hey guyz i have installed ics on my sgr and till now the wifi was working fine but i installed the on screen keys mod and then to remove them i installed the backup again and now my fone is detecting wifi and even connecting but i cannot browse the net neither can i sign in to gmail. plz help me fast

yup i did thrice but did not work while i wass setting up my phone again and was signing in to my gmail account it kept on showing signing in and the blue bars kept on loading for half an hour it went so then i shut my fone down.
I have the same problem
The wifi was connected but I can't browse or sign in gmail
Maybe reset the router could help

which rom , kernel r u using ??
if stock then try.
1. reboot
2. if step 1 doesnt work then boot into recovery n try wipe cache n wipe dalvik cache
3. if step 2 doesnt work then try flashin stock rom again.
before flashin try to take cwm backup if ur phone

Dial *#*#0842#*#* from ur dialpad. You will get the Vibration Test menu. Check if vibration is working fine in Auto and Manual mode. If its working, then prob might be with firmware. U can try some flashing same or different stock firmwares. If it is not working in the test menu, then u need to take it to Service centre buddy :fingers-crossed:

Last night i moved to GB coz phone wasnt booting at all on cm10 and i couldnt flash anything or restore in recovery. Now on gb, vibration is not working for me. I tried rebooting many times but still problem. Any ideas?

you must have performed this..bt still
wipe cache,data and dalvik cache too...
also use some external apps to test the vibrator..may be stock app not be working..!!

Which ROM you've installed?
On hyperdroid v2 with Asads custom kernel.
But this is not rom problem.
Coz i already use cm 7, cm 10, miui , etc.

It can be up to it. Do backup this ROM and install another ROM and see if you have the same problem.
But this problem since 2 mnths
This is not a rom problem
Coz yesterday i flash stock rom n today at morning miui but the problem is not solved

Actually wipe completely i.e using cwm do a data wipe then format all partitions after that do the same again.
Now flash via odin the latest non corrupt stock ROM u got (ddkt3 ??) see if the problem persists if its a telephony or Ril bug then this should fix that but if its a hardware bug then well Service center it is :good:
PS Guessed a RIL or telephony bug cause of the frequency of roms you flash also its a source problem of miui:good:
I already wipe data , cache.
N yestarday i flash stock ddkt1 rom by odin then update via Kies ddkt3 but the problem is not gone.
I think its an software problem..

Clearly it can only be ur hardware problem try using some headsets and check if the voice gets improved or any other microphone hardare like bluetooth and u might find ur problem

Yes, i konw that its an hardware peroblem .
I had downloaded few wallpaper via chrome and i am now stuck with the above problem. The notification is not going away at all and I have around 20 notifications.
I already tried clearing chrome cache, data and also used a third party software to clear all cache.
I am currently on CM10.1 nightly. I have googled the problem and queries posted on phandroid forum were not helpfully :'(

I try this new build and finally wifi issue is solved for me!
Before this build I try everything to solve wifi issue and nothing help, now, with this new build everything is working perfect and finally this tab is fully functional, battery life is ok

I don't have IR blaster on my P6200
My tablet is rooted and I have cwm recovery so don't know anything about brick bug

I had this issue when I use this firmware:
-tab restarts after 1 min to 5 mins interval (after device turned on).
-having errors rooting my device.
-the "android is upgrading performance" not exactly the word but this appear everytime the device turned on.
but after I wipe data/factory reset in CWM, everything works perfectly!
As of now I'm not encountering the random restart (from some apps) that happened to me from my last official firmware.
Still monitoring my device..

Yup, I was using Exynos Abuse last time (not working now). but now I'm using the "CWM and root.zip" method. works fine

The last time i tried it is safe.. dont forget to tick ever root.. so you dont need to re root anymore

Could u plz give me a link for root.zip..i tried install from dev section..started by 'bdigitalstudio' success installed via cwm..but after install super su it was say cant find su binary..any idea??
