[Q]Will I get all data lost after cf-root and cwm !?

same as the topic !
I just want to add some theme to my phone by applying cf-root and cwm, am I going to lost everything ?

Nop.You can root your phone using cf-root and all your data will be safe.Even if you apply a theme your data will remain intact.

Yes just flash the zip through cwm..But remember to flash it for only that firmware for which it is specified.

Wifi not working (ICS)

hey guyz i have installed ics on my sgr and till now the wifi was working fine but i installed the on screen keys mod and then to remove them i installed the backup again and now my fone is detecting wifi and even connecting but i cannot browse the net neither can i sign in to gmail. plz help me fast

Did wipe cache and factory reset???

yup i did thrice but did not work while i wass setting up my phone again and was signing in to my gmail account it kept on showing signing in and the blue bars kept on loading for half an hour it went so then i shut my fone down.

I have the same problem
The wifi was connected but I can't browse or sign in gmail

Maybe reset the router could help

No drop out or any issue with wifi for me. I use net heavily in mobile.

Its improved then gb for me

Ehich odin version r u using? If its 1.85 den try 3.07 odin version it may help

Don't format or wipe cache if you haven't done yet, it will cause more problems, i too faced same thing but wiping and formating made my phone dead, so SSC people replaced MoBo, just boot into download mode if you can and try flashing other ROM.

Firstly i thot its a matter of the custom rom i am using. But certainly its not. I hv been using n trying many custom roms. Suddenly my fon loses network.n reoots. It happens 2-3 times n then the fin functions properly. Is that a problem of my simcard? Plz help. Cause i got reboots for stock rom too

My fon is jst one year n 3 months old. It must nt be the battery. Cz i replaced my battey in july only. Battery us givin good backup too.

Hm, mind if i ask you some questions about this?
1. What rom were you using when this first happened?
2. Did you EVER overclock your device?
(over-overclocking and seting to apply on boot can cause this problem)
Well, thats all the questions. But, i do have a solution IF ITS NOT DUE TO THE PROCESSOR, so, download the update files from androidauthority, just search "How to update Galaxy fit 2.3.4", yes 2.3.4, for now, the package must have alot of seperate files, why? Because my theory is that you have corrupted your CSC or Modem files, so just flash that wait for a reboot, and do everything normaly, than you can flash CWM again and continue flashing ROMs =)

I was using cm10 by yajna... it was too slow.. so i overclocked. I guess i had checked the the set on reboot option before flashin cm10. .. i was using official cm7 rom. At that time..
Secondly..i am not getting what you said about 2.3.4 n all. Plz help me. M still getting reboots.

If you donot want to change your rom simply reboot in recovery mode( home key + power button) the wipe clear data option and then all is well...Never try to overclock over for the sake of making it fast ....
even if you want to try overclocking( which i dont recommend) donot tick the remember button or tick the set on every boot... you will know yourself the safe overclocking parameters....:angel:.....

Which version of xultimate are you using? Use version 2.2
You want sdk manager just for adb or something else too?

I am not sure
I think xultimate works on its own
Just download xultimate version 2.2 and check if it works fine, then great else.......
Try the kitchen (team lambent, i think)

In xultimate i have a problem on step 3 it gives me fatal error or sthing like that dont remember

are you referring to that java error that comes in red???
use xultimate 2.2 it had worked for me
if you are getting the error with a particular apk, manually delete that .odex from the file where you have put everything for deodexing
