hi.
I've recently got Sony Xperia S
unlocked it as it's written on site, and flashed pre-rooted system.img
but after reboot, it's stuck on Sony logo, only showing Xperia logo for first boot
after, it's keeping rebooting.
relocked BL, tried to repair it with SEUS. all went ok, but after reboot it doesnt want to boot again...
please help
Hi, u might try to down load flash tool and download the generic ROM for your model ARC S and try flashing the ROM it might bring it back to life... I received my ARC S today it was updated to the latest ROM so i had to downgrade then rooted it with Super One Click 2.2 then updated to the newest ROM and all is well
All 2011 Xperia firmwares EXCEPT build .62 can be rooted. If your build is .62 you'll have to downgrade to .42

You can only get recovery on stock 11.A.0.47 Firmware, no one else had made one for the above firmwares.
So if you want to have recovery on stock flash the above firmware ftf (11.A.0.47), Link in Official Xperia E Thread.
Or else install CM10 or Xboost etc.
So i had the bootloader of my phone unlocked, but almost every Sony Xperia E user is facing a bootloop problem after unlocking the bootloader. So i reflashed the whole stock rom (.ftf) and the bootloop error is now gone. But i want to know if the bootloader is still unlocked, because i want to flash a new kernel. But in order to flash a kernel, you need to have the bootloader unlocked. Any suggestions???
Yes, it is still unlocked
Hi,
I've been looking throughout the forum but I couldn't find any way to get my phone (Xperia M2 D2306) back to a state where OTA updates are possible (if it is possible at all).
I flashed the unofficial CM 12.1 version posted here using TWRP, although it mostly works I couldn't use FM Radio and found it quite laggy, so I've decided to revert to the most recent stock version (an FTF file I found using XperiFirm).
My concern is:
Do I need just to wipe everything before using flashtool and also is there any intermediate step I'm missing?
If successful, does the phone allow OTA updates from there on or they'll always have to be applied from the PC?
Thanks.
Relock bootloader with ta keys for ota updates to work Otherwise flash ftf via flashtool
Hi,
I tried to root my Xperia Z3 D6603 with flashtool. I downloaded the Global firmware version 23.0.A.2.93 since my bootloader is locked to root my device. Once flashed, my device boot normally, but it says contacts has stopped and then reboot over and over again. My phone is the Canadian version and i'm wondering if there is something to troubleshoot my problem.
Thank you very much
Michel
download the different stock rom and flash it again
hello, im wrongly flash file(kernel?), and now my phone shows as e6653 at flashtool..
phone condition:
1.can boot to twrp,flash,adb mode
2.wont load custom rom(stuck at rom logo)
had tried :
1. companion, missingphoneinfo error
2. flash stock so-01h, this bundle not for your phone, also error with e6653 firmware
3. extract kernel from so-01h firmware, but flash error
dtb not found
please,any solution guys?
no one at here have setool box
:crying:
Get Flashtool 0.9.22.2
Download So-01H FTF available on experifirm
Flash the FTF
TWRP and root will be gone but you will have a working phone wit stock MM
I tried this and worked. Nothing else worked for me. No custom roms or Nougat ftf from anywhere.
If you found any way to install custom roms please let me know too.
Thanks
