I have been having an issue with some embedded video sources that I think, in theory, should work fine. One of which is Penny-Arcade TV. Depending on the rom version I am running it will either try and load and say that it is currently unavailable (Normally on GB roms). The other alternative (normally on ICS roms) is getting a video placeholder (large square box with a film logo in the midde) but when it is tapped on I get a swirling circle that stops and still no video. I have tried the stock browser, Dolphin HD, the AOSP browser, all with the same results. I have tried with and without flash installed. Any ideas cos its starting to wind me up!

With the installation of flash, I was hoping to be able to watch games streamed from ESPN3. When clicking a link to watch a live stream, the player window opens, but it remains blank.
I tried this on the stock browser, and on Firefox mobile (fennec). Anyone else tried it?
My g-tablet:
Stock Tap'nTap with 1.01 update
LauncherPro
Rooted
ESPN on g-tablet
You may want to verify that your flash setup is working properly. I also have Tnt 1.01 + flash (folio apk), and ESPN3 live streams work fine for me. I'm watching Boston College vs. Texas A&M right now. The only difference is that my gtablet is not rooted.

How might I do this?
Does it involve editing the stagefright setting in the build.prop file? I seem to recall something about this.
What browser are you using?
It works for me in Dolphin HD on TNTLite 2.0 with the Flash fix.
Go to the adobe flash website (search in google for Adobe - Flash Player
Once the website page is loaded, if it's working properly, the flash logo will appear and it will tell you flash is installed successfully.
I'm using the stock browser that comes with the gtablet.
OK.
I edited the first line of where "stagefright" is listed, in the build.prop file. I changed it to "false". I rebooted and started the default browser. ESPN3 streaming is now working. I will also try it in Firefox.
I want to say that the quality of the streamed video is great!
Since I am a Linux user, flash video in general sucked. Mainly because Adobe refuses to make a Linux version that has hardware acceleration. I have resorted to booting an old WinXP HTPC that I have, when I need to watch a game on ESPN3. That picture was OK, with occasional hiccups. The video on the g-tablet is about the same. Since this is Linux based, I did not expect it.
Still haven't tried it on Firefox.
The video window still remains blank on Firefox Mobile. I guess it is a Firefox issue, not a g-tab or Android issue.
Does anyone know what the default browser is? I heard that it may be the Google Chrome browser. I installed Google Chrome on my Atom based netbook, but the video is horribly choppy. If I could install OpenOffice/LibreOffice on the tablet, the netbook would be history!
this is what i use to play hulu in full screen
Open the native hulu app
menu
preferences
orientation- set it to any
now just play any video rotate your phone and use your two favorite fingers and zoom to your liking. Enjoy
Thanks dude that works. My only problem is that hulu is laggy. Do you have the same problem? I know it's not my internet, I've tried over wi-fi and I get at 10mb down. I'm running sky ics 6.7
not lag at all on my end, but at the beginning it would start to show the video and it'd go away, so I re-installed the hulufied flash player and no more problems since then, I'd also recomend updating your rom to the newest by seanz,
I have a Chinese tablet, Ainol Hero dual core running Jelly Bean 4.1
It comes pre-rooted... or so it would appear due to being able to see the upper file structure.
It came installed w/ latest Flash version and no matter what I try I still can't seem to watch Amazon Prime or Hulu videos.
I've used newer and older dolphin browsers, Firefox, stock browser all in desktop modes. I've installed older versions of flash.
I CAN watch flash videos anywhere else, but Amazon loads it's video player then gives the message "Unable to connect to video please try again later." which just loops. Hulu tells me flash isn't working.
Any suggestions?
Well... i've tried about every browser out there, and multiple versions of Flash (old & new) and still no luck.
Still getting the "Cannot connect to server..." message.
I am having two weird problems with my tablet since I installed CROMi-X
The first is that one site stopped showing in all of my browsers (stock, Chrome, Firefox and Dolphin), except Opera in "Offroad mode". It just affects one site (www.terra.com.br ) : when I was in stock ROM, the site appeared as in desktop version. Now with CROMi-X, it just shows a derranged menu in plain text, and nothing eles: is not browsable anymore. Opera only reads the site as mobile (what is also bad to me, a lot of content is not available on mobile).
Thing is, Terra is one of the main news portals of my country, and I am really missing it :/
The second problem: it seems unable to display video in lower resolutions. I am trying to watch some live streamings, and it locks on a frozen image with only audio running or choppy images with no audio, and crashes soon after. In my mobile phone (Sony Xperia SP, rooted, stock ROM), I am able to watch the videos, as when the quality falls for any reason, it seems to "re-calculate" the displaying, and keeps showing the images (just in a smaller screen). In the TF700 it got impossible. I am using the very same player in both devices (MX Player). Android player also gives me the same in TF700 running CROMi-X (can't compare here as Xperia uses a specific player from Sony).
Perhaps is just a small tweak, a thing of settings that I am missing, but I really don't know what sort of adjust should I do to have things working again around here. Somebody have any idea about what I should do?

I'm sure I already responded to you somewhere else:
The first problem is probably related to the adblocker. Disable adblocking.
For the second look up how to get a logcat and then post a logcat of the issue.
I have a xoom UK WiFi. I'm running Omni 4.4.4 (I think).
I have an issue where any video I watch in any browser doesn't work properly.
Chrome/Chrome Beta crashes when I try
Firefox plays the video sound is fine but frame rate is like 0.5FPS
Stock Browser black window unless you go full screen, then it is the same is firefox.
Videos play fine in the Youtube app or from a file
I did a system update a while back and I think this is what screwed it up. It definitely worked before.
Any Ideas how to fix?
I am not sure the cause, but I have the same issues (with the exception of the 0.5FPS issue). If the videos work in Stock Browser, they play at the proper speed - sometimes I have to full screen them, other times not.
The resolution I've found for videos that do not play properly in the stock browser is to use Dolphin Browser and ensure that Flash is installed.
Chrome - I was having too many issues with it crashing/freezing (irrelevant of videos), so I gave up on it quite a while ago.
I haven't used Firefox enough to comment.
