Soft-bricked HTC One S. Where to find help with trying to recover it?

Hello.
How it happened
I rooted my HTC One S, then flashed CyanogenMod on it. Used it for a few months, very happy with it. Then I tried to update - automatically, not manually (that was mistake number 1). The phone was then stuck in a bootloop into recovery. (Off>Recovery>Off>Recovery). I didnt know what to do, so I pressed 'Reset phone', or something like that. Since then, the problem has gotten much worse. Now there's a different bootloop: Off>HTC opening screen. That's it. Im desperately trying to access recovery mode, to flash a new ROM to fix the situation.
What did I try
1. Power + VolumeDown does nothing.
2. Installed the HTC One S toolkit. When pressing 'boot into recovery', it says 'device not found'.
3. Tried to boot into recovery from ABD tools, but it says device not found. I tried putting screenshots here, but XDA forum new user limitation doesnt let me. Anyway, if you add this to the imgur url, youll see the screenshots (sorry about this inconvenienace):

TL;DR
Phone is stuck in a bootloop. Cant access recovery. Is there any way to fix this situation?
Thank you very much in advance for your time to help me out.

[Q] is my xoom bricked ? (RSD Mode 3)

Stuck at Moto Screen and all it says is (STARTING RSD MODE 3)
what exactly does this mean ?
have i bricked this device?
is there ANYWAY at i can do to fix it ?
also would my warranty from Motorolla cover this kinda of fix just bought it in November ?
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP !
It would depend on how you got there--what did you do to end up stuck at RSD Mode 3?
Also are you stock, rooted? which OS? Need more info.
Well I am rooted and unlocked running and ICS ROM .
And so I went to CWM to restore a previous back up and it Mds M5 mismatch do selected a different back up and it was attempting it but stuck at checking m5 sums or something. So I held power and it said error imteruppted so I reboot it with power and vole and to this point where I can't get into recovery or anything !
Actually it was the same Tom which you have in your sig there
Once I got into that mode and I was sweating bullets...I just kept trying to manually reboot into recovery by trying different buttons combinations and eventually got "entering fastboot protocol" and I had to flash back the stock images from the Motodev site. You may be able to get into "android recovery" and volume up to choose it and get back into CWM, where you could flash a rom from your external sd card.
Anyway, you are not actually bricked if you have any recovery options. Do a search on RSD 3 Mode and see how others recovered.
ok after HOURS of searching i havent came accross anything that helpful to me fixing this problem . can anyone help at all ? or any great ideas

OMG...Google is your friend. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1036476
And there are many more.
I've had that before, popped the back off and disco'd the battery then started in fastboot mode, I then have a batch file that stocks the device.

Unlocking/Recovery question

So I rooted my ATT One X and recently used the tool to get the token and unlock it via HTC. I've tried to install CWM via ROM manager and it says it is installed but if I try and boot to recovery it hangs at a screen with an HTC Logo saying that "this build is for development purposes only, etc..."
If I power down and reboot with the vol down held I get the menu and it says tampered, unlocked, S-On. Trying to boot into recovery from this menu produces the same result.
I'm sure I'm missing something here since I'm a bit of a noob with this but can anyone give me a suggestion?
Thanks in advance!
Ok, looks like I managed to get it down through ADB commands. It's times like this when us noobs actually learn a little bit about our phone
As you've discovered, I don't think that ROM Manager properly installs CWM on our phone. The best way is the one-click install in the Development forum.

[Q] HTC One S Terrible bootloop/soft brick on TrickDroid ,cant find solution

Ok guys, new to the forums but this problem has had me fully occupied for the last 6 hours and I feel like I have tried everything. I had cm9 alpha 12, and went to flash TrickDroid v5.0, something happened and I'm currently stuck in some wierd bootloop/soft brick. I had access to CWM but my SD card wouldn't mount and my adb push attempts didn't do anything, for reasons I don't know why. My phone would start up into the wierd trickdroid bootup and last for like 30 minutes. I tried the solution of another thread on how to fix a bootloop/ softbrick, but now I dont have any CWM access and I can only access the bootloader or the endless bootup screen. I tried using the all in one tool to flash the CWM again but it just restarts it and puts it back into the bootup, and when i restart to go to bootloader to acess the recovery, it goes back to bootup. Every solution I try makes my problem worse, and to top it off I cant turn my phone off and keep it off because it will just start back up. Thanks.
Edit: Problem fixed. Downloaded the original all in 1 tool for htc one s, plugged phone into comp went to fastboot and with the tool flashed the phones stock recovery. I reset to factory defaults and cleared storage with it from the bootloader. After that, I flashed clockwork mod recovery again and my SD card was able to be mounted and accepted files from my adb push, and I reflashed cyanogenmod. Wuzzah!

lol, meant to "quote" not "thanks".
Can you fastboot a new recovery?
Did you do a full wipe coming from CM9 to TrickDroid
Well I can't access the phone from usb on my computer (still takes charge though), so I don't think I can flash a recovery thru fastboot (I'm not too experienced though). From cm9, I wiped all and flashed trickdroid + tweak set, then it just stat their at home screen. CMW being lost occurred later.
Im in the same situation rght now. I have trickdroid and I went into my tweaks to set them back to their original setup...so removing all of the options I chose before when I used the tweaks for the first time. When I rebooted my phone it just hangs on the HTC screen. I can get into recovery and I tried reinstalling trickdroid but its still getting stuck. Not sure what to do at this point. I don't think I can put a recovery file on this since I can't connect it to my computer.
Hopefully someone can help us.
But the thing is I can't access recovery. I try to flash it again with the all in 1 tool and it won't work. It says it went through, but accessing it doesn't work.
If its recognised by USB when plugged in computer just run an ruu that's my solution all The time lol
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
Ok i somehow managed to get TWR on my phone, but still unable to mount the SD. How do I run the RUU? I downloaded it, but the instructions are flawed I think
Connect with USB to.computer go into faatboot USB then run ruu on pc
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
Well I thought the RUU was going to work, but it just stops at the HTC and gives me an error saying I can't. What now?
Ok currently, I relocked my bootloader in an attempt to do the RUU, but I get a 155 Unknown Error up doing such, using the TMOUS 1.53 ruu... other places I have seen say something about returning to the stock img etc, but I'm quite stuck. Any advice appreciated
htc one s stuck in bootloop almost unresponsive
hey guys, got a brain teaser for you.
i have a tmobile htc one s, unlocked, rooted using all in one htc tool, been at it for two days now. im stuck on the boot screen showing its unlocked, i used to be able to get into the boot loader screen but now it seems ive dead ended. ill hold any combination of power and vol up/down, the keys flash for 10 sec and the screen flashes once, i let go and it reboots, keeps that htc screen, after 20-30 sec goes black. my pc doings like it detects a device but i cant locate it. ive used adb and the htc all in one unlock tool trying to get any kind of os to launch.
Shortly before this i was able to go into the boot loader, clear and master reset the files and cache, and search for the rom zip, thus never allowing me to flash. on a journey to place this in the phone through various combinations of the all in one, adb push, and everything else i found on youtube, countless forum posts, i seem to be in a deeper hole now.
I ultimately want to end with a cm10 nightly on my tmo htc one s. I have never done this to a phone without a sd card. i come to this community humbly seeking any and all advice. thank you.

[Q] Possible Soft-bricked phone, in need of Help!

Hello xda-forum/developers.
I'm new to this, so pardon me for asking a question that has been asked a million and one times before.
Just recently my older brother gave me an HTC One S (T-Mobile) he told me the only plot twist was that it wouldn't go past the "HTC quietly brilliant" screen and so, my question here is... is this fixable? I am able to get it to the Boot-up menu and everything.. only other problem is that my computer won't read it unless I go into "Mount and Storage" -> "Mount USB Storage" but even then it shows up as "Removable Disk (E" , but other than that, there's nothing more that I am able to do.
Sorry if I'm leaving anything out, I'm new to this so I don't have much knowledge of what to do. I've watched tutorials of other "HTC One" but non were "HTC One S". If you guys need any further information, just ask, please.
[By the way, the phone says "Tampered" "Unlocked" and the current Rom/Mod or whatever you guys call it CWM Recovery v6.0.2.9]
possible fix
First it needs to be S-OFF.
If it is I would update the recovery with a new TeamWin recovery you can download it Here.
just because that is the most up to date recovery for the device.
if you don't have them you will also need the ADB for windows. this is a great tool for installing it Here.
with the adb installed you can flash the new recovery to the phone. (instructions on TeamWin site)
Once the recovery is loaded, you can boot into recovery
first by holding the VOL down button and press and release the power button while keeping the VOL down button held to bring up the bootloader,
second press VOL down to select Recovery.
once the Recovery loads, select the advanced settings and select ADB sideload.
This allows you to load a new ROM which will allow the phone to boot.
ADB sideload instructions Here.
The ROM that you chose is very dependent on what Hboot version you are running. other than that it is up to you.
I had this problem when I first started to mess with my One S.
i also softbricked my device but so far my only problem is that i cant find a ROM wich runs with hboot 2.13 !?
and im new in the HTC ONE S area so i dont know the ROMs well so i would be very happy if u could help me to find a ROM wich i can run !

HELP Bricked Yashica TAB-X109

Hey, guys. Thank you for your time reading this. Hope you day's going well
So, couldn't find a thread for this device, but I got a Yashica TAB-X109 Android 6 which I managed to brick...
What did I do?
Rooted it using KingRoot
Enabled USB debbuging
Installed TWRP app apk
Naively flashed this image of TWRP custom recovery: https://dl.twrp.me/v500/ (I know, I'm a moron and a total noob)
Now my tablet is stuck on Android logo and can't open recovery mode anymore... It used to boot recovery using Power + Vol UP, but I tried every combination possible and nothing. Also, I scouered the internet for a stock ROM for this device, but not even in this website I can find anything about this brand...
So as of now, I'm holding a piece of garbage which I have no clue what I can do with it. Any ideias you can give me, please?
