Here's the apk if someone wants to figure out how to get it to install. I've tried changing the permissions and I've tried resigning the APK but neither have worked for me.

I'm having the problem on CM7 where it wants to verify the phone number of the device... I should probably start a new thread.

Hey guys, I'm running cm7. I've heard that there's a kindle fire edition of wind-up knight in the stock rom Amazon app store.
The normal version in the play store crashes upon starting the app. Could someone kindly upload the kindle fire edition apk? Thanks!

Link REMOVED..See a lower post for updated link.
There you go friend..enjoy it's a great game and really missed not being able to play it. I would advise coming over from CM7 to paulobrien's Rom GR7 based on the stock Kindle Fire OS with the Google Play store, I love it but let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks so much, but I get parsing error whenever I try to install

Wow I wonder why..let me try to upload the file to the box account again. I pulled the Apo from my Fire using Wondershare MobileGo application and that usually works no problem. I will post another comment once its uploaded and ready.

Yeah I found the problem..it timed out when I uploaded to my box account. I deleted the old apk and I am uploading a new one. I tested the extracted Apk and it works just fine for me but when I tried to pull the apk from my previous link I got the same error. Give me a few moments to get you a new link.
Here you go this link should be much better. I am sorry I did not test it before I posted last time. The uploaded acted much better and I am testing the apk now from my link so I will edit this post if there is a problem this time. If I don't then you know it works just fine for me but please give me a shout back if you run into problems.

OK. From the start. I have a rooted kindle fire running jelly bean with kernel 3.0 unofficial. And I have twrp 2.1. Any way I've been trying to get a boot loader with audio but kf doesn't have the system/media/sounds/poweron / . Folder that audio files go in. BTW I'm only 15. The picture quality is crap but the audio is good so if I could take the sound and put it to a sharper picture that would be great. And I can't give you the link cause I haven't posted 10 times. But Google Dr who boot animation with sound .then scroll down past the vids until u see xda and it's the last little sub category. And it s the first link on that page.
It was able to work on other android tablets but i guess it doesnt work on kf.

Extract the zip and delete the meta file stuff and rezip.

Hello experts!
I'm running AOSP JELLY BEAN 4.2.1_r1 on my first generation Kindle Fire, it's working like a charm, except for this:
For some reason it did not come with stock email app, I installed Gmail from the market, never used it before, so I didn't know it doesn't support mail accounts other than gmail ones.
Now I would like to get rid of the Gmail app but I can't uninstall it, I really like the Google mail's Interface, and also the possibility of unifying all my mail accounts.
I try to install Google mail, but I get "application not installed"
Is it there a way to accomplish this?
Help on this matter will be greatly appreciated.
A happy and prosperous new year to all!
Here is the Email app straight from the Cm10.1/sgt7 system app folder. I don't know if it'll install just by tapping the apk......might have to put it in system/app and set permissions. Hope it helps

Worked perfectly. Thanks a million!
Now, what can I do in order to make the Gmail app disappear? Uninstall is grayed, Delete account is not available. Should I just delete the app from the system/app folder? Is it safe to do just that?
Thanks in advance.
