Yup, I've flashed almost every room and I'm sticking to this now that it's stable. I really think you'll love it, let me know if you need help.

yeah you have to flash a froyo package that has the froyo bootloaders. try JPU or EZbase.

Correct, you have to flash froyo ROM, then flash a stock voodoo + froyo kernel. From here follow the instructions from the OP who posted the CM7 ROM.

[Q]froyo theme to GB?

just wondering about the themes, pulldown menu, circle battery gauge, the blue alien contact and dial mods here.will they work or be kept working on the infuse if i flash to the GB beta rom(or future GB roms)?
will everything go back to stock form and whatever the ROM developers push with their ROM package?
im on the infused 1.5.3 with stock kernel. also wondering what kernel right now is best to match with my ROM?
thank you.

Most all of the user customizations will work with the Infuse v2 Beta
just like with the Infuse 1.53 but like any other customizations you will need to re-apply themes, wallpapers and any other stuff you have customized.
If you flash any custom roms at all you will not get the OTA GB or any other updates from AT&T unless you go back and reflash the Froyo stock rom first.
Hope this helps
Good luck!

Are oyu sure about that? The Gingerbread framework has probably changed in such a manner that themes for Froyo will break on GB.

You're gonna need it if you flash a Froyo theme onto Gingerbread.

if you mean any custom roms that are based of the tmous stock rom? then not yet.
if you have a custom rom on and need to flash to original you can always do a nandroid restore of that rom
if you need the RUU for whatever reason get it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1074559 the latest tmous is the 8th one down
going back to stock myself just can't handle random reboots and poor data connections

what rom did you flash that this occured?
i havent flashed any roms yet since im waiting to see if there is one created based on the sensation4g stock rom. plus the stock with no bloat has been wonderful for me so far.
i'm gonna wait another week as the devs should have their roms/kernels updated a few times with bug fixes then im gonna try and flash then.
best bet is to ruu back to stock with the link posted above. gives you stock tmo rom with the original bootloader only s-off. from there you can root and run stock rooted and debloat yourself.
I'm about to get the sensation. Is the stock rom pretty good with a simple debloat?

Yeah debloat yourself. Sorry just sounds funny. Ok with that said, its always handy to have the stock Rom around when you need it.

All it took was a 10 second search on the dev forum for 'stock gingerbread'.
My apologies on the first link. While it does have downloads for both Froyo and GB roms, they are the bin files that are of slightly less use to G2x users than to O2x users. Still could have used the GB one to flash back to stock, but it's a bit more involved of a process.

I don't think you can anless you get back to stock with odin or CWM. But i maybe wrong.
Easiest and best way (if the rom you're on has an update file or "non-wipe") ................just flash it.
You'll be back to the way the rom originally is without any changes to data

huh? this doesn't make any sense. If u want custom roms but stock theme, I recommend u stick with romracer alien builds (both ics and gb), as well as anything by mhx (superlite 3.1 is gb, 5.1 is ics). They both tend to stay away from theming.
Seancreamz makes roms, and the whole point behind his are to have as close to aosp ics look as possible. if u want stock look, ur using the wrong rom
my bad, i read it wrong, i thought he meant reverting back to the roms stock look after flashing a theme
