Hi I'm currently using ARHD 6.5.5 on a sensation XE.
There comes a time when My Music Player has sound/audio but when I go to Video player/Internet Browser/Apps , audio seems muted and when I put the Media volume to Max, still no sound. my only solution is to restart but after a while the issue repeats. don't know what triggers this. Anyone experienced this?

Yep, i've had the same thing happen.
Fixed it with a reboot. Dunno what caused it either.
Try fixing permissions. If it keeps happening after that just reflash the ROM
Got this issue also. But i experienced this while using youtube. Sadly i stopped using arhd because of this. First time using it got a bug like this, really saddened me. Went back to hypernonsense 1.5. No issues at all. No sense also though

I got the game 'Spirit HD' off of the market for 10ยข today. When I'm in the middle of playing the game, the whole game will freeze and I have to back out and kill the game before I can come back and play it. Is anyone else experiencing this? The developer told me that someone reported the same problem as I did, but said the game works perfectly fine on the Sensation's stock software. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Nope, I've been playing that game from stock, to insertcoin, to pyramid3d neon thingie majig, to ARHD, to MIUI, to CM7 and now ICS.
Never experienced this.
Works great for me with CM7, sense 3.0, and sense 3.5.

Well the dev told me to try an adb logcat next time it happened to see what process was causing it to freeze, so I guess I will be doing that.

Just wanted to know if there was some way in changing the default sound enhancer of the stock music player to 'No effects'. It always sets itself to 'SRS enhancement'- on startup, and even if I just selected 'no effects'- it reverts back to SRS automatically.
And this is just in regard to the stock player- I'm not a big fan of PowerAMP or Winamp. It's just that IMHO, I feel that the 'no effects' option delivers the best quality without much disruption. 'Beats' feel good as well- but only at times.

Just checked on mine as I usually use Poweramp. Switched it to no effects and then played a few songs. Restarted the phone and then went to the music player again and the no effects is still selected. So I'm not sure why your one is overriding the setting and reverting back to SRS.

Seriously? Is it just me or is anyone else having this issue? Just for info I'm running on ELEGANCIA Rom v1.3 and on stock kernel. I'm not really sure but I think I had the same issue when I was on Leedroid. Had the bug from the very start- so it shouldn't be an error in any custom apps. And I did a superwipe before flashing- so rules out errors there as well.
Like I mentioned earlier, it never stays on 'no effects'. It's always on SRS no matter what. The beats option works fine though..
If it helps I'm running ARHD 4.1.8 with the no-sense script. Have only just flashed back to this as was running the Miui rom but found the screens too awkward to organise. In saying that tho - you may find it its the Beats add on that is causing the effects.
Bump. Can I confirm if anyone else on Sense 3.5 w/ Beats add on is facing this?

It's a problem with beats mods up to a point and me and a couple of others have solved it and the best way to get rid of it is to flash my Beats Audio XE mod in the themes and apps section and it will be solved

Thanks mate, the beats mod from your thread seemed to solve the issue. Can select 'No effects' now and it sticks to it. However- it does revert back to SRS after a reboot- not an issue though, but is this set by default?
I have a similar issue with a stock sensation - however it always starts the player on no effects, rather than one of the equalizer settings it was left on previously. Maybe we should swap phones?

No, maybe a bad flash coz I don't have this problem, although maybe that's coz mine is permanently set on Beats Audio mode, I shall look into this though as I consider it a bug

Recently ive been noticing that when i open the camera app i can barely see anything on the screen unless im pretty much pointing it at a light source! For instance in my lounge right now with the curtains open, its 3pm so still light and i can barely see the room on the screen. Its almost like the camera isnt opening the shutter enough to let enough light in.
Ive also got camera fx app installed and that has the exact same problem so im pretty sure its hardware related rather than software.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any solutions for it? Or is my camera duff and needs to be sent off for repair?

Sorry im on Virtuous Quattro Alpha2, but im pretty sure i had a similiar thing when i was on Inquisition as well.
Always do super wipe using mikes script. Im super cid, and on 1.23 HBOOT. radio, 11.65.3504.00P_11.19.3504.29_2. Included kernel with Quattro.
Ok I used the amaze on gb Roms.. you're using ics based roms.. maybe this may be the culprit? I could be wrong but I could be right.

Same problem here, the wife uses Instagram on my phone and it kills it pretty much every time.
Freezing here too
Regularly freezes my phone, particularly during the application of tilt-shift and/or when clicking on the top right hand side arrow to process pic and upload. Really annoying. E-mailed them as well, hoping for a fix. In the meantime, no one cracked this yet?

this problem rekated with apk, not phone. i'm using xe with arhd without sny instagram problem but i tried same apk on desire, ideos x5 and galaxy ace, and noticed errors. if the program wants to work, it work like a charm. if it doesnt want to, you have nothing to do.
generally iphone port apps doesnt work stable.

Since the most recent update it seems to be much more stable.
And by much more stable I mean being able to process and upload a picture without a hard reboot
I've found that if I reboot BEFORE I use instagram, it works perfectly. If I do NOT reboot it freezes. I've learned to work around this issue by rebooting BEFORE use. Then it works perfectly for me. My current Rom Beats by Grogg 3.0 v.B. but I think the reboots will work with ANY Rom. Give it a try. It solved my freezing issue, perhaps it will also solve your issue hope this helps! Good luck

WTF is going on with Instagram
Ever since I upgraded to the new TMOUS 2.10 now 3.0.0 Instagram freezes on me and I have to take the cover off the back of my phone and reboot it every time now. Seriously though. what's going on?

There had been confirmed issues with some specific drivers and some specific apps (skype and istagram eg.), you can take a look in this thead for the drivers you might want try.
For those with Instagram problems, those drivers should fix it :

They should work no problem with every ROM, clearing cache is also a good thing to do.
what do those drivers do exactly ? And I noticed this is for an adreno 200 but the sensation has adreno 220 ?
Hi there,
I have radio number 11.69, on 3.32 firmware, running virtuous inquisition. One issue i have is with Bluetooth audio playback, eg listening to music over bt with a home theatre system. It's not a major problem as everything else works so well. It used to work great using my Desire, but the audio is choppy and cuts in and out which is still disappointing as it worked flawlessly previously. Could anyone recommend a radio or had a similar problem? It may be just a case of trial and error with different versions but thought i would check first.
