First of all, my english very very bad, i will try my best to explain for you.
I was using ARHD for a long times and my phone was running smooth, not thing to complain.
But to day, i play some Modern Combat 3 as usual, after that i exit the game, turn off the screen. few minutes later i press power button to turn on screen, but nothing happen. the screen stay black, but the button under the screen is light. i wait for ~1min but screen not display. i remove the battery then insert and turn on the power but the phone didnt turn on. it's vibrate once every ~30sec. i cant enter bootloader. Press volume down and power same time but nothing happen. the phone dont even vibrate.
if you not understand which part, tell me, i will try to explain it.
looks like a harmless freeze to me in the first place...
did u try to pull out the battery and reboot after?!

Red led appear for ~5sec then it turn off, the phone vibrate once every 20s like when i try to turn it on.

It is like ARHD IRC chat. Sometimes it takes a little while for a response. You can also ask in the thread as well.

I think you should remove sdcard, then try power on. Good luck!

Hi,
I just upgraded my ROM by my problem is when charging, it can't seem to charge the phone fully, the batt status is charging forever. I figure I have to hard reset my device but I don't know how.
Also, I want to know if there a handsfree mode for talking on the phone or do I need to install an appropriate software? THanks

Try pressing, and holding it for 2 secs or so, the green call button during a call!! It will work..

My XDA 2 has no problems with this. It is stated in the maual anyway! But during a phonecall, you press and hold the green hardware button!!! Just as long as it takes to give you a certain Icon in the start bar.... It states speakerphone enabled...
That workes on my XDA 2 and should also work on XDA 1!!!
The battery for my sensation ran out completely due to normal usage and now it won't even turn on with the charger plugged in. When I plug the charger in the charging light flashes a few times followed by longer flashes with the light staying on longer and then no light at all. My phone shows no sign of life.
I was on 1.1.8 with rcmix 2.3.
Any suggestions?
Boot into bootloader , pull battery hold down volume and power button. Had same issue and it worked for me

but to answer your question... i don't believe there are any guides for that. and it does, in fact, sound like a hard brick. i would look into replacing it. if someone on here thinks of something i didn't or knows how to fix this.. chime in. but if i were you i would just get it replaced.
and fyi... there might be flaming towards you for posting this in the 'dev' section versus the 'q&a' section. be prepared.

i wasn`t laughing at the fact that he brick his phone, but the fact that he been here since 2010 should know that this is the wrong section

Excuse me for wrong section.
In any case i can't charge this phone and go to the bootloader. always black screen.
Are you sure your battery is not dead? Try removing it / putting it back or try another battery.. There are known charging issues and theres a thread about it somewhere.
Aramis73 have you tried to remove the battery and keep it off for about 30 minutes, reinsert it, load it with the current and try to turn it on.
Did this just happen all of a sudden or did you do something you weren't supposed to?

thanks for your answer but the phone has no battery overnight.
this morning i reinsert the battery but the phone won't power on.
You should trade it in for a Samsung Galaxy S II, we have loads of people who don't understand forum sections, I'm sure you'll feel at home.

Sounds like you had the crappy recovery and got boned without a charge.
What you need is :
A. Another Sensation Battery to try and boot with.
or
B. A wallcharger for the battery itself alone.
Once powered back on you need to flash the modded Revolutionary CWM available here
So, after you have downloaded the above zip place it on the root of your SD and power into bootloader mode. It will ask you to update, agree & you'll be back in business in no time.
This is the best case scenario you can hope for.

you mean when you wanna wake up the phone/turn it off? do you feel i slight click when you press it?
When I want to wake it up I just need to press hard and it works.
To turn the screen off a lot of the times it turns off and lights up again.
I do feel a slight click when I click it but it seems that I need to press it harder to make it respond.
Sometimes I feel the click and it doesn't seem to receive it.

would you open the back cover and try pressing it directly? you might not find it quick, but it's up there. does it respond normally now?

i fear there's a problem with the button then... if you're under warranty that shouldn't be a big issue...
The problem is that my screen broke a week after this problem started and I'm pretty sure fixing my screen will remove the warranty :-\

because it will cost more I though maybe before I send it for repair I'll try and fix this one by myself (repairing the screen seems like a lot of work that can mess up my device for good...

as it seems, this issue is software related. i'd suggest you to flash a custom ROM and try, but you need to take the phone for repair...that will remove your warranty :/

Yeah. seems like i'm not the only one with the problem... will try and flash a different rom after fixing my phone Thanks for the help!
Guys, when i put a JB ROM, when i make one call, the screen turns black, and the proximity sensor don't work. I only have this black screen, and i'm unable to use the keyboard and even hang up. Sometimes i have to press the power button until the phone turn off.
How to solve this ?

No problem! Glad it worked - I remember how frustrating it was when I stumbled across this issue myself.
Out of curiosity, did you end up using the same settings I used? Or did you have to use something different?
for me worked well in PS1 50 and PS2 60.
