Yup, I've flashed almost every room and I'm sticking to this now that it's stable. I really think you'll love it, let me know if you need help.

yeah you have to flash a froyo package that has the froyo bootloaders. try JPU or EZbase.

Correct, you have to flash froyo ROM, then flash a stock voodoo + froyo kernel. From here follow the instructions from the OP who posted the CM7 ROM.

I need kernel for my Samsung Galaxy Mini (s5570)

Hello, I'am tried TJ_Style kernel, but it don't works. So maybe we have more kernels for S5570? I need to overclock it. Or maybe I'am doing something wrong? If you can, please - make a video how to install TJ_Style kernel to S5570.
P.S. Sorry for my bad English, I'am from Lithuania and I'am only 12.
P.s.s. My phone is rooted.

Try this second kernel
It don't works to... Something more? Help, I want to overclock my phone.
I think you were not on froyo on gingerbread, right?
No no no... I'm using froyo (2.2.1), not ginger (2.3.*). So what's the matter? Why I can't install other kernel?
I second that, i tried all of tj's kernel on all roms from froyo to gingerbread 2.3.4 and his andro id 3.2 etc. None worked
any help?
The same problem for me. Maybe S5570 has more kernels, not only Tj? Because Tj style kernel didn't worked for me....

Follow the instructions on the link I posted previously to make sure you get GB flashed correctly - correct bootloaders / no ext 4 issues etc...
Then check the Dev section for the latest roms - Valhala 1.1 is nice....
I don't use Wifi a whole lot so I can't really comment on that.

Just read OP instructions for whatever ROM you are about to flash...very carefully until you completely understand the process. If you have any questions, read through the entire associated thread as they have probably already been asked and answered.
Just read, read, read. All of the information you need is available on these boards. I've bootlooped and soft bricked my phone several times, and each time it was because I hadn't followed the OP instructions to a "T".
If you have done everything above and still have a question it is likely that it is a good question, and there are a ton of really nice helpful people that will jump in and help you out.
EDIT: GB battery life is awesome.....
yeah and your helping me out is great looked around found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1215748 seems too be easy too get on GB with no mess up
Just so the ops not alone, I flashed the deodexed and rooted kd1 then the bali 3.3uv kernal. When I try and flash adrenaline shot 7 i get stuck at the boot logo, any ideas here?
If any1 can help you get out of the loop, that would be great but if you can't you can try the following.
1. If you can get into CWM you can try to do a factory reset or reinstall the rom.
2. If you can not get into CWM you can try to use odin and flash a new rom.
the thread can be closed now thanks for all the help htaak

Did you try to manually push the files in through File explorer? Also, I think dsexton made the adrenaline shot on gingerbread roms, so it may not be 100% compatible on a froyo build. You might want to try some older versions of it if they are available.

All it took was a 10 second search on the dev forum for 'stock gingerbread'.
My apologies on the first link. While it does have downloads for both Froyo and GB roms, they are the bin files that are of slightly less use to G2x users than to O2x users. Still could have used the GB one to flash back to stock, but it's a bit more involved of a process.

Bit of confusion

So I've been reading since I did my root and flashed infusion 1.8 I'm wanting to mess around with custom roms I was seeing there is an miui it says it's 2.3.5 based my question is do I have to have ginger bread to flash this rom is that what it means when it's 2.3.5 based? I've googled and looked around the forums and couldn't really find anything on the subject so even a link would help I dont mind reading for myself thx guys
If you feel you are a noob, I would recommend non miui or non cm9 roms.

and just for future reference if it says there 2.3.5. based or whatever os base they are does that mean i have to be updated to flash it?
