I have looked about and it seems that there is no way to mount internal storage.
I looked this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=531310
and one other but they all spoke about using adb to mounth the SD card. This is not what i need, i have a card reader for this.
I have a custom rom, recovery and samsung galaxy S2.

You are in the Captivate section, the quoted post above is for an HTC legacy device. Go to your SGS II device forum (there are several, you can find yours via the FIND YOUR DEVICE search box in the upper right) and search in that specific area.

My god I've been at this for hours and decided to finally give in and ask what's wrong here. I've followed the instructions perfectly but I always get stuck at the part that says "SD card is either not mounted or doesn't work." Now I've done just about everything you can do with Android on my captivate so I'm not new to this but on my captivate the SD card in most guides is usually the internal one. So my question: To use Ace Hack Kit do you need an EXTERNAL SD card? If so won't removing it make the phone not work?

You need an SD card. There is no internal card on these phones. Just the emmc chip which houses your partitions. It needs the card for the root process. Also its good to just have one for storage. They are real cheap at best buy for the class 10. The phone will work without one, but for rooting its required. Also for installing custom roms you will need one.

NOW I watched the noob video.. I looked everywhere.. I have seen some things but nothing tailored to my phone. First of all, My External SD card is located in the Directory /mnt/sdcard/external_sd. I have not found anything that helps. I have seen some things about rewriting scripts and such, but not for my phone. I don't know if those will even work. My phone is rooted by Odin, latest ICS 4.0.4 build.
DOES ANYONE know of anything to help me.. the phone storage is only 1.2GB and the "USB storage" is only 1.2GB my External SD is 8GB I'll even go manual. If someone could point me in the right Direction I'll just manually move the apps to my External_sd directory. if that will even work that is.
please help and thank you for reading this and your time!
Hello.
this is my first time posting here but I need help. My SD card is not working with my galaxy s3. It knows its in there but I can't use it at all. When I go into my file directory to get to my main place were downloads/media and stuff is, this is my directory. /storage/emulated/0/ and all of my stuff is there. But I am out of space and I am a big gamer so that's why I have a 32 GB microsd. On the other hand, I used this same SD card for cm7 and cm10 encore (nook color) and it worked completely fine. Before I rooted and put in cm10 for my galaxy I formatted the SD card. I mean the phone knows its in there, because it says "available space: 29.71GB". And app2Sd does not work, as it says "not a real SD card or is being emulated" please Xda I need your help. Thanks in advance.

Hi all,
I've just purchased a Samsung Tab 2 7.0 P3113 due to the fact that it has an external SD Card slot. I have found that I can not move any applications to the external card. This was one of the primary reasons I purchased the device. I have been using android devices for a while and my first Sony X10, was rooted and running custom roms within the first few weeks after I purchased it. In any case, I have read a number of threads, regarding this subject for the Tab 2 but I have not been able to have an installed app be moved to the external SD Card. Most post will say you have to root the device, (which I have) and use apps such as App2SD. I have even gone as far as loading a custom ROM, but no success. My last resort is to actually partition and repackage a ROM for an external 64GB SD Card and attempt to boot off of it so I will have more space. If anyone has truly been able to move an installed app to the external SD Card could you please point me in the right direction.
I would like some help on this too. But the silence is haunting.
Found this under a compilation thread that covers the 3113's and is down further on the same page in this forum.

I hope this helps and sorry for the re-re-re editing
AFAIK (and correct me if Im wrong veterans), is a defect of the OS not hardware. ICS and JB of the GT2's do not allow it as the internal memory is already labeled as sdcard. or that seems to be the prevailing opinion so far. I would like a work around but short of flashing a custom rom and/or kernel it seems unlikely to happen. Downside to that is some things don't work all the way in some roms. Ahh for the old days of my stock+ on my incredible. wait. Im still using it from back last summer and it works fine. TY wildstang!!

Hail Link2SD !!
Only way to move Apps to ExternalSD is using Link2SD for ICS / JB. I have done lot of research and there is no other way. However Link2SD does not move the data files and hence your internal memory will still be filled up as and when you install more apps but at slower rate.
If you want to install games like NFS-MW , Asphalt etc you have to use DirectoryBind tool to move the huge data files (More than 1.5 GB) to external card.
There is a nice tutorial how to use Link2SD here on the forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=919326).
You can use ext4 partition as i found ext2 and ext3 were not being recognized by Link2SD. Just a pointer.
PS: ICS and above no longer support moving apps to SD card. If i am wrong experts correct me.
root is your best bet. check this link, use the script and follow the directions. this script worked wonders. my tab thinks i have 32 gb internal and 4gb sd.

After my phone(m110s) start showing "Format SD Card" and internal, external memory showing as "Unavailable" I knew my phone's internal memory is dead. So I created 2 partitions is SD card(16gb class 10) like this, first one 5GB Fat 32 Primary and other one 11GB Ext4 Primary. After that I flashed stock M110s rom and SpeedMod(because it will help to convert sd to ext4). And I could see Internal Memory as 5GB and external memory as "Unavailble" I was fine that. Because USB Storage showed "11GB" and It worked very well. After few weeks I found stock GB rom very boring.
So I flashed CM10 (M110S Version) through CWM. Now I can't open camera, gallery, file manager doesn't show anything, can't download anything but I can listen to songs, when I connect to PC via Mass Storage I can see that 5GB but in phone I can't see that partition
Plz help me :crying::crying::crying:
Hi!
Unfortunately there's no section on XDA for your device. Nor can I find anything relevant to your question, so you would need to ask here....
>*Android Development and Hacking*>*Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
That is the best section for any questions about your device.
Good luck!

I'm sorry i'm breaking the rules
but
i'm 99.9% sure (even tho the samsung was not mentioned)
that he's device is samsung galaxy s (korean)
and rom he installed can be found here
and samsung galaxy s Q&A forums are found here
so Yusuf you need to read the thread where you got the ROM from and see its alpha(very early) build and most of things are not working yet
on your place i would go back to stock for now and wait for rom developers to finish what they started (if they will at all considering it has not been updated since 2013)
Ps MOD please feel free to use/remove/do whatever you want with the post i know its not my place
Here is an extremely useful thread on your device....
>*Samsung Galaxy S I9000*>*Galaxy S I9000 General*>*[Tutorial] Pit Stop for Galaxy S Korean Version [SHW M110S]
Also, a senior member pointed out that your device does have a section and can be found here...
>*Samsung Galaxy S I9000
Any questions about your device would go in the Q&A section... But always remember to include your model number in posts....and only flash things that are said to be OK for your model number. Its the i9000 section....but also has posts for your model. Flashing files made for the i9000 would probably end badly tho.
