[Q] Battery Dead

So on Saturday i decided to update my Moto G (XT1032) to 4.4.4 KitKat so i could upgrade to Lollipop. After the update was over the phone immediately shut down and wouldn't boot up, so i left it charging overnight. In the morning(Sunday) the phone didn't boot up either so i left it to discharge until the next morning(Monday). So i leave it charging while i was out and when i came back i tried to do the solution provided by Motorola and a white LED started blinking but other than that the phone didn't boot up.Is there anything else i can try or am I missing something here?(p.s i handed it over to a friend and he disconnected the battery from the board and since then the LED started blinking)

trying pressing all the keys (volume up + volume down +power button) for 5 seconds and release it to get in to the bootloader, so then you can adb a custom recovery
I cant get into the bootloader
When you connect it to a Windows machine, is it recognized in device manager as something resembling "qhsusb_bulk"?
If it is, it is hard bricked.
Was the phone's bootloader unlocked? Were you running a custom recovery or rooted?
The PC recognizes the phone(like Moto G) and yes the bootloader was unlocked but i was running stock both firmware and recovery
Also no i wasnt rooted
The PC recognizes the phone in its current state as a moto g? That's good. Maybe you need to let it charge again and try to get into fastboot.
I let it charge for like 15 hours and still only a blinking light...well at least it aint dead
It doesn't seem to want to charge and it's recognized as a moto g when connected to your computer? I'd bet it isn't hard bricked, just soft bricked.

Try a different charger because sometimes I can't charge my phone when its empty with a certain charger but once I use a iPad power adapter it works and then I can charge using my usual charger
Funny thing is that both of my chargers are Apple chargers(with the original motorola usb cable ).So should i just leave it for like a week discharge or let it charge until it finally powers on?
Also if it is a soft brick what would you recommend?
I'd say left it charge over night.
Is the bootloader unlocked?
Yes the bootloader was unlocked
Any luck getting into fastboot?
No luck...still the only thing that shows up its the LED light
When you connect the phone to your Windows computer, is it seen as qhsb or some sort of weird device? If it is, it sounds like it is hard bricked.
Actually i was asked about this in this post (1st page)and no it doesnt show anything like qhsb
I asked again because things may have changed.
I'm at a loss as to why it is recognized as a Moto G by your computer even though it won't turn on.
I tried the freezer thing and the LED stopped blinking for a while and was stable
Is it recognized by your computer as a moto g? I'm not sure how it could since it can't be turned on.

[Q] TF300T is Unresponsive

I have KatKiss-5.0_TF300T_015 loaded on my tablet and have really liked it so far. However, I went to use it yesterday and the tablet was completely unresponsive. Trying to turn it on - does nothing. I also noticed that when plugged in, the keyboard charge light is green, but the tablet doesn't seem to have the charge light anymore. I've tried plugging in the charge cable directly into the tablet and still don't get anything.
Any help that I can get would be much appreciated!! I love this tablet - especially with the KatKiss rom...

Step 1 will be to boot your tablet into fastboot/recovery mode. Check if you see something on the screen. If you don't looks like a hardware issue. You could check with a computer if it detects the tablet indicating it's the screen that's fried, not something else, but you probably won't mind anymore in that case.
PS: getting the tablet to show up in fastboot/recovery mode in Windows is pain, so much better if you have a Linux machine handy.

Vintage moto modding Q! Reviving semi-bricked V360

I'm trying to revive my old (t-mobile) Motorola V360 flip phone. Anyone remember issues and methods with these old timers?
My problem is that when I plug the phone into a charger, it starts up, says it's looking for network, finds network, and then shuts down. If it's not plugged into a charger, it won't respond to anything. I've left it on charger for 24 hours just to see if that would help, but it doesn't.
Attempting to get into the bootloader, I hold * and # and plug in the charger cord, then the firmware screen flashes for a split second, screen goes black, flashes white for a split second, then nothing.
Thanks for any diagnosis on what's going on and any tips on how to revive it

S8+ Hard Bricked overnight

Hi All,
My S8+ went to 0%, I plugged it in overnight and turned it back on. Woke up this morning to a black screen and blue light illuminated. Held down the power button and it got stuck in a samsung start up/shut down boot loop before it finally just went completely black.
I now get no feedback when charging with a cable or wireless pad, but do get a light on the charging pad to recognise the phone. When plugged into a computer I get 'usb not recognised' and no other feedback.
Safemode, download mode or recovery mode also yield no results or feedback.
I've plugged the device into a voltage/current detector and it's pulling 5V but only 0.08A. Any ideas on what might have happened?
I'm thinking/hoping it might just be battery related? I'm on fully updated standard ROM, unrooted S8+
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks
