I can't find Quadrant, clockQ and some other apps. Does anyone else have this issue, it's like I don't have full market. I am on the stock rom, with no mods at all.
I just did a search for quadrant on my phone as well and it doesn't show up for me either. Weird. I'm also running stock.

Verizon is clueless of course, so I don't know whats going on.
You could try MarketAccess, but that would require rooting.
all show up for me when i search for them in market. Maybe try connecting to wifi and search, herd that makes it so apps like pda net and wireless tether show up again even though verizon requested they be removed

But I don't understand why I'd need to do that. All the demo phones at the Verizon store had these apps.
idk whats up with the TB market, i'm seeing wireless tether and pdanet on the market, but not some normal benchmark apps i usually use. Also on a side note, why would you not root?
Ok so Myverizon I guess does not support the Tbolt yet, that is what Verizon said. But I still can't find quadrant or linpack. She looked in her android market online and said she seen them and she said she wasn't signed in. I looked at my Android online market also, while also not being signed in, and I didn't show linpack or quadrant. I wonder if something is going on with the market. I have not seen anything anywhere to say there is though. How many others can not see these apps?
Just checked and neither Quadrant or Limpack show up in the Market. Strange. Fortunately, I downloaded Quadrant some time ago.

YA, I can't find that any many other apps either. Just updated to MR2. Are we sure that these issues aren't directly connected to the MR2 update?
I definitely want my MLB at Bat app back!
I can't find pulse reader also...only after mr2 update
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA Premium App
has anyone thought that like other previous leaks not all apps are available right away as its technically a different version? I recommend contacting the dev to make sure they publish to MR2 if thats what your on an cant see some apps, also ive noticed on MR2 even the marketplace is in the old style.
Market Issues
The market looks at your your type of phone, OS version and carrier, before showing you a list of apps. One of two things can be happening, the programs you cant find are being worked for your combination of OS and device, or the Market servers being updated and the lists used for device/OS combos are being ignored. Either way give it a little while and things should show back up.
Verizon is adapting to this method of matching so they wont hear anymore complaints of "Hey it let me download the app, but it doesnt work!"
I had a friend over the other day and I thought I'd take a dump on his Droid X with quadrant. Nowhere to be found. I'm in CM7 so I thought it could be my build.prop. He signed into the web-based market and pulled it right up. I did the same and couldn't find it. Maybe the bolt has trouble identifying itself with the market. I pulled it from an old backup so here ya go.

its showing up on gingeritis 1.0 final.
All mentioned apps are showing here on two(2) Thunderbolts - one rooted running the latest MR2 radio with Bamf sense3 preview 4, and also on the wifes stock Thunderbolt.
Not sure if it would help, but have you tried going under settings-manage applications and clearing the cache under the market app?
If nothing else, try this link: http://www.appbrain.com/search?q=quadrant
Hope that helps.
According to Android Police, Netflix has added our device to the supported list!
http://bit.ly/oPqr9l
version 1.3 is supposed to work on our device, but currently the version that you can download from the market is 1.2.2, so I guess that's why it isn't working yet.
downloaded it but it goes back to main screen after putting in email and password
your link is dead it seems here is another

I know, I got kicked out too! =[
I saw it in the market earlier. I thought it had appeared because of some of the tweaking I'd done after rooting today, but quickly realized that is probably preposterous. This makes a lot more sense.
Anyway, it doesn't work for me either. Force quits after trying to log in.
Here's to hoping that 1.3 update is released soon and we can finally watch Netflix over our unlimited 4g data plans!
dropped a 1 star on the app in the market for listing the charge as supported, and it STILL closing after login. here's hoping after enough of those, they'll actually fix the issue. honestly, this is the one app I'm holding out for to make this phone complete for me.
Not working for me either. Reboots after logging in. Seems like netflix pulled the switch a bit too early.

the version downloaded from the market works on the gingerbread leak (i don't think it worked before). maybe netflix requires gingerbread? idk. hopefully that's true only because it means a gingerbread release would be any day

Netflix would not add the Charge to supported devices over a leak, since its you know.....a leak...... and yes, previously most all phones required GB to run netflix.
If it added as a supported device and still won't work on Froyo, then it deserves bad star ratings, if it will support the Charge Froyo with a new version of the app, but that version isn't out yet and they are already adding it to the list of supported devices, it deserves a 1 start review.
has anyone tried it on stock froyo or are we all on modded roms?
Tried on both
Sent from my SCH-I510 using XDA App
2 things:
First, it specifically mentions the Commando with 2.2 as being compatible.. so that's a nod toward Froyo support.
Secondly, it lists the Bionic as being supported.. so maybe they just grabbed a list of phones and called them supported.. or maybe the Charge is going to get Gingerbread soon.
Its definetly becuase they didnt put 1.3 on there. It even says in the description "Netflix 1.3" but has 1.2.2 so thats clearly the problem. But why on earth would they update the description and not the actual app?????
The app downloaded fine from market on my GummyCharged Froyo. But it's the same 1.2.2 version released a month ago. The app description does mention 1.3 - so hopefully an update will be pushed out soon.

I just called Netflix to complain about it not working and they told me that it may be a DRM issue.
The more people that call to complain the faster they will fix the problem. (or they will pull support for our phones)

Its always been a DRM problem.
So the questions we need answered is 1.3 going to clear up those issues or did they just throw the DC on that list for the heck of it.
There is no point in doing anything until the official version on the market is actually 1.3. Then we will find out if anything changed.

I was over on the Samsung Intercept threads on SDX Developers Forums and I saw the below thread linked from there. I figured if it worked for the Moment and the Intercept that it was worth a try on my WiFi only Galaxy Tab. And, IT WORKED!!!
The resolution wasn't great, the sound volume was low, and it was a little choppy...but it worked!! I just watched about 15 minutes of the movie Kick Ass to test it out and it was working!
I don't know if it will work with the GSM or CDMA versions of the Galaxy Tab because I only have the WiFi only version, the GT-P1010. I have FroYo 2.2.1 running on my rooted Galaxy Tab.
Credit needs to go to the original person that posted this. I did not develop this or have anything to do with it. I am merely passing on the information.
Since I don't meet the requirements yet for minimum posts...I can't post a link.
If you head over to SDX Forums and look under "Tablets" --> "Samsung Galaxy Tab" --> "Tab -Development" --> and then you'll see my NETFLIX post.

Hooray! Confirmed working on my P1010 tab. Awesome share!!
Both the apk and the one in the market gives me an error, the app opens and i can access my account and movies, but when trying to actually watch a movie i get something along the lines: "Your device needs to be updated to watch instantly from netflix. Visit the manufacturer or netflix/NRD to obtain more information"
At this point im not sure if its because im outside USA (we just got netflix a couple of days ago) and android is just not supported here yet or if its something about my device.
Im running rooted gingerbread on a verizon CDMA Galaxy Tab 7".
How about using ip hide and set ur country as usa then try configure back ur netflix. Give it try man.

The .apk is below, please report whether it works.
According to Sky it should only work on:
HTC Desire
HTC Desire S
HTC Desire HD
HTC Incredible
HTC Sensation
Samsung Galaxy S
Samsung Galaxy S II.
And it only works on Froyo (2.2) and Gingerbread (2.3), so no ICS yet using the official app.
There are also some issues with root and DRM begin not able to see some content.

Yeah - i'd love to try to see if the .apk might work - no harm since its a free app anyway - We could be waiting a long time to get it on other devices. Especially like a tablet.......... Any upload would be greatly apreciated
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.bskyb.skygo
Apparently it's compatible with the HP Touchpad, but can't test until I get home tonight.
I sent it to my touchpad too I will check tonight. Disappointed about no ICS love for my Nexus ...
Anyone able to get the APK file up? I want to try it anyway
Just got it from my Desire....
I've installed this on my rooted Galaxy Nexus (4.02) and when I try and sign in it says," Sorry, Sky Go is not currently supported on this device. Please see FAQs for more information.". :-(
Installs and runs on rooted galaxy nexus, however when you go to sign in, a message pops up saying sky go is not supported on this device. going to take a lot more trickery to convince it that its running on one of the other devices. Thanks for the APK though.
I've installed it onto my GS2 (Villian Rom 3.0 (2.3.5) rooted obviously) installs fine but will only play Sky News.. all over channels in my subscription just sit on the loading screen.
Sometimes a error flashes up briefly but to quick to see what it says.
As Sky News is a free to air channel this must be down to DRM restrictions on the other channels and therefore this is why its checking for root access???
Thanks for the upload, installs fine on my Nexus but then I cannot sign in, "unsupported device"
thanks for the file tried running it on my transformer, it installs loads in horizontal mode only and won't let me login as my device isn't supported yet! But its a start I suppose cheers
*waits for someone clever to "tweak" the .apk to make it work*
Wouldnt changing the buildprop to that of the SGS2 make it work?
I think thats what we will all be waiting for now, I just wonder who will be first, tweaked version from xda devs or oficial version for ICS from Sky.
I can't even download it because of root presumably.
Anyone know if it works on jailbroken iPhones?
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S2 using Tapatalk
Root blocking things on my desire HD. Not even sky news loading.everything gets stuck on 0%
yeah it works on jailbroken iPhones so blocking root makes no sense
"Not supported" message on my CM9 SGS2, eagerly awaiting some clever dude to tweak it!
As an added data point, stock Original Galaxy Tab, .apk from this thread, starts OK but blocked on login due to being an "unsupported device".
I'm rolling with a Nexus S right now, and just discovered and started using Google Wallet. I know that the One X(L) has the NFC chip, but can anyone confirm that it is compatible with Google Wallet? It's not a deal-breaker, but it is up there on my list of features that I'd rather not do without.
I thought wallet is only available on sprint/ unlocked nexus phones.
Depends on Carrier. AT&T wont allow it because its putting all of its resources into Isis.
Seems to work on the nexus s that I have on at&t, although I have not tested it by tapping the phone yet. The software installed and I was able to set it up though.
AT&T might not support it, but we will find a way to put it on

There could be so many security holes though if we went about it that way. I think in this case it'd be best to wait for whatever comes out ISIS or whatever.

That makes no sense, if its an at&t branded phone then its going to support what at&t allows. Just because you use another carrier doesn't mean that changes
Starting sometime soon unlocking phones for other carriers is going to become illegal so its definitely not going to be a priority

Lol makes perfect sense to me since I don't use at&t. Especially since at&t will unlock your phone with a 10 minute phone call to their customer service.
Also will us prepaid users even be able to use Isis? Probably not, so will get screwed.
How are they going to make sim unlocking illegal? Jail breaking is already perfectly legal and you can even clone your phone as long as you own both devices and pay for your service.
