Hey, anyone still got Sky Go working on their Nexus S ? It was working via the test APK, but this morning it just stopped with the dreaded "device not supported message". Seeing one the other threads it would seem I am not alone in it stopping, but wondered if anyone else still has it working or any ideas to perhaps get it working ?
I'm on 2.3.6, and device is NOT rooted.
Cheers
Dave

Hello all. I have a Tmobile Samsung Vibrant, and a few weeks ago I went to use the camera and got a camera failed message. I rebooted and it was fine, for a day then got the message again. I ended up buying a replacement camera, installed it. Camera worked for a few days then I got that message again. Someone in the vibrant section suggested using odin and flashing to stock. reluctantly I did, and my camera worked fine, for a few days. Then, you guessed it I got the camera fail message. Does anyone know of anything I could try? Is there something else in the phone that could be causing this? Sorry for the long post. Thanks Gregg
might be a hardware problem...
OK. Any idea if or anything I could replace?
bumptiy bump for some help.
So I recently rooted my Nexus S 4G and then returned to stock. I wanted to try the ICS rom to see how ti was then went back to Gingerbread. I found that when I unrooted, Google Wallet does not work anymore. The app just initializes and then force closes after about 15 seconds. I looked all over forums and what not to see if anyone else had the same problem and had found a solution and didnt find anything substantial enough to fix my problem. I contacted the Google Wallet team about it and they were helpful but in the end told me rooted devices couldnt be guaranteed access to the app because of security concerns.
Ive tried the obvious solutions (check if NFC is on, update the app) and nothing has worked thus far. Does anyone have any idea if this can be fixed or is my phone blocked from Google Wallet for good? I'm running stock 2.3.7. I returned to stock using a "1ClickToStock" app i found which brought me to 2.3.4 and then did OTA updates to get back to 2.3.7. In the Google Wallet app it says my OS is "sojus GWK74 Nexus S 4G release-keys" in the About section. That doesnt really sound like a Google branded OS so maybe I just got shafted on the return to stock thing I got. Regardless I dont see how being blocked out would make the app crash consistently. If anyone has any idea of how to fix this please let me know
Also, I'm new here so I'm not sure if this goes here or the Nexus S forum or somewhere else. I figured its more a Google Wallet question anyway.
I hate to bump but I cant find any solutions to this
Hello,
How are you?
Yesterday I received my official OTA ics upgrade.
I installed it.
Everything works like wi-fi and all that.
The only problem is Google Play.
Since the upgrade, I cannot upgrade installed apps.
I either get a 941 error or it says the download will begin at a latter time.
I already tried clearing the data and cache, but the problems remains...
Anyone else having this issue? Is there a solution?
Or do I have to wait for a future fix from HTC or Google...
Cheers!
I have the galaxy S, Non-ICS and this keeps happening to me. I believe it is a problem at Google's end and not ours.

Try a factory dat a refresh that should sort it out for you
Happened to me in the beginning but after 2-3 reboots it stopped and it never happened again.
Hello,
I have never rooted my Atrix 2 and it is pretty much stock. I have researched the interwebs for the past two months from time to time to see if anyone else (and there are a lot) who have "Wifi error" when trying to turn on their wifi. It is not a router issue because I have tried at my own home, friends, relatives, McDonalds, the library, etc but Wifi error persists. Reset the phone three times, taken battery out, and leaving it off for a few hours have also been tried. I was wondering if anyone knows how to solve this issue? I have researched on this forum but I couldn't find a relavant one.
I was hoping that upgrading to ICS will fix the issue but I cant even upgrade to ICS because the update has been fixed to be downloaded via wifi only. I know it is OTA but was wondering if anyone has packaged/is it packageable to be downloaded off the internet?

Everything's working great except it keeps giving update available notices and this is after she has updated it..4 times. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix? Or should i tell her she's stuck with Marshmellow..
