hi guys
I want to switch my Samsung Galaxy S to HTC Sensation because i want to have some experience with HTC sense.( i've never had htc before so sensation will be my first) Sound quality is very important to me( i am using my phone as an mp3 player) So far i've been using my sgs + voodo sound+ seenheiser cx 200 headphones. The sound quality was really good. i'm mainly listening to rock, metal and all that stuff maybe some pendulum or the prodigy from time to time. HTC sensation xe costs about 2199 PLN( i am form Poland) and this is really big amount of money. Standard Sensation cost 1630 PLN so as you can see the difference in price is big. i just wanna make sure that the ibeats form XE will suit me witch this type of music. So could anyone tell me about sound quality of ibeats and sensation in those genes of music? it will be better or worse than SGS +voodo sound? i really don't want to overpay about 500 PLN for ibeats if they won't be good for me. Or maybe should i buy standard sensation + maybe a seenhesiser CX 400 II precision? it will be about 300 PLN cheaper than XE what do you think about that?
I'm sorry for my English. i hope that i didn't make too many mistakes

You could buy the Sensation and flash an XE ROM with Beats Audio I think...I'm not too sure though
One thing I do know however, is that Sennheiser CX400 IIs are amazing.
dont fall into the hype of the sensation xe and it including the ibeats. from what im hearing from many of the guys from here, there are plenty of better headphones to use like the one you own. i suggest you get the og one unless you want all the red accents
The ibeats are good but senheiser is waaay Better for sound quality. Also get a sensation, flash a custom ROM then flash a beats audio addon and you will have the beats audio sound profile

so you guys are saying that standard sensation with sennheiser cx 400 II precision will be better option than sensation xe right?

At the Carphone Warehouse they are offering amazing deals on the Sansation right now. It's worth a look, and as their phones are all unbranded you won't have to mess around with CID's when it comes to installing custom rom's or flashing back to the origional RRU's.
I have a standard Sensation on Orange (branded, early upgrade ) and I have installed the latest version of Android Revoloution. This has turned my phone into basically the Sensation XE, just without the red accents. It's even overclocked the processor and I have to admit, it's blazing now with speed. It's well worth it. Don't be conned into an extra £15 a month just because of the Red B logo. That's all it is, no word of lie.
supposedly the best iem out for under 100 bucks. refurbished ones are going for 31.99 on ebay for a limited time. i have mine on the way will back about them. just letting others know of the deal. look up klipsch image s4 on cnet and headfi they have great reviews

edit: i meant s4 in the title s4i are for iphones but the mic and call button work with the sensation just not the volume buttons
Why not get the android version

Yeah the s4a especially for Android..
Verstuurd van mijn HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e met Tapatalk
i know i wanted those 2 but cheapest i could find them was around 60
Just get the S4i
Just use the Jays Headset app and control the volume with the center button. I used it with other headphones that are intended to be used with "i" devices.
well i got these days and i am pretty impressed best pair of in ears i ever listened to. ive only owned mee m9s, skullcandys, jbuds, and koss sparkplugs in the past
Does anybody know whether or nor the ibeats, or beat tours etc, with control talks work for the one x? And before anyone says don't waste your money, I love the sound. So just curious. I'm trying to find the original urbeats by dre. Hard to find. I had them for my rezound. But sold them. I found some on ebay. But weary if they are fake..thanks.

AT&T tmobile and sprint have the solo and the urbeats that work on htc and most android phones. Also if you already have solo or studio I know where get the android cable pm for it
If this helped give thanks
Don't waste your money
Seriously, there are MUCH better sounding cans for a fraction of the price. Audio Technica, Beyerdynamic, Grado, AKG, even the B+W P5s (which I own and love) all have FAR better sound than Beats. If you wanna go in ear then every IEM from Shure is the best at its respective price point. I just got these buds from Yuin that for $40 sound unbelievable for ear buds. Seriously, forget the name and BS status symbol and actually check out what else is out there, you'd be surprised at what good sound actually sounds like because Beats is most definitely not it. Beats is not about sound quality, never was.

The ibeats and beats tour does not work on one x but the urbeats which is ibeats with android control talk and htc beats solo does work on the one x. They can be found at a sprint AT&T and tmobile store. If you own a solo or studio already and just need the cable pm I know where to buy it
ControlTalk & HOX
I'm a fan of Beats series so the straight answer is only the ControlTalk remote with 1 button works as of right now. I have the Studio for work and it's one button works just fine for answer/end call as well as play/pause/skip/rewind (1 tap for the two, two/three taps for the latter).
Unfortunately the my Beats Tour doesn't seem to be supported. I also picked up this device from AT&T and they have Beats everywhere but notice the Tour or PowerBeats are nowhere to be seen. It's really unfortunate the hardware doesn't support the volume buttons. I jumped ship from the iPhone so I find this a bit dissapointing but you can always pickup "Headset Button Controller"which won't enable the volume buttons but at least a long press can cycle through the volume in steps. Good enough for me.

Which beats do u own
Hi! I'm currently using my HTC One X with Skullcandy Titans. They sound amazing with the built-in beats audio on the phone. This is even with two years of major usage.
I found a major difference switching from my iPod 4 to my HTC One X in sound quality.
I'm thinking right now whether to buy a pair of ibeats/urbeats for my phone and replace my skullcandy titans. Will the built-in beats audio enhancer make the ibeats/urbeats have better quality of sound or will it have the same quality of sound as my skullcandy titans?

Alot of headphones and headset are made for iPhone.
wanted make one spot where people can list android compatible mic and all 3 buttons (not one button or 3button that only center one work).
List for headset and headphones that work all three buttons & mic
- urbeats
- htc beats solo
- Sony smart headset
- Nocs NS200H (you can download Nocs app for 3 button or 1 button version)
(tested on galaxy tab 2 galaxy 2&3 hd7 nokia lumia 900 and Sony phone not Sony Ericsson )
plz post if you know any other 3 buttons with mic that work on android and which device you tested on.
for people that own beats that have detachable 3.5 cable they have a cable that works on phones listed above pm for link.
should work on soul headphones , sync and street headphones too.
Hmm not much listed on that list yet.

ive been eyeing up so many of those on ebay.. the co worker bought 4 of them and they all turned out to be fakes tho. the remote wouldn't work on anyones phones in the office no matter what brand or make :|
its a gamble of buying one getting it sent testing it and if not trying another seller's product.

Yes there is also the Nokia purity hd and inear
I test them on android htc Samsung and Sony phones they work ( for marketing reason they don't list the devices on the Box )
Thank you. I ordered the Nokia Purity HD at Amazon and will test it with my HTC One S and Google/Asus Nexus 7. But I think the last one is not compatible to controls:
android.stackexchange.com/a/27590/14361
But as the cable is changable I will do a little research on a cable with analog volume control.

The htc phones for whatever reason they choose todo this uses the volume control for skipping tracks but all three buttons work. I own a nexus 7 and I can tell it does not work. I find a little strange since google software is supported and they band it as a pure google tablet.
