[Q] Flashing Stock RUU - HTC Sensation

Question if I directly flash ruu_pyramid_le_htc_asia_wwe_1.73.707.4_radio_10.58.9035.00u_10.15.9035.02_2_release_220848_signed.exe from my current ARHD 6.5.5 with 3.24 FIrmware. Is that possible?
Will the RUU revert everything to stock including the HBoot 1.18?
Or I should downgrade my Hboot first before I could?

Nevermind ^^, I already flashed Im back on my Stock ROM. Currently download my OTA. hope everything goes fine.

Old firmware

Hi guys, where can i get the old firmware? I flashed the new firmware to install the new ICS 4.0.3 Sense rom. I didn't like it, so i restored my old ROM. And now i keep getting random reboots which i never get before.
I'm on stock XE rom after flashing new firmware and no problems.
HTC Sensation 4G with Beats Audio
I'm on Miui.us latest version.
Try downloading the orgional rom for your phone and flashing it using the ruu exe file. This will restore the phone back to the orgional bootloader and radio and rom!
Can i just flash the PG58IMG.zip from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300

When we flash the RUU...does it remove Root? I installed a custom ICS ROM to try but didn't like it, so I did a NAND restore, but I think the firmware was still updated to the one that was needed to do the ICS, and I find the battery is draining quickly. So I would like to revert back to where it was.
I had though a NAND restore will restore everything including the HBOOT version and the radio...but guess not? So should I just do a RUU thing then?
Thanks

I think the pd58img ur referring to is for CWM not the firmware or radio which is what ur looking for. If you want complete retail stock then find the gingerbread 2.3.4 RUU. If ur looking for 2.3.4/5 customer roms the just flash the rom u want. GB works fine with its firmware. Backwards compatible.
The situation have been getting worse and worse everyday. Now, I couldn't even use my phone for 2 minutes without it rebooting itself. I have tried different ROMs with the same result. And i have already flashed the latest T-mobile firmware which i got from this thread.
And I'm sure its the firmware that's causing the problem. Because the first time booting into android after flashing the ICS firmware, the phone froze during the boot screen.
I'm running
HBOOT- 1.23.0000
RADIO- 10.11.9007.15_M

[Q] is safe flashing stock GB RUU on a ICS ROM?

I'm on latest ICS 4.0.3 leak with new firmware and everything else.
I need to go back to stock cuz i need to send it.
Can i flash my stock GB RUU to come back to original situation?
Now don't quote me on this. It's safe to flash the stock firmware. Altho you are going to want to have your stock backup or a gingerbread Rom that is stock to flash immediately afterwards. 4.0.3 will not boot unless it has the 1.23, hboot. So you will go straight into the splash screen stuck mode after booting with new hboot. Besure you have something compatible with the new firmware before flashing on.ics.
Make sense?
My sensation was running newest firmware with 6.0.2 ICS. My recovery is 4Ext touch recovery. For whatever reason (flashing addict) I grabbed the TMOUS stock RUU and ran it.
At first the RUU gave me an error saying the phone had incompatible or bad recovery/partition. It then gave me the option to recover or repair the recovery/partition.
After that was done I had to close the RUU and re-open it. The RUU worked fine after that. My phone was put back to hboot 1.17.0008 with stock GB. HTC warranty ready.
so no problems here (of course there is some risk, every situation is different)
so is not a problem if the ICS firmware has changed the structure of the system partition?

Hey there,
I think you have not the right firmware (hboot).
reboot to bootloader and check what your Hboot is.

Hi,
1.Flash any GB ROM from HERE
2.The radio you have on at the moment will work on GB with 1.17.
If not,go HERE , and get 10.14 or 10.15 and install it...

OK, i wrote s-on wrong while on hboot 1.23 and it locked so i used htc dev and now i can use GB roms with ease but i really want to go back to ics. My hboot is 1.23 so i should be able to use 3.12 firmware roms??? I flashed the boot.img file of each of the ics roms i tried and they all go stuck on bootloop and know i don't know why, all of the roms i tried are on firmware 3.12, darkforest, oceicsv111,virtuous inquisition 2.0.0 and arhd 6.0.3. I am stuck in the same situation as you, S-on, hboot 1.23, firmware 3.12, unlocked with htc dev and supercided. I'd tried some ICS roms without luck. Tried, too, a bunch of methods to revert back to an hboot that could be used with Revolutionary, but nothing worked.
So I'm using a gingerbread rom (Elegancia) while I wait for another method to try, or for Revolutionary to be updated to hboot 1.23.

Please Help me! HTC sensation problem!

I rooted my phone, i got my first rom... it worked well... then I decided to update the firmware and hboot to 1.27.1100 in order to get the ICS... i didn't do the CID or anything... when i flashed the rom... (Android Revolutionary 6.6.4)... when it was done, it would stay on this Android logo... it would just stay there for hours. So I decided to go back to the old (Android Revolutionary HD android 2.3.4)... but it would just keep on getting in a bootloop... please how do I fix this? i tried doing a wipe... still doesn't work... I read somewhere that in order to do this i have to downgrade back to 1.17 hboot... how do I downgrade? If i could avoid downgrading and get ICS to work what else should I do? please help me!
you cannot go back to GB from a 1.27 hboot, if your s-off you can just downgrade your hboot to 1.23 or below. I think you also have to downgrade your firmware...tht stuff is all posted here somewhere
fyi: hboot 1.23 supports GB roms and ICS roms
What firmware did you install?
Try This
Boot into recovery
Superwipe
Flash firmware for ARHD 6.6.4 (I believe it includes the proper hboot)
Flash ARDH again
I had a similar problem. After flashing ARHD, for some reason I was no longer Revolutionary s-off, so I tried flashing an engineering bootloader, which worked, but I ended up with a bootloop (the logo you're talking about that doesn't go away). I followed the steps above and was fine. Hope that helps.
