry and thanks
nice, love the style. any chance on getting widgets?

First, thank you for this, I love it! Second, is it possible to remove the dots at the top? My taskbar already looks busy enough...
<3
Edit: Only on the main screen, the dots on the apps page is useful.
Not without rewriting the apk...you can do it...don't think its worth the time

sorry, I should have been a little clearer, the preloaded matks. CNN, Samsung registration etc...
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
Scroll to the bottom of the browsers home page touch > Customize Web 2 Go (you'll get a popup) touch > remove icon. And that will remove bookmarks.. that's how I just did it on Froyo..
Most of us don't use the stock browser. You are limited to what stock will download. I use Dolphin HD and had to go check it out for you.
If you only have the stock browser installed I suggest you download one from the Market. They are Superior over stock.
I hope this helped you.
**EDIT**
Didn't see your edit. Lol.

Is there a way i can script my phone to have 1200x720 resolution only when i open browser, then going back to default 800x480 on desktop?
I have used apps like lcd density/resolution to change it before but i have to manually set it every time which sucks.

Nope, changes to the build.prop require a system reboot to take effect.
You can't just make your phone more hd it doesn't work like that

Well i found a way, just got to go into browser settings and change default view to far and text exttra small.
I've been trying to install Lookout as a system app on my kids LG Optimus S. (He keeps deleting it from the market). Every attempt gives me a f/c. Tried moving Lookout using the built in feature with Titanium. Also tried using ES File Explorer to move the apk to the system/app folder. Any suggestions?

It was not made as a system app so you would need the normal apk with all the lib files. To be honest even if you did he/she would just use the same thing to remove it. I would just install a app locker and then lock the apps so they can't be removed
Try installing an App Locker app that will protect the app with an key code and will prevent uninstallations from occurring.
Smart App Protecter is a good one and is free on the Market.
Thanks for the tips. Will give it a shot.

Is the any build.prop edits we can do to add some more notification toggles? I know on my note 3 there are a few that could be added.

You could always use the app called power toggles to add some more. It's a great app I used to use on my moto x that had no toggles at all

I like the toggles samsung use. Just wondering if I could add any. I remember on the note 3 that they didn't have the WiFi toggle but we were able to add it in by editing build.prop along with a few others.

This app is really for sprint users but it will enable all available toggles except for flashlight.
You will lose the flashlight toggle. You can delete the app after enabling the toggles if you wish.

You could try this. I enabled all the toggles with the app. Edited the provider settings database in system/data/data and got the flashlight back. Here is mine if you want to copy it into yours. Just take the folder out of the zip and copy it over.
Oh, I also changed the scroll limit from 10 to 31 for all toggles
Awesome thanks

If mine doesn't work for you, use the app to enable all, then use a SQL editor and open the system/data/data/ com.android providers settings folder, databases, settings.db ,then system folder, and go all the way to the bottom. Add TorchLight; to the end of all the others. No need to do anything else. I copied my folder to the internal SD card, edited it, then copied and replaced the one on the root drive and rebooted.

It worked perfectly. Torchlight toggle was there. It played with some of my sound settings so I had to change it back in settings. Guess I'll have to go through my settings and make sure things are how I like it but that's no biggie. Thanks again!
Edit: I first copied the hole com.android.providers settings in cause I don't know how to follow directions lol. Once I copy just the database and rebooted I was good to go.
