Well, if you have a rooted phone and you did a factory reset, then u messed things up a bit more. Anyway, get a rom file into the sdcard (using a sdcard reader) and then boot into hboot (power + volume down) choose recovery (if you don't see it choose bootloader) and then get into CWM or the custom recovery you have. Then flash the rom again...if you can't get into recovery then you will have to flash it again....once in recovery I guess you will know what to do....hope it helps...

Please help me fix my Droid Incredible
I bought my Droid Inc last night (3rd Party). When i got it, it was rooted with some sort of Cyanogen mod. In the process of trying to install just a normal leaked Froyo build i really messed up... please forgive me in advance for my limited knowledge on the subject
The Droid didn't come with an SD card so i put my old Droid 1 SD Card in. Everything is wiped and i believe the card is formated correctly (FAT32).
Now, i can't do anything. I just keeps boot looping. I've gone into recovery and tried a factory reset, tried to put files onto the SD card via the Droid 1 and transfer the SD,....i've tried everything i know how.
The main error i keep getting is "unable to mount data, cache,..etc"
PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP. I am so desperate

Which recovery menu are you getting? A recovery menu is a good thing! Depending on the recovery that you have will determine what the next steps are to fix your phone.
When i hold the down arrow and power on I am getting to the HBOOT screen. I'm unfamiliar with this menu coming from Droid but i have tried to Clear Storage and that didn't work. I've also gone into the "recovery" which i'm a little more familiar with as it looks like the Droid 1 screen.
Whats next?
again... which recovery menu do you have? it should be listed on the main recovery screen
oh i'm sorry

Beautiful! Now... Choose a ROM that you want on the phone and put the zip on the SD card..Then flash via recovery...
Once this is done and you are back into your OS, you can either keep the ROM or you can follow the instructions for unrooting the phone back to stock.. your choice.
Just a quick update...

Go here http://dinc.does-it.net/Recoveries/ and download the 5.0.2.0 recovery place the file on the root of your sd card and boot into hboot volume down plus power hboot will find the file and install the recovery. Make sure your sdcard is formated fat 32.
Hi,
this is my first forum post here and I really have a big problem...
I installed a custom rom with rommanager and if I turn on my phone it says touch the android to continue but when I touch it nothing happens
So I wanted to install the original rom I backed up but that is not possible because everytime I go to Hboot and try to open ''install from .zip'' or something in clockworkmod it just shows a black screen and when I hit the power button it goes back to the option menu from clockworkmod, Now I tried to do the things for slcd screen and everything but it doesnt work, when I put the update.zip on my micro sd the Hboot says ''checking sd card... no image or wrong image!'' so I changed my micro Sd card and now when I get into Hboot it just says nothing and when I click on recovery still black screen and not working I really need help asap!!! so is there a way to install my backed up original rom on my htc wildfire with my pc or a way to get clockworkmod working??
Please help asap!!!
Thank you
You should be able to fix your phone by running the exe on this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=877091
it'd be this one http://www.filefactory.com/file/b4b...5.55.24H_3.35.20.10_release_160191_signed.exe
As long as the setup can detect your phone or if it can't just be at the bootloader screen while running that setup, it should detect that and reboot or switch to RUU mode in bootloader
i unrooted my evo using the tutorial by djR3Z, following that method i ran into a problem while the pc36IMG was installing via hboot. when it got to [#]boot it failed. subsequently my phone is unrooted i have no recovery, the S-on is "on" and my phone will not load past the splash screen when it boots. can anyone help me please. also my usb drivers no longer connect...
You will probably have better luck posting in the evo section under Q&A or the thread for the tutorial you used.
My thoughts: Backup your SD card, format it, then put the latest PC36IMG on the root of your card and reboot. If not then you should still be able to get to hboot (battery pull then boot holding vol down) Afterwards you should take the image off your card or rename it.

I have made a big mistake and tried upgrading my phones firmware to install a costume rom.
Phone: HTC Sensation 4G
Company: Tmobile
I downloaded it the wrong firmware now my phone keeps restarting to the main htc screen over and over it wont get past that, I tried doing a factory reset but I'm not sure if it went trough. I'm done toying around with my phone I just want to go back to the the stock version of htc please help me. I can't afford to buy another phone.
Thank you so much.

I'm a newbie, too. So get my advice in doubt.
As far as I read from forum, Task29 clears the ROM all. Then you can install a ROM freshly. May be you can search sbout doing Task29 on your device.
Download a compatible rom from the net to your computer and transfer it to the SD card using a USB cable (or just use the restore option in the recovery menu if you backed up the previous rom, which you should have). Then boot into recovery by turning your phone on, wait 1 second then press volume down then volume up to recovery and flash the new rom you just put on the SD card.
Good luck
If you can't get into recovery mode then I don't have a clue, sorry.

If u can't get into recovery, u have to push the rom to the phone via adb. There's a thread somewhere on how to do it. Search it
Hit THANKS if I helped u
