Please help me!!! My I9000 was suddenly turned off while charging although I didn't touch it. I did remove and re-install the battery but still couldn't either restart or get into Download mode or CWM.
The battery was 22% left before charging. The temperature of the charger and I9000 was hot. But they're often hot while charging, sometimes it shows 40 oC.
I'm using Innovation 5.2 JVS ROM with Semaphore 1.7.5 Kernel.
Is my phone bricked? Please help me !!!
As i'm developing on my phone its almost constantly on the usb charger too.
I once had a similar issue, where it would not show any sign of life, no download mode, no CWM nothing, no keys lighting up either.
I had already printed out an Amazon RMA and packaged it, just randomly i thought ah wtf lets try it one more time.
So i put it pack together, put the battery in and it worked like nothing happened and still does...
I still have no clue what happened, though i have some suspicions about somekind of overcharging failsafe...
I would suggest leaving the phone without battery during the night and try it after that again.
Thanks a lot Dark3n. I'll try it right after back home.
There's no hope. I think the power ICs has been... died. I'll take the phone to Maintenance Center.
Anyway, thank you Dark3n again for giving me a way.
OK, recently my fiance wanted to get into the world of Androids, so she went out and bought a Samsung Conquer 4G from a garage sale to mess around with in the time she doesn't have a computer, at least until recently. (Not on the Sprint Network, just using the phone by itself with WiFi)
All of a sudden her phone doesn't charge, regardless if it's on, or off.
Please note that this device has NOT been rooted, everything is 100% stock
Android Version : 2.3.6
BaseBand : 2.6.35.7
Kernel : S: D600.12 xFE16
First thing she checked was if it was the charger. Turned the phone off, plugged it in. No response from the device, no lights, no screen. Tried pulling the battery and plugging it in, no dice.
Now.
Plugged it into a BlackBerry Tour, started charging immediately.
She has tried different wall ports around the house
With this, we checked if there was a kink in the cable. Nothing. Cable is perfectly fine.
From what I had read previously, it may have been a battery issue. The battery had completely discharged (0%), and needed replacing. Bought a new battery. Same issue. Will not charge, on or off.
Maybe it was a software issue? Booted into Recovery Mode, performed a Factory Restore, rebooted. Pulled battery after first load, reinserted. No dice either.
She has tried also plugging it into her desktop computer (tried it on her mother's computer and her own. It USED to recognize the device, as well be able to use it as flash-storage. But now Windows says that something USB has plugged in, but nothing more. As well the device does not show that it is plugged into a USB port. No charge, no data transfer.
Any help is appreciated. We'll try our best to communicate back and forth as much as possible!
Also : As of right now the battery she bought is at 40% life. Currently pulled to reserve as much of it as possible.
Bump
Apologies, still require assistance if possible. :\
I'm going to take it nobody has any ideas on how to remedy this? x_x;
Hello all!
I'm having a few problems with my android tablet. 1st, a few months ago the tablet would not turn on after leaving it dead for about a week. I tried to charge it but it wouldn't work, so I left it alone for a few months. Today I decided to try to turn on my tablet and it came back to life! BUT when I turned it on, the tablet showed a white screen with lines going through it after the boot up process ended. I restarted the tablet and it went away. Unfortunately it keeps on doing weird things with the screen but only seems to do that when I'm browsing through the play store/downloading apps. I've restored my tablet as new and it's still giving me these problems. Also, now it won't recognize on my PC. It was recognizing a few minutes ago but now the tablet turns white when I plug it up to the computer. I've tried to look on google for help but I can't find any, also I've posted this on AndroidCentral but they've been no help to me at all... If anyone could at least lead me to the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. BTW tablet is : Ployer MOMO9-3 running 4.0.4 I think. If it needs to be updated, can you please advise on that too.
Also want to note that it'll work for about 45min before it freezes, screen turns different color or gets static like and I'll have to reboot.
Hello. I have problems with my device, a Motorola Razr xt925 HD. It doesn't start, it just keeps the green led blinking when connected to wall charger, and when I plug the USB, makes a sound of a new device detected but only for a few seconds then it makes a sound of an unplugged device, and so on. It doesn't respond to any combination of buttons. I let it charging overnight, even though the battery was nearly full before this happened. Don't know if this is relevant but before this happened, I was going to flash stock Retail Brazil firmware by fastboot and got a flash failure. I turned it off and then it wouldn't turn on again. I never had this happened, I had problems but I always solved them all. Not this time hopefully you guys can help me or tell me what it could be, because I doubt it was the battery. I leave you a video showing my case.
i dont know for certain but the only time i see that green light is when battery is ou and i put it to chrge. Could your phone be in apfastboot and can t charge. It is a bit of a tough situation to troubleshoot.
Did you try keys combo to put it in fastboot, and test it by flashing
or maybe use rsd lite see if it shows you device connected? maybe then you can flash stock
i am sure there are other possibilities, let s hear from you
There's no way to enter in Fastboot by key combos and RSD lite doesn't show my device :/ maybe I need a factory cable, just in case that the battery is empty. I need more suggestions please
me paso lo mismo
did you find any solution?
im having this problem after i start using KK 4.4.2 seems like the phone go to sleeping mood by it self while my screen is locked so i have to keep clicking at power and volume up and down to restart the device now im looking for an update or a fix for this problem, another problem is the device WIFI do not catch my house signal while im away 10 feet from the house the software have bugs
I've been using CM 11 (KK 4.4.4) with no issues. This is a flash problem or maybe the battery. My phone is still dead btw I see that two more people are having the same problem here... we need a solution please.

This thread for the droid Ultra might interest you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-ultra/general/droid-ultra-maxx-brick-recovery-t2830806
There is some discussion of the Razr HD in this thread. It looks like someone with an unlocked device would need to dd their bootloader partition for this method to work.
A few years later .... Any solution? rsrsrs
any update on this scenario?
i have this situation too and the time could give us an answer, i am searching again, i took my device to some 'phone repair stores' and in less than 5 minutes they told me that the phone was dead, but i have my last doubts
Just to add an update here
I ended up with the Green light only and blank screen after trying to fix a battery issue, despite getting a number of batteries my phone wasn't accepting the batteries.
I remembered a battery issue a long while back, so went to reflash my phone to see if it resolved it.
I ended up with the green light and blank screen and no matter what buttons, it would just make a noise then keep rebooting.
I ended up using the Unbrick bat file.
RSD Lite was briefly showing a Medfield device of something starting with Med, but since the phone kept rebooting I couldn't reflash it again.
I did the Pwr and Vol down and as soon as I saw the device, I clicked the UnBrick bat and it managed to get my Moto logo up.
I then booted to Fastboot mode and reflashed and my phone is back,
See this link for the UnBrick, but when you do it, you have to be fast to catch it while the device is seen, otherwise the phone reboots after 4s or soo.
Softely Unbrick XT890 Razr i - Really Unbrick the Zombie
Well do not think that this thread is one among others. It's my experience when i messed up with my Razri. I wish I had this before, so I'm sharing it with you ! Every has his experience and a way to do it, so this is mine First I searched...

My Dad brought the phone from Alibaba and after 3 months it was boot looping so i tried to fix it for him. When i got into the recovery mode i factory reset it and then it was flash nand or something like that. I stopped it half way through the process and after that the was dead. Not connecting to pc not turning on no lights to indicate signs of life. The phone is getting power because when it is left charging the back where the camera is located feels warm. If anyone knows a solution or is the phone unrecoverable please tell me

Hi, as mentioned it may be difficult to find support for knock-offs. I did find this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433709 where the last post the member gave some suggestions of places to look.
You can also try to post your question in the international S4 Q&A section here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/help
Best of luck to you.
