[q] galaxy s2 vodafone nz help - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
I currently own a Samsung Galaxy S2 which I bought in NewZealand parallel imported (not vodafone nz store)
Few months ago, I rooted this phone and installed v 9.7 ICS Remix rom
But it felt weird so i decided to unroot my phone
I have, or may have not unrooted my phone but here are the details:
MODEL GTI9100
ANDROID VERSION 4.0.3
I9100XXLPQ
kernel version
3.0.14-I9100XXLPQ-CL223505 [email protected] #3
build number
IML74K.XXLPQ
The other day I tried to update via samsung Kies and it says:
Your device does not support updating via kies.
I tried reinstalling my CSC to XEU and KOR and still does the same thing.
I tried to reinstall CSC to VNZ (vdoafone nz) but it is not on the list.
How can I reinstall everything on this phone to make it factory ? Like everything is like how it was when i purchased it.

check the i9100 dev section. U will have to use odin to completely restore a stock tar, and then kies will update

[Q] Samsung Galaxy SLI9003 (Froyo 2.2.1) - Can't update to Gingerbread

I own a Samsung Galaxy SLI9003 (Froyo 2.2.1), which I purchased in the United Arab Emirates. Here are the details regarding the firmware running on it:
PDA I9003jvkd1
Phone I9003jxka4
CSC I9003ojvkc1
When I connect my phone to my PC through Kies, it tells me that the firmware my device is running, does not support being updated through Kies. Can anyone help as to how to go about updating to Gingerbread and what version of the stock ROM I should be flashing, since I cannot update via Kies?
flash using odin....
look at gt-i9003 threads
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1368
I did go through a bunch of threads, but I can't figure out what version of the Gingerbread stock ROM i should be flashing onto my phone.
Ok, after going through another set of threads. I found out the official UAE version of Gingerbread is I9003JPKPE(2.3.6).
Would I be able to flash it onto my phone directly from Froyo 2.2.1? I'm trying not to brick my phone, being a newbie and all.
Or would I have to FIRST flash I9003XXKPE first, and THEN flash I9003JPKPE onto my phone? If so, how would I go about flashing I9003JPKPE firmware after I have successfully flashed I9003XXKPE onto my device?

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Ace (GT-S5830) Multi-CSC Error

Hello,
I've got a Samsung Galaxy Ace bought from Phones 4 u about a year ago. It came with Android 2.3.3 out of the box and has been fine. I'm using an O2 Sim Card (phone was bought on O2 PAYG) but appears to be a generic unlocked phone (XEU). Details are:
PDA: S5830XWKPY
PHONE: S5830XWKPA
CSC: S5830XEUKP1
I'd been interested lately that a lot of my friends have got the 2.3.6 upgrade through Kies, but mine is still waiting - KIES reports 2.3.3 is the latest for my phone and an OTA check on the phone itself says there is no update available. I investigated further and have found the following error message displayed on the Android Recovery screen <3e> (note this phone has NEVER been flashed or rooted)
-- Appling Multi-CSC --
Can't access to '/system/csc/XEU/system'.
I'm pretty IT literate and phone savvy but have no idea what this message means and wondered if it could be the cause of me not getting updates. I checked my wife's Galaxy Y and she does not have this error message.
Should a phone bought from a store be showing this message (phone was brand new and had all the original cellophane and screen covers intact) Should I take it back to the store, or try a factory/reset wipe, or try flashing via ODIN?
Any advice appreciated

[Q] galaxy note 2 and odin3

Hi all
I have the GT-N7105T (Samsung Galaxy Note 2 - Telstra variant) and I just recently flashed a Galaxy Note 2 international firmware from Hong Kong via Odin3.
When I try to flash back the stock firmware that came with the phone, it fails. So my question is, How do I reinstall the stock firmware and get it back to the Telstra firmware via odin3?
To help out, odin3 fails just after sboot.bin and I am aware that has something to do with the bootloader. But I would much rather get help from experienced people before I go and possibly turn my phone into an expensive brick
I guess I couldn't wait for the android 4.3 update but I wish to return back to android 4.1.2.
Any help would be extremely appreciated
