This thread is from 2010.
I was hoping that there has been some type of resolution to this issue... I just switched over from iOS (go ahead, I'll wait...) to a Galaxy S2.
Is there any way to stop the landscape keyboard from filling the ENTIRE screen?

Hi, I've just updated my P3110 to Android 4.0.4 via KIES. The new keyboard is great but there is no sound on touch even though I enabled this option in settings. System sounds are also set to max and of course silent mode is switched off And general sound on touch works flawlessly (the new one, like in Galaxy S3) only keyboard is silent. Can anyone confirm this issue? Cheers.
Try setting/keyboard or language and setting and try to find samsung keyboard and see its setting (of keyboard) and try to tick and apply sound on press or so
I do not have stock rom i have cm so can not see options exactly sorry
Or Try 3rd party keyboard as go keyboard (beautiful themes)

As I said, the keyboard sound option is enabled but still there's no effect at all. I just find it strange and wonder whether it's a bug or something got messed up with my update.
Has anyone managed to use the "Rotation Lock Adaptive" app with the Galaxy Note 10.1?
I've tried it (free version) but couldn't get the expected results. Often the "Adaptative lock" button doesn't change the orientation at all, and, with some app, the orientation isn't coherent with the tablet position.
Moreover after installing it it changed the GNote 10.1 rotation behavior (even when disabled) and I had a rough time to uninstall it and recover the stock rotation behavior.
Yet it seems a very interesting app. Maybe I just didn't catch up the logic behind it.
I also think that some of these kind of apps managing the display rotation and meant for phones have a queer behavior when installed in tablets.
Any advice/help?

Hey guys, can you help me? My Samsung Galaxy S II's camera interface or the menus on the sides are stuck on landscape mode even though auto-rotation is off and the phone is held upright. When I turn off the auto-rotation, my camera interface is stuck on landscape mode but other apps such as messaging or browser aren't. And if I turn the auto-rotation on, my camera reverts back to portrait mode and works normally when you rotate it. I don't like having the auto-rotation turned on because it affects other apps. I tried clearing camera data and cache, even doing a factory reset but the problem won't go away. I also tried lots of calibration test (even the chihuahua thing from *#0*#) but it showed that my sensors work fine. Fortunately, the pictures taken by the camera are somehow oriented in the correct position. It's only the interface. But it's very disturbing to look at. My Samsung Galaxy S II model is GT-I9100G. Running on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread. Anyway you can help me will be very much appreciated. Thank you.
Hi All,
I've just migrated from an iPhone (i've been iPhone user all the while) to a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. One thing that I miss about the iPhone is that notification screen especially for whatsapp whereby it does not lump all together into one thread and it gives you the option to reply from the lock screen.
I am wondering if there are such ability for Android (I'm quite sure that there is). If so , could you kindly point me to the right direction
With the most recent update and change to the UI, the top controls are cut off when in portrait mode as seen in the included screenshot. If I switch to landscape mode, everything works as normal. I have had no issues prior to this.
I am using a Samsung Galaxy S10 (beyond1lte) with LinageOS 19.
