[Q] Sudden Crash and Can't Reboot - Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus

I know there seems to be many posts regarding this but I have not found a solution and wondering if my situation is involves something different. My device was rooted with CWR. I can still get into clockwork PWR and VOL UP, and I can also access ODIN...PWR and VOL DWN. But I cannot recover and of my backups or get device to start fresh again...have messed around with ODIN...but not that familiar with the recovery program. Any ideas or solutions would be greatly appreciated. I have posted my screen where I am stuck.
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Trying for 3 days, nothing works

Hi all,
I've searched the web and on this site but haven't seen this problem anywhere. I've tried a gazzilian things to no avail, that's why I'm posting to this great site and members as a last resort.
I'm a noob who learned to root but am not a flasher. I've unlocked and rooted my HTC Raider. I bought it outright from Rogers, then unlocked and rooted it. 3 days ago I was installing a sound performance app (DPS) I think and it was taking forever so I abandont it. Since then here is a list of issues.
Now the unit has relocked by itself.
Can't boot up, freezes on white HTC logo.
I can boot into HBoot but can't do anything there..recovery etc.., it returns to HBoot???
When I plug into the charger (when it's off) it automatically turns on into Hboot where I can't do anything anyway???
My PC doesn't recognize any SD cards, internal or external, so I can't reflash any Zips
I've tried many root tools I've found, nothing works. I'm now trying Hasoon2000's HTC Vivid All-In-One-Kit and still can't get anywhere.
Can anyone please help? I'm a total loss on this one.
Do you have CWM (ClockWorckMod) installed? During boot keep pressing volume up/down button, boot to CWM. You will be able to select "Wipe Cache" and Reset to factory settings. Keep in mind that will reset your settings and data so I suggest using Titanium Backup for this to back it up before.
If this doesn't help, reflash the rom.

Thanx for your quick reply,
Yes I have CWM, that's another problem. It only boots into HBoot (volume down/power button), haven't been able to get into CWM for weeks??? Works on my rooted Incredible S however. I can't flash anything because my PC doesn't recocnise my Raider. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers many times. I've tried everything I know. It's also relocked for some reason???
Also, I've tried to unroot and reinstall Rogers original ROM to start over again but again "No device detected"???

Yes, it's very simple. "Once click" says it all. You'll know you're bricked when the phone never works again. You'll know you're soft bricked when it just shows the red Motorola logo endlessly or repeatedly. You should learn about the "FXZ thingy" before you do anything else. You'll most likely need it sooner or later and as with any knowledge it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
Please check our condolence page if you are hard bricked.. You can find that here http://nooooooooooooooo.com/

Beginner Question
Hello Everyone,
This is my first post on this website, really one of my first posts to any forum, as I am used to just figuring it out myself, my first time rooting a phone, etc. I figured my questions are pretty specific to this download in particular. So I downloaded the 1 click root file, I rooted the phone, everything went smoothly as it was extremely easy. Ok so it looks like my next steps would have been to install superuser and CWM recovery. Luckily superuser was included in this download and looks like there is a folder for CWM Recovery found on My SD card on both my phone and laptop. I tried to check to see if CWM Recovery was indeed installed by holding the volume buttons and power button while the device was off. It did come up with a menu, and I can't remember exactly what the menu was(one I've obviously never seen before) but I did see the recovery option. I hit the volume keys to get down to it, but somehow it selected the one below that. Now when I hold volume keys and power button, while the phone is off, nothing happens until I let them go and the following is on the screen: AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S) 0A.72, etc. Looks like I somehow selected the fastboot flash mode.
Question #1- How do I get back to where I can see the original menu that popped up when I first held the volume keys and power button?
Question #2- Does the download actually include CWM Recovery? Or is it just a folder? (seems silly, but total noob to rooting here)
Question #3- I figured out question #1 as I was typing this. So I got back to the original menu, selected recovery and then there was a dead droid buddy with a red triangle and exclamation point. After about 1 minute it went away and the phone started with no issues. However, I was told that after selecting recovery mode, if the phone has CWM Recovery installed, it would say it on the top of the screen upon booting. What is going on? hahaha
Sorry about such a long post, but I wanted to provide the most detailed information. I am a very quick learner but still new. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

[Completed] [Q] Help needed with Galaxy (SME500H) CWM Recovery

Hello Everyone,
I am very new to the android developing and modding but I do have a basic idea of coding and know my way very well around linux. My problem is that I have a Samsung Galaxy E5 series phone (rooted) and I tried editing its build.prop to optimize battery and 3g speeds. I made a noob mistake and did not take any backups. But in my defense I do not have any custom recovery like CWM etc. installed . So a backup would be not much of a help at this time. So now my phone is stuck in the stock recovery mode which has very limited options. I searched on the internet/this forum but could not find any CWM/TWRP recovery for my phone.
I am willing to make my own CWM recovery using source but since i can not switch off the phone (non removable battery) , it is just lying there. And compiling a new recovery would take much longer time for an amateur like me. What I am asking here is , if anyone can help me with my situation by compiling a CWM recovery. I was searching the documentation earlier and I do have recovery.img and boot.img from the stock rom. My android version is Kitkat 4.4.4. Firmware version : E500HXXU1AOB2 but on the recovery it says : KTU84P. E500HXXU1AOA6.
I am so confused. Any help would be appreciated.
To the mods: Sorry if my thread is in the wrong section. Please let me know if I made any mistake.
I don't know about all the rest cause I have limited skills in compiling but hold down power button and keep holding it down and phone should turn off if that's of any help, good luck

Thank you for replying banjomike. I held down power button for almost a minute and during that time the phone kept vibrating every five seconds or so. The phone is stuck at the samsung logo and just won't poweroff. I tried every button combination I could think of. I don't know what the hell kind of phones they make these days.
I am going to download stock firmware and flash it via odin. Lets see if that helps me.

[Completed] boot loop on the blu vivo air! help!

So the phone is not mine, it's my sister's phone, it is not rooted or anything, just a few days ago it rebooted itself and has been boot looping since, I really don't know what to do to fox it, the only things I thought of doing was to hold the power button and the volume up and down for a few seconds to take me to the recovery mode but it doesn't let me and yes I tried the two combos independently, searching a little I've found a few things, and they are that the phone might be soft bricked, and it tells me to download the android sdk something about cmw recovery but to be honest I'm not familiar with any of those things, any help would be greatly appreciated, I hope the info I provided is enough to get me some help.

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
Because there hasn't been any modifications done to this device, I would avoid at all costs any custom work (like CWM recovery), because your warranty (if your sister has one) would still be intact. Taking it back to the provider/seller is still an option here.
If you can still access what is called fastboot (if this device does have one, sounds like it does, although I don't know the key combos for that), you should be able to flash the Blu (official) firmware, depending on how they set up their updates, or at least get stock recovery going again. Once again, as long as you don't flash anything custom, you should be able to maintain the warranty status.
Please go ahead and create an XDA account, so you can post in other forums. Then, post in the [GENERAL HELP] Post Your Questions Here Instead of Making a New Thread thread (or at least) in the > Blu Vivo Air > Vivo Air Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum. Your device experts can be found there.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Soft-bricked HTC One S. Where to find help with trying to recover it?

Soft-bricked HTC One S. Where to find help with trying to recover it?
Hello.
How it happened
I rooted my HTC One S, then flashed CyanogenMod on it. Used it for a few months, very happy with it. Then I tried to update - automatically, not manually (that was mistake number 1). The phone was then stuck in a bootloop into recovery. (Off>Recovery>Off>Recovery). I didnt know what to do, so I pressed 'Reset phone', or something like that. Since then, the problem has gotten much worse. Now there's a different bootloop: Off>HTC opening screen. That's it. Im desperately trying to access recovery mode, to flash a new ROM to fix the situation.
What did I try
1. Power + VolumeDown does nothing.
2. Installed the HTC One S toolkit. When pressing 'boot into recovery', it says 'device not found'.
3. Tried to boot into recovery from ABD tools, but it says device not found. I tried putting screenshots here, but XDA forum new user limitation doesnt let me. Anyway, if you add this to the imgur url, youll see the screenshots (sorry about this inconvenienace):
/SblBm3M
/6HEvZDk
TL;DR
Phone is stuck in a bootloop. Cant access recovery. Is there any way to fix this situation?
Thank you very much in advance for your time to help me out.
